I have actually lost my wallet around here and one of the neighbors returned it to Julie to give back to me.

Hello I just want to inform any person/family seeking a beautiful, well maintained, clean living…read moreexperience, you come to the right place! I've been a resident at RMVA for 8 years and my wife and I love it! In my review I mostly want to concentrate on Manager Tyonni Nelson and Daisy Every concern, issue I've ever had was resolved in the professional manner. Not only are Tyonni & Daisy competent at their jobs, they bring a level of personal responsibility for my families living experience. I had a complaint from neighbors that my music was too loud. As soon after I played my music too loud ,I got a phone call with a very professional, but stern warning about "courtesy and compliance " The point is even though I was warned I never felt like someone was against me. I didn't detect anything negative vibes in Tyonni's warning and actually apologized a couple of months later Tyonni and Daisy both are very capable women and the organization that employs need to understand that you have 2 winners in your company! I would even go as far in saying that you may want to look at upgrading them both into higher management and I'm going to tell you why. I've been here 8 years and I didn't expect either of them to be in the same place after 3 years. (Don't get me wrong) It's none of my business but then again in my opinion you must take care of employees like this. I am a harsh critic, I am fearless and once I assess the issue there's no filter. If RMVA's did terrible business, or anything that made me regret paying $2,300 a month, I'd waste no time with a different review.. Thank you Tyonni & Daisy and thank you all for reading my book

I liked that there was a lot of trees which was surprising for the area it's in. Community seemed quite and clean. They have upgraded some apartments with modern stainless steel appliances but some have your standard white ones. They do offer an option to upgrade appliances for a fee. A good place to check out if looking for your next home! Thanks Chloe for your time and attention through the process.

I moved into The Artisan at Claremont earlier this week, and I have to admit, I was incredibly…read morenervous after reading many of the Yelp reviews. Before arriving, I reached out to Bryon, the Maintenance Supervisor, and shared my concerns. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, supported, and comfortable throughout the move-in process. I also want to recognize Irene from Southridge Apartments (the sister property), who handled my lease application and move-in. She was incredibly kind, reassuring, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless. Danelle, the new Property Manager, has also been amazing. She's been boots on the ground from day one, whether it was being so personable during my walkthrough, responding promptly to my phone calls, or making sure residents feel heard and supported. As an extra precaution, which I do at all places I have newly moved into, I thoroughly cleaned my apartment in addition to the professional cleaning completed by the property. I did this to carefully inspect and ensure that there were no pre-existing infestations or issues, and thankfully, I have not encountered any rodents or roaches. I know I've only been here for a few days, so I can't speak to the long-term experience yet. However, for anyone considering The Artisan at Claremont, I encourage you to keep an open mind and form your own opinion. So far, my experience has been significantly better than what I expected after reading online reviews, and I truly hope that continues. The units on this property are older, but the complex has undergone significant renovation to modernize the units. I will give credit where credit is due; the staff I've worked with have been exceptional, and they deserve recognition for the effort they've put into making this transition a positive one.

We lived at The Artisan for 7 years in two different apartments. Our first apartment (2018-2023)…read morewas the second building in from Indian Hill and was not yet renovated, but great. We were very happy there. During one particularly rainy season the ceiling leaked over the stairs but the roof was quickly repaired and it never happened again. In May 2023 we moved to a larger 4 bedroom in the building just west of the pool. We regretted this move almost immediately. In the new apartment we experienced a roach infestation and rats in the walls. Rats could be seen running around the property during the day and at night. There were also rats eating the walls inside our garage. On top of this, giant horse flies were entering our home from the attic space through a light fixture. Water pooled inside our dryer when not in use because it shared a vent with another unit next to us. Nothing could be done to fix this. It took hours and a lot of electricity to dry a single load. We experienced two major floods in our kitchen from a burst pipe almost one year apart from each other. The first was over a holiday weekend and no one responded to our plumbing emergency for hours. The remodeled new cabinetry had to be cut out and replaced and holes cut out of the wall under the sink to access very old pipes. Cardboard was placed inside to block the hole until it was repaired, however at least one rat (that we saw) managed to get into our apartment during this timeframe. The AC didn't work at all upstairs during the summer and our kids were miserable. The last thing I will mention is that the water bill was astronomically high every month. It's my opinion that there must have been leaks all over the property that renters became responsible for since all property water usage was divided between residents. Parking was limited. Once we got home from work we stayed home for the evening otherwise we would usually lose our parking space. There's no overnight parking in the city of Claremont. The property itself was quiet and peaceful. Generally safe. It's a nice place to live if you have a dog. The landscaping was always attractive and pool well maintained. The surrounding neighborhood is nice to walk in. "Luxury Apartments" definitely didn't describe our experience the last two years of living there, especially for the steep price.

I feel…read morelike I can genuinely come to her with a concern (I have!) and she'll try to resolve it in a logical way and not just the "refer to your lease" type of way. Javier is the maintenance staff I've interacted with and this guy is so cool. He's funny, kind, courteous and it's clear that he genuinely cares. He is always on top of things and I've never felt forgotten. I have never dealt with someone in maintenance who has been as good at their job as he has been. This guy really goes above and beyond and it does not go unnoticed. There's also Chris and he is quiet but sweet and equally helpful and considerate. He puts a smile on my face everytime I see him and he never fails to give a friendly wave whenever I see him. Fabian is the most recent maintenance staff I've seen and he's just as great as Chris and Javier. The guys are always helpful even going so far as to help me bring groceries in when they've seen me struggling to get up the stairs. The staff here really is top notch.

But Greystar, the management, and office staff absolutely ruin it.) They have a lot of vacancies (and no, it's not because of the new building - even though they will try and use that as a way to justify why so many units are empty) and its because no one wants to stay there, and its not worth the price. They absolutely ripped me off when I moved out. Not to mention they mishandled my move-in experience to the point that they opted in to give me a concession to address what they did. Rent elsewhere. I regret staying here.

My 2 year old daughter and I never feel left out or alone in this community! We just had a pizza and family game night in our pool area and we were so happy to see Stephanie and George participating in the event, truly made this apartment complex feel like a home. Would highly recommend this community if you are looking for a well maintained and friendly community! Can't wait for our big screen movie night by the pool with Bailey hosting in a couple months!

Michelle really needs to keep track of what she tells people, she wasted my dad's time. I have been…read morehelping my dad apartment hunt, and I found these apartments for him to contact. He had an appointment to view the apartments last Saturday (12/21/24) @ 10:00 AM. He drives all the way up to Upland and he calls Michelle who proceeds to tell him that she can't show the apartment because the maintenance is working on it. So that he could either go later that day or do for another day. No apologies or anything, I guess a confirmed appointment means nothing. When my dad contacted these apartments and spoke to her, he was very clear he was looking for a 2 bedroom, she told him they would have a 2 bed/1 ba with garage starting mid/late January, but in the meantime she could show a similar unit to get a feel for the layout. Hence the appointment on Saturday the 21st. Fast forward today, he has an appointment at 4:00 PM on Dec. 26/2024. He then proceeds to drive up to Upland AGAIN. Under the assumption the 2 bedroom/ 1 ba DOWSTAIRS unit was still going to be available in January like she knew he was looking for. She showed my dad the unit but not really she was just standing there not caring to show him around. He then asks about the downstairs apartment 2 bedroom they were in speaks of and she told him that it was already rented. Of course my dad was confused because per her words, it was supposedly not even available yet. She then is telling my dad that per him being self employed he would need to show bank statements with 30x the rent as the ending balance. Which that she never even mentioned beforehand. Be FFR, anyone with 30x the rent would not rent from these apartments that has barely to no parking and homeless people walking around. It's very clear she just did not want to rent to my dad or take him seriously for whatever her reasons were, but what angers me is wasting my dad's time!! Especially after Christmas to have to drive up to Upland in hopes of finding his new place. I have called and spoke to Michelle when I first inquired on behalf of my dad and she is quick to want to tour the apartments and get the ball rolling, but I guess only if she takes you seriously! Do better Michelle, you're not very good at your job.
