It turned out the tech had left a wire dangling and it shorted out a fuse. They apologized and of course there was no charge. This year we were coming back into town and set the HVAC systems to cool. Both the upstairs and first floor units were only putting out hot air and running 24/7 trying to cool the house. When we arrived, the house was at 98 degrees. I called the after-hours support and left a message. While I was waiting for a call back, I went outside and I only heard silence. Both outdoor units were not running. I opened the breaker box and saw that both breakers were flipped off. This was the first time using the units since yet another 6-month service call. The after-hours tech listened and suggested I call back on Monday and talk to the service manager. The tech was going to send a message to the service manager that I was going to call. I did call on Monday, but he was not in the office. They told me he would call back later that day or the next. It has been two months and still no response from the manager. Even though I have already paid for the fall service I am just counting the money loss since I can't risk them working on my system again and causing real damage.

They included two follow up maintenance calls valued at $75 each. They should have just taken the money off the bill at the time because these visits were worthless. After each of these calls, they made suggestions as to how I could spend more money with them and did not perform any maintenance at all. I contacted them and all they did was to continue sending me boilerplate emails recommending I buy more of their "services". They are unresponsive and they do not do what they say they will do. BTW, I worked for Honeywell for years doing commercial HVAC maintenance and these guys may not be scammers, but they are acting like scammers in my opinion.
