My 2nd floor toilet was leaking at the flange area. After I cut the ceiling where the leak was I was able to confirm it was a wax ring failure. Plumber XP quoted me $250 to repair and replace the wax ring under the toilet. But after assessing my scenario more closely they determined my drain was positioned too low and needed to be raised for a proper fit to my toilet. My previous contractor had stacked two wax rings on top of each other to compensate for the recessed flange below the floor tile level which ultimately led to the leak. Instead of patching the situation, I elected to fix the underlying root cause and was quoted $875 to replace the ABS drain pipe under the toilet and have a new flange installed. Belman and his coworker did a clean and professional job of making the repairs and the leak has been fixed. Belman did a great job explaining all the details I needed to make an informed decision. I felt confident the entire time with the quality of his workmanship. I especially appreciated all the detailed stepwise photos taken before and after the job. A bit late on this review but just wanted to put the good word about Gabriel. Really professional and quick to answer. Very straightforward about the job I inquired about. Needed to replace both spigot backflow preventor for my house because the builder decided it was a good idea to solder off the pin is fixed into the spigot so making removal is next to impossible without proper tool or experience. The second time, my AC condenser unit's drain pipe clogged, causing water to back up into the attic and leak through a recessed light. This was a major headache that required calling my homeowner's insurance and ServPro in the middle of the night to prevent further damage. Back in December I called the office to get an estimate on re-piping the sewer pipes since the pipes were already corroded. I was no longer able to use my kitchen sink. I had two other estimates and plumber XP were not only more reasonable but Eddie explained throughly the whole processed, and ensure to minimized the breaking of concrete since my home is on slab. The only breaking that took place inside the home was in my small restroom since that piping was also replaced along with some sry wall, but nothing more. We called to have them check our bath tub faucet which was old and leaking, and the reason our shower would turn cold when ever another source of water (i.e. the kitchen) was turned on at the same time. We also wanted them to see why our garbage disposal was leaking under the sink. While there, they noticed our water heater located near the door they entered was leaking and needed to be replaced! We had not noticed as we rarely use that door. It was blessing that they noticed it. They determined the faucet needed to be replaced (it was very old) and they had to go into the wall to replace the valve that would prevent the shower turning cold unexpectedly, which required cutting into dry wall and replacing it. They fixed the disposal leak at no charge, and replaced the water heater... all done in a timely manner the same day. Our Positive Experience with Plumber XP We recently finished a complete house repipe with Plumber XP and would recommend them to anyone considering similar work. The project involved repiping the entire house with PEX, installing a new tankless water heater and water softener, adding three new hose bibs, replacing all valves for sinks, toilets, washer and dryer, and shower heads, installing new shower heads in both bathrooms, removing old appliances like the water heater, and handling thorough cleanup throughout. We obtained several quotes, and while a few were slightly lower, Plumber XP stood out because of a recommendation from our neighbor who had used them for their own repipe. The owner, Gabriel, also made a strong impression by personally handling the initial walkthrough and quote. He was knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and professional--qualities we didn't see as consistently from the other companies. Their quote included drywall patching (but not painting), which was a helpful detail. Gabriel's wife, Angela, handled all the details with the quote, financing, and rebate for the tankless water heater. She was great and walked us through the loan and rebate process step by step.
