We called to have them check our bath tub faucet which was old and leaking, and the reason our shower would turn cold when ever another source of water (i.e. the kitchen) was turned on at the same time. We also wanted them to see why our garbage disposal was leaking under the sink. While there, they noticed our water heater located near the door they entered was leaking and needed to be replaced! We had not noticed as we rarely use that door. It was blessing that they noticed it. They determined the faucet needed to be replaced (it was very old) and they had to go into the wall to replace the valve that would prevent the shower turning cold unexpectedly, which required cutting into dry wall and replacing it. They fixed the disposal leak at no charge, and replaced the water heater... all done in a timely manner the same day. They were polite, clean, wore shoe covers in the house, and the cost was reasonable. We were very satisfied. read more

Our Positive Experience with Plumber XP We recently finished a complete house repipe with Plumber XP and would recommend them to anyone considering similar work. The project involved repiping the entire house with PEX, installing a new tankless water heater and water softener, adding three new hose bibs, replacing all valves for sinks, toilets, washer and dryer, and shower heads, installing new shower heads in both bathrooms, removing old appliances like the water heater, and handling thorough cleanup throughout. We obtained several quotes, and while a few were slightly lower, Plumber XP stood out because of a recommendation from our neighbor who had used them for their own repipe. The owner, Gabriel, also made a strong impression by personally handling the initial walkthrough and quote. He was knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and professional--qualities we didn't see as consistently from the other companies. Their quote included drywall patching (but not painting), which was a helpful detail. Gabriel's wife, Angela, handled all the details with the quote, financing, and rebate for the tankless water heater. She was great and walked us through the loan and rebate process step by step. We chose the loan because of their 0% interest offer for 12 months (with the note that it must be paid off by the end to avoid retroactive interest charges). A huge shoutout goes to Enrique and Mario, who were the absolute MVPs of this project--they handled nearly all the hands-on work and were on-site the most, keeping everything on track from start to finish. Despite being young (both around 20), they were incredibly reliable, skilled, and professional every step of the way. They tackled the full repiping, all the valve replacements, hose bib additions, shower head installs, appliance removals, and cleanup with precision and care. The holes they cut in the walls were well thought out and as minimal as possible to make patching easier later. They even picked a great spot for the water softener and tankless water heater--outside, easy to access but out of the way. Small touches like offering to carry my groceries in from the car showed their thoughtful side, and on one tricky task, they drilled a new bar into the wall for a shower head perfectly; when a part was missing, they came back a few days later to wrap it up without a fuss. Marco, one of their electricians, stopped by to add a new 4-outlet box, which was a nice bonus, and Eddie, the project manager, checked in on several days to make sure things were smooth--but Enrique and Mario were the steady force driving it all. The job took about a week; they arrived on time each morning and worked steadily until the end of the day, keeping us informed on progress without us having to micromanage. We took a hands-off approach, and any questions or adjustments we raised were handled promptly without extra charges. The drywall patching process was great as well. Juan and Cibi (I hope I got the name right) took about two days to complete the work and were fantastic, friendly, and professional. The job was very clean, and they even fixed some small old patches. The project ran a few days over schedule, but we were completely fine with it given our minor requests along the way and their commitment to thoroughness--it was far more important to get everything done right. These guys are great. We've used them twice and will likely use them again. I called to quote locating and repairing a hot water leak under my slab, and they (Angela in the office) remembered my name and the exact date they did their last job at my house (April, 2023, sewer repair under the same slab). They (Gabriel, the owner, and technician Ephrain) arrived when they said they'd arrive, thoughtfully evaluated the problem, and quoted promptly. The next day, they (Angelo and Marco, with visits from Gabriel) cleanly executed the job, finished early, invoiced with work warranties listed, took CC payment, then provided a receipt with Before and After pictures of the job. They keep their vans meticulously stocked and run a tight ship. The crews they send are a mix of seasoned technicians and apprentices, and all are professional and thorough in their work. It would be a perfect world if plumbing never broke or wore out, but in this real world, Plumber XP is as close to perfect as it gets. Details: One morning I woke up and heard the hiss of water running. I went all around the house and saw that none of the faucets were open, so I suspected a leak somewhere. I found no water dripping from anywhere, but with my bare feet I felt that there was a strange hot spot on the floor, approximately 10' in diameter, in a corner of one of the bedrooms. The concrete in the yard outside the bedroom was warm, too. At that point I figured I had a hot water leak under the slab somewhere. I considered just turning off the hot water at the water heater ball valve when we weren't using it to minimize leakage. After a day or so of that, the leak seemed to increase (the leaking sound either increased, or I just became more paranoid), so I decided to get it evaluated by a plumber, at least. I called Plumber XP to come and have a look. Gabriel (the owner) showed up same-day, within the time window they provided. He had a look, felt the heat on the floor, used his special sensing equipment, and confirmed and located the leak. It was somewhere in the line that goes from the hot water manifold in the wall near the water heater, under the slab, and back up out of the slab at the kitchen sink. I then showed him the rest of the house, explaining that we have a large remodel coming up (some walls will be moving or removed, kitchen island added, etc.), and that any possible fix ought to be considered within that context. He's a thoughtful guy, and after some brief discussion, provided several options. We talked some more, and ended up deciding to temporarily bypass the leaking underground hot pipe. This fix only needs to last up to a year, because the kitchen sink will be relocated with the remodel anyway. We chose this quick and inexpensive way to get our sink/dishwasher working for now, minimizing the amount of work wasted when we tear down to do the remodel later. The new line taps into an existing hot water line in the attic, meanders down an exterior wall to the kitchen, and punches back inside through the stucco to feed the sink. It works fine for now, and is exactly the interim fix we need while we prepare for construction in a few months. To decrease the chance of developing more leaks and prematurely wearing out our fixtures, Gabriel suggested that we add a pressure regulator at the main water feed from the city. His gauge showed 90+ psi in the afternoon, and he told us that the pressure probably spikes to around 100 psi or so at night when there's less pressure loss due to reduced neighborhood water consumption. Makes sense to me. Gabriel suggested, backed up by a web search, that 40-80 psi is best for household piping and fixtures. Also, with a new housing development coming online soon nearby, he predicted that the city will likely raise the pressure to meet increased demand. We followed his suggestion to add it to our repair job, and our shiny new pressure regulator is operating at ~75 psi. read more

We have been using Plumber XP for years. They are always so courteous, professional, and willing to work with your tight schedule. I recently came home after a long weekend away and found out that our hot water heater was making loud rumbling noises. Call Plumber XP first thing Monday morning and they dispatched Gabriel to come take a look a few hours later. I was not at home and was prepared to have to take off the rest of the day to attend to the matter but since our hot water heater is easily accessible from the outside of the house Angela and Gabriel told me that they could evaluate it without my needing to head home first. Gabriel, text me pictures, called me on the phone to explain what had happened. Unfortunately, the tank had ruptured and the 10 year old water heater just needed to be replaced. I have been using Plumber XP for the past 3.5 years and so this review is long overdue. Throughout those years, Gabriel, Eddie, and the rest of their team have completed various major and minor jobs for my house, all with exceptional detail. These jobs include sewage pipe replacement, pipe sleeving, hydro jetting, fixing various minor leaks, installing fixtures, re-piping of inlet water lines from the meter to the house, installing a new water softener and water heater, and just recently, replacement of a sewage pipe in my house. Cost-wise for each of these jobs, I've had various other plumbers provide me estimates and EVERY SINGLE TIME, Plumber XP has beaten them all out, most times by a considerable margin and/or providing better materials compared to other plumbing companies at a reasonable cost. There was never a time where I felt I was being upsold on work. Communication-wise, Plumber XP explains the work to be done and timeframe of the work very clearly and respectfully and have no issues answering the numerous questions I have. This team has never failed to go out of their way to provide me updates throughout the day and return my calls promptly, even after normal business hours. Angela was very prompt and courteous with communications regarding invoicing and documentation as well! For the actual work and labor, Plumber XP has a very high attention to detail and always treats my house with such care as to make sure the interruptions throughout my day caused by these jobs are kept to a minimum. All the installations look very sturdy, professional, and are holding up to this day. I also have peace of mind with the considerable warranties that comes with their work.
