I had to call for help around 8 30 on Wednesday morning because my water heater ehcih started to leak on Tuesday night got worse overnight. The water was leaking unto the ceiling, surrounding walls, and the wood board underneath. The office staff was really friendly and the technician arrived like in 10 or 15 minutes. Joey and Belman were really nice and very professional. I paid $2000 to have the new water heater and was able to have hot eater back by noontime. Just finished a comprehensive repipe of our 1953 home which still had all the original plumbing!! We were long overdue. We've had experience working with the owners of Plumber XP in past years and they have become our go to plumbing company! They clearly explain their scope of work, are not pushy on trying to close a deal and in our opinion have reasonable rates. We had a very specific requirement on when the work needed to be complete because of an out of town guest arriving and the crew made it happen!! What really matters to us as homeowners are the people of a company and the high standards for customer service. The crew we had were awesome, all very respectable, kind, clean and neat. Carlos and Angelo were my on-site go to guys and always took the time to answer any questions/clarifications I had through the project. Gabriel the owner came a number of times to check in on the job and to make sure everything was on schedule and coming along smoothly (which it was). Angela in the office was also great the times we spoke for follow-up on certain items. Finally we are dog lovers and when folks are kind to our dog it means a lot to us. The Plumber XP team is very knowledgeable and experienced, especially Gabriel and Eddie. The communication was mostly satisfactory, and we felt like our project was in good hands. Scope of work: recessed gas valve box behind stove, water softener installation, re-route water feed pipes, p-trap addition for laundry, toilet replacements, and leaking sewer main repair. Service: We contacted Plumber XP initially just for recessing the gas valve. Gabriel came out to do an estimate and was able to complete the work on the same day. We appreciated him spending time explaining the work that needed to be done and finding the best solution (instead of whatever was the quickest fix). That gave us the confidence to move forward with getting his estimate for a few other plumbing upgrades that we've been wanting to get done. Workmanship: The team worked efficiently and tested everything thoroughly before wrapping up. Unlike other estimates we had received that required stucco work or deemed the job impossible, Gabriel and Eddie's expertise allowed them to complete the work by only accessing the drywall inside and rerouting some water lines. The only hiccup was with the initial location of the water softener -- it was too close to a bedroom, and the noise from the regeneration cycles would wake us up. While the team was able to relocate it, it would've been ideal if a more suitable location was recommended in the first place. Cost: It was comparable or less expensive than some of the other estimates we received. read more

On November 2, 2025, I experienced an urgent and hazardous plumbing emergency--a severe drain clog within my residence. In good faith, I initially engaged the services of a company operating under the name High Speed Rooter & Plumbing. This entity failed to perform any substantive work to remedy the issue, yet imposed upon me an unconscionable charge of $2,800. Their representatives engaged in conduct that was not only unprofessional but discriminatory and offensive, including a remark to the effect of: "You know when there's an old person living in the house when you see a prescription for Ibuprofen." As a Veteran and a handicapped senior citizen, such behavior constitutes a blatant disregard for basic respect and may rise to the level of unlawful discrimination. Further, this company attempted to exploit my vulnerable situation by presenting an outrageous estimate exceeding $60,000 for a full pipe replacement--an amount grossly disproportionate to the actual need and indicative of predatory business practices. Still suffering from the unresolved emergency, I sought assistance from Plumber XP. The contrast was immediate and profound. This company demonstrated integrity, transparency, and professionalism at every stage. Their team--specifically Belman and Edwin--acted with diligence and competence, clearly explaining each step of the process and resolving the issue promptly without imposing unnecessary costs. Plumber XP has been the best plumbing firm I've ever experienced. Family owned and operated, they are honest, professional, extremely communicative and super responsive. My mother-in-law's home is 50+ years old with the original plumbing system. Her water bills had been increasing and she received a number of notices from the City. A tech went out to identify the root cause(s) and spent several hours identifying multiple locations. It was so complex the owner, Gabriel, went out the next day to inspect the findings himself. He too spent several hours assessing the situation. He then also called me, at my mother-in-law's request, and explained the myriad of areas that needed repair/replacement along with pictures. He sent an estimate and scope of work that seemed very reasonable for the number of repairs needed. The next day a crew of 6+ and convoy of trucks were onsite to perform the necessary work. Gabriel was there to monitor the progress and direct, as needed. There was not even a minimal amount of disruption while they were there. When the work was completed (ahead of schedule) you couldn't even tell they were there despite a number of areas, inside and out, were impacted. Pictures/videos of the repairs (before and after) made everything above board and provided an added level of peace of mind. I cannot emphasize what a fantastic experience Plumber XP has been. I had to get a lot of things done at my house from changing out faucets and angle stop valves to trying to figure out where a funky sewer/poopy smell was coming from. Joey T came out to inspect and give me an estimate. He was courteous, friendly, and super knowledgeable. He went hunting around trying to figure out where the bad smell was coming from and even went into the attic to check the vents. He was able to pinpoint the smell to the area by the toilet (which was the area I also thought the smell was the strongest) and suggested changing out the wax ring on the toilet as a first step to stopping the smell. I also want to mention here that Joey T really worked with me on the pricing so that I could afford to get all the work done (and if you are an educator, ask for their educator's discount).
