I discussed with Francisco the plumber that came out different methods and cost to resolve the bathtub clog. There is no exterior clean out access so he went on the roof to run the camera down the vent pipe first . Snaking could possibly dislodge the clog but if it didn't I would still have to pay the same amount which I thought was somewhat unfair. The other option was to hi pressure water jet the pipe through the bathtub. I chose the jetting at a higher cost but more chances of clearing the obstruction and and a better long term cleanup of the pipe. I would recommend this plumber. I hate to spend money with plumbers but if necessary I'd recommend a long term fix than a short term repair. read more

Great service! Not only was he knowledgable about his trade but to explain every step of the way showing pictures and answering our questions so that we understood everything is was what made this 5 stars! Our issue was that our tub was clogged so most places were quoting $75-150 to come and unclog it. Via phone showing pictures he gave us a wire we agreed on and when he arrived right on time he said he would that was the plan. With his knowledge and to ensure that was the only issue he wanted to do a full inspection which we are so happy he did as we found larger issues unfortunately but if he would have just fixed the minor problem we would be under water literally! As he did his inspection with in the first 10 minutes he found a broken pipe that had been dripping for some time, along with areas that showed that when we flushed the water would leak as we had done a minor remodel 2 years ago but looks like they didn't seal everything correctly. We didn't expect to have these things happen right before thanksgiving off course but he told us what to expect along the way as well as how long it would take. He could have said I'll come tomorrow or Friday after thanksgiving but he said he would do the work the same day even though it was nearing outside of working hours so that we would have no issues when family would be over for thanksgiving but he did give us that option if we wanted to. I love that he gave us options on what we can fix now vs what can wait and a time line for how long it would take to fix all issues. The way he explained everything made my dad feel at ease as well as show him visually like using the snake to show him where the issues was and how long it was going to the main using a metal detector of sorts was amazing. As with other plumbers he would just nod but didn't understand it fully so by him taking his time and explaining it in basic terms (in Spanish btw really helped to hire him in not only this job but in feature jobs. He guarantees his work btw and said if anything is wrong at all he will come right out and fix it right away. While he was fixing the main issues he found a couple other things that he just fixed along the way like using double wax under the toilet cleaning up the area scrapping the gunk complétalo before he reinstalled it and made sure it was in place as before it was a bit uneven. Fixed the water pressure that we were told by a previous plumber we couldn't have it increased. And lastly left everything exactly as it was by sweeping up and cleaning up after them selves and were very aware of their surroundings cleaning up as they past through as they were coming in and out of the house to get materials, tools,test things out. I would defiantly hire this company again and remember it's not always the lowest bid that is the best as knowledge and explanation are more important at least to me so I can use this knowledge later. read more

Our water utility did some work on our street 2 years ago to increase water pressure to a neighboring street at the end of the line. As a result our pressure was a bit higher than it should be (~96 psi). Since then, I've had some small issues with a fixture or two going bad inside the house, sprinkler pipe leaks, and had noticed that I had a small leak at my water main before it entered the house. I suspect the street work had something to do with it... Anyway, finally got around to scheduling a professional to address the leak on the main water pipe. They came out to take a look and advised replacing the full main water line because it was an older cast iron pipe and was likely to crack or get worse if they attempted any repair work. He also advised that the underground pipe was probably in the same or worse shape. He quoted a price on the spot of $2700 to replace it with HDPE piping. I also wanted a PRV added to reduce the pressure into the house, which he added an extra $500 for. Much more than what I wanted to spend, but this is something I knew I'd eventually have to do and is a good upgrade for the long term. Researching the prices, this was pretty reasonable. I asked for some time to figure out how to pay for it and he was super flexible. I figured out the funding and reached back out to them a day or two later and scheduled it a month away. A team of 3 workers showed up on time Thursday morning. They knocked it out in about 6 or 7 hours. The finished result is pretty decent. It's pretty high off the ground, but otherwise does exactly what it should do. Not much to complain about. The grass might die where they trenched, but that's somewhat expected. They cleaned up very well and I'm happy with the service. As an added perk that I hadn't asked about, it's a 3 year warranty that he noted on my invoice. read more
