This is in addition to my original review which still is standing. This will also serve as evidence toward the overall case. Looks like plumbing response team, and plumbing response pros. Are under the same ownership. Today the owner 5/7/2025 decided to undergo yelp name change bypassing Yelps screening, for " guarenteed by Yelp"! Yes Yelp this ones for you to see as we discussed ;) looks like the owner Craig Heaps is name changing his profile /business name over to Plumbing pros now. If you see my two attached photos here you can clearly see it's the same person avoiding problems on yelp. By changing their names. For the public's knowledge, if you see the entity change from plumbing response team, or plumbing response Pro , or Plumbing response Wiz or plumbing squad or plumbing pros this is all one owner under he name listed in my original review. I was actually private messaged by other reviewers showing me threatening messages and saying they gave wrong information. I am here to show proof if needed of all his entities and llc name changes. It seems like he is trying to threaten others in private messages. So let this be public known and if any other reviewers have been threatened by Craig heaps to send me a message for more detail discussion. I have an open case and the proper channels are being worked. I have also updated my photos to disclose proof he's same person under different Yelp accounts however, if you need llc history documents message me for open case number and you can add your involvement to the case if see fit. ****Original*** review This company is a scam, they reopen their business under new names plumbing response team llc and plumbing response Pros. Craig Heaps is the owners of this company and likes to increase his "scope of work". He offered to exchange out some old ball valves on my main water line and update the system with a prv in exchange for some yelp reviews to help his business. I can see why now. However upon arrival he instantly wanted to open an insurance claim up and then told me he would generate invoices so I would get money back in my pocket while his work would be free too. Well ya money back in my pocket that sounded great! I listened and was like whoa you can do that legally then yeah sign me up for some money right? Wrong, people who don't understand insurance they increase damage on paper and in this case to your house without permission and behind your back insurance I guess cuts the contractor a check. So that contractor might get like 20 grand for a two grand job. Craig went on to mention I'll just create some invoices for you and submit them to your insurance, you will get a check and I'll get paid out to meaning both of us customer and him. Let's fast forward We'll skip ahead a million, I found out that's fraud and after dealing with this plumber and the setup he gave me the illegal setup of a garden hose, when my system was working perfectly fine before he touched it. I simply just wanted updated ball valves and in this case free in exchange for a review, well now I have a compromised main copper line and a garden hose connecting the two together. So now I have contact my insurance and let them know I was mislead and mis understood how the insurance side worked and wanted to close that claim after finding out shady practice was being done. Also in Arizona it is illegal to be a non ROC plumber working on main systems. As well as any 1,000$ work orders or higher. Craig had said e rights multiple invoices for under 1 grand to stay in compliance for that though. I would like yelp to ban this guy from ever listing on help again as this person will be getting prosecuted from my side of things. Police attorney general and my own attorney will have this guy hopefully locked up so the rest of you do not have to worry. In the mean time yelp, please reach out to me as this violates many of your guidelines. read more

Plumbing response team came out today and did an incredible job. Our water heater was fixed the same day with an awesome tech named Cory who was extremely helpful. He explained the process every step of the way, was transparent about costs, and they were even able to assist us with some water damage issues to prevent any further mold/damage. We are so happy we have hot water, and Craig the owner was super professional and friendly throughout the process. It's nice to finally have a plumber we can trust. read more

What a absolute shit show plumbing company. Highly advise anybody out there, using yelp for plumbing services do NOT use these guys. They were hired for a maintenance simple 200$ job but turned around and invoiced me 2,500$ I got yelled at to my face because I told them what they were doing was not right. The owner of Plumbing Pros name is Craig Heaps. Looks like he has multiple names of companies he's operating underneath here on yelp. Many others are complaining of fraud this fake plumber is committing. Someone should get that investigated. Terrible service terrible people, when they are at your house for "work" it almost feels like armed robbery, I have a neighbor named Nancy who told me her whole story about this plumber one time. Requested a quote on Yelp after hours and Craig and the Plumbing Response Team was the first company to get back to me. I got several quotes but many of the other businesses were trying to up charge for a simple service. Craig's prices were more than fair and so we decided to book. They sent someone out on time, got my job done, and were honest about the work that needed to be done. In the past my experience with plumbers they always seem to exaggerate issues and use scare tactics to make you spend thousands on work you don't need. Overall I was super impressed and even saved their number in my phone for the next time I have any plumbing issues.. I won't be needing to use Yelp to search for a plumber going forward as they'll be my first call from here on out. This company is a NIGHTMARE, and I feel completely scammed after paying over $3,400 out of pocket on 7/25/24 for plumbing repairs. I am yet to receive any reimbursement as Craig promised thru my homeowners' insurance. He has an excuse regarding the paperwork every time I call. My rebuild process has begun with another company and they are telling me he painted over parts INSTEAD OF PROVIDING NEW PARTS! Seriously! I should have known better as payment was made to City Boi BBQ due to their office changing/updating their payment process/technology. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I am devasted to the loss of funds I have paid and it looks like I will also be paying to fix his errors. He is no longer accepting my calls or texts so that is why I am writing this. Craig, the owner came back and corrected the work, including the work of the second plumber. He also recommended installing a regulator to help prevent future leaks. And my house is now up to code. Would be 5 stars but a lot of rework was required. read more

I have a 1957 home in Encanto. I've know the original sewer pipes were going bad for sometime and they finally gave out. My shower wouldn't drain and the toilet struggled to flush. I called plumbing response team and Craig sent his technician Rick to my home within an hour at 11pm on a Friday night. They were able to get my toilet to flush but the shower still wouldn't drain. On Monday they were able to put a camera down there and showed me the broken pipe. I thought the estimate Craig gave me was high until I got a second opinion and declined a third because they wanted 380$ to diagnose the problem. I went with plumbing response teams bid mainly because they pointed out how my home owners insurance could help with the bill and the floor that they had to jackhammer thru to fix the pipe. Long story short Craig and Rick handlers the problem in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend this company and specifically Craig and Rick (very knowledgeable) to handle any plumbing problem you might have. read more

Would NEVER recommend this company for any type of work. Asked for a simple water heater installation and they end up making claims to insurance for things other than installing my water heater. Now have a completely torn up kitchen and bathroom and STILL NO HOT WATER!!! Extremely frustrated with the way they handled this. read more

I went thru a nightmare with Craig Heaps and this "Plumbing Response Team". What started as a tub repipe turned into his "evaluation" as a "plumber" (he holds no plumbing or Azroc license) that I should file not one, but what turned into 2 insurance claims as supposedly my whole sewer system was beyond repair, and my whole water system was leaking in walls. Living out of state I trusted him because he said he was a plumber, and I learned some valuable lessons. VERIFY EVERYTHING he says. He had my whole house torn up for months, and my sone was without his only bathroom for months as he "fit me" in between jobs telling me it would take a couple weeks max. In Arizona i am told anything over 1,000 dollars should not be handled by a "handiman" which at best is this situation. I was lied to, misled, and suffered for months because of Craig Heaps and the unlicensed people he had tear my house up. He walked off job after damaging my whole electrical system with unearned money also, and could not complete putting bathroom back together like he said he could with the help of Rick (Ricardo Mendoza) and other supposed plumbers who put a water heater in improperly and left it unfinished. Further...he used another company ROC or contractor number when they had nothing to do with the work! That company verified to me they did not do any work! DO NOT USE THIS MAN OR COMPANY. I am still putting together a complaint with AZROC for so many reasons, but be warned! Pictures are of way more than 1,000 worth of damage/work unfinished, how he left my house, trash left on property, wires cut, and so much more! He admitted he wanted to make things right and agreed to try to settle... but no follow thru again. I hope this helps someone else. RUN AWAY! This is the most crooked company I've ever had to deal with. They take advantage of older people, will not provide any invoices and will fraudulently charge your credit card for work not done. They also claim issues/leaks that are not present. This company took advantage of my mom. They were ready to rip apart her bathroom claiming there was a leak. They had mold and asbestos testing going on and ready to get her insurance involved. We had our plumber come out and said there was no evidence of any current or past leak. This company did some work and charged quite a bit, and we acknowledged the work done and it was paid for. But then there was a charge for $3500 that they would not provide an invoice for (in fact the initial work also did not have any invoice). The owner, Craig Heaps, called my mom when we were visiting demanding to know why she put a stop payment on the $3500, which she hadn't. We thought maybe the bank had done so and said yeah, we just need to see an invoice to know what she is getting charged. He claimed she had an invoice and I asked if it was a paper copy or sent to her email or what. He would not answer. I asked if he could send a copy to us and he yells, so you expect me to do MORE free work after you're saying you won't pay me for work completed?! He proceeded to threaten that he was going to contact his attorney and put a lein on my mom's house. I said we're not saying we won't pay, we simply need to see an invoice. He continued to rant and hung up on us. He continued to harrass my mom with phone calls and texts demanding payment (even though the payment had gone through)... all the while not producing an invoice. This is the most shady person I've ever dealt with. Watch your wallet and your parents. This company is bad news!!! read more
