So much fun, excitement, and entertainment. There is a 10 dollar cover charge at the door. No food to purchase but can have food delivered by Door Dash. Great band. Music selections are based on tips along with request from the audience. Great place for music lovers.

Lots of fun for a group or a couple. Four very professional musicians that know how to get a crowd going and have some fun. They can rotate across pianos, drums and other instruments. Very energetic! Wait staff is great! They are energetic and friendly, quick the night we were there. Food is meh, but you don't go here for the food. Wings are saucy and good. Make a reservation to have a table. Cover charge does not apply to food or drink. Drinks are reasonable price.

Perfect vibe. Makes me feel like I'm in an 80s movie. Service is fantastic and the menu is solid. Fantastic and original bar concept. Great idea for a night out

I love PLUS. I love that it's not like the previous dueling piano bar I have been to that was more formal and kind of stuffy if I'm honest - this is not that at all. This is just straight up a fun place to be where people very clearly love music. They have a small stage, lots of instruments, lots of drink options, surprisingly good food and BIG personalities. I'd recommend getting a reservation if you want a table, and know they fill up quickly once doors open. The crowd controls the music, I feel like there are some staples in the selections, as you'd expect, but there have been some truly wonderful surprises on my visits. You'll also see a mix of clientele, so the mood can change quickly, although the musicians do a great job of energizing everyone. Overall I love this place and love bringing people from out of town to visit. It is a unique and fun night out!

It was my first time at PLUS Dueling Bar, I was excited to try it out. I love live music. We parked in a parking garage nearby, that is the best way to go on a weekend night. Just look for the blue sign with a capital P and public parking lots are nearby. There was a $10 dollar cover. When you walk in there are drink specials, including Jell-O shots. The musicians are on a stage that rotates at different times throughout the night: they worked hard to keep the energy up. The bathrooms were clean. The wait staff were really busy. All in all a good time, not a place to have a lot of conversation but definitely a place to people watch and listen to live music.

I have been hearing good things about the piano bar so I was excited to finally be able to check it out. The bar is located downtown so parking may be an issue. There is a parking structure nearby that you can park in. There is a $10 cover charge to enter to bar. I def recommend that you make reservations so that you have a table to sit at during your visit. I got there not too long after they opened and the bar was pretty full. We were seated at a two person table and later in the evening multiple people were seated directly above us in close proximity with no social distancing. The overall concept was cool with patrons able to request songs that the band would play. In order to submit a request you must include a tip. Songs were chosen based upon the amount of the tip. Most of the songs that were getting played had tips of $20 or more attached to them. There were two piano players that sang and a drummer. The band was really good and played a variety of music such as Cardi B, Bruno Mars and Def Leppard. The band performing WAP was hilarious. The host was also funny and allowed those that paid for songs to come on stage and dance during their request. The piano bar also offers food options such as wings, pizza, and fries. They also have $2 pizza slices after 10pm. The servers also walked around with shots for purchase. Our server was nice.

We had such a great time here. We came on a Saturday night around 11PM so the place was quite full. We were able to snag a couple decent seats. We ordered some drinks and food and enjoyed the show. I've never been to this type of establishment before but based on reviews from others I kind of knew what to expect. They were calling out the big tippers so if you have something specific you wanted to listen to, be prepared to spend some money. There were some people tipping $50-$100. Although most of the music was not really my speed but they did have some awesome requests that were more in my realm. I, myself did not make any requests but enjoyed the show nonetheless. Regardless of the song, the performers were all so talented and made the whole thing fun. They are funny and lively, keeping the whole crowd What we ordered: - Slice of cheese pizza - Mild Buffalo wings - Side of fries (our waitress suggested some queso on the side abs that was a great idea) - A beer and a cider Our waitress was good and everything came out quick. I don't think that most people come here for the food anyways so it was just ok. I'm originally from upstate NY so I have a higher standard for pizza and wings. I'd pass on the pizza next time but then again it was only $2 so it wasn't terrible. I'm glad to see that they carried my favorite cider (1911). Literally everyone who works there must be multi-talented. One of the bartenders got on stage and sang beautifully. The person who checked our IDs got on stage eventually and played the drums. It's just amazing! I guess if you plan on coming early you can reserve a table/seat but it doesn't last all night. I would definitely come back with friends if I am ever in the area.

I enjoyed our experience at PLUS. Great food, even better cocktails. I had the garlic pepper wings and fries. I tried several cocktails. The entertainment was different from any other experience. We had decent seats near the wall. I will be back soon!

One of the best places on Glenwood! A little hidden with a small cover but well worth it. Excellent music with 2 pianos and drum set.

I was ecstatic when I learned he would finally visit the US for a tour and Raleigh was a stop. The staff did an amazing job controlling the crowds, providing hospitality, and safety. I parked in General Admission parking where I prepaid $14.00, it's the very last lot on your right. Entering was easy, getting out was a nightmare. Staff is needed following the event to direct the cars out of the spaces. There are other options for parking that will get you closer to the venue for $20+. We stood in line for about 45 minutes prior to entry. The staff managed the check in process very well. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. We were offered filtered water from the cooler jug where we stood for the show facing the front stage by the speakers & entrance to the back stage. Closest to bar and the exit. Cocktails were served in a cocktail shaker were sold for $22. We had an excellent view of the show. There is upper balcony seating for an additional Upgrade price, if you do not want to stand or be in the midst of the action. The Jupiter Lounge provides an elevated experience prior to show. Allowing you to unwind and have a cocktail. The temperature in the building was set to Alaska. Bring a light jacket and a small clear purse. I really enjoyed this show. The lighting and sound were terrific ! Memories were made. Thank you to the staff.

The artists don't start until about 2-2.5 hours after doors open, so keep that in mind. Found the opener performance for Santigold so boring/annoying after the first 15 minutes that I had to go out front and sit on a fold up chair with the bouncers to get away from it. Note also that you can't get back in e.g. with a stamp and new search; if you leave, you're out for good. Parking: pay for this, especially if you want to arrive later, but bring a smaller car. The guy parked everyone in so tightly and close to the fence we barely got out even with a small sporty vehicle. Purse: something around your neck with just ID and $/card. Don't bring even a clear purse as they'll stop you and go through your wallet anyway, and it's no fun to have on you when you're dancin' to the music. Artists: we've seen some pretty great concerts here, and it's always a more intimate experience. Feist was by far the best. Bring ear plugs to prevent hearing loss. Sound is superior.

Came here for a show recently and had a good time…read more I had a lawn ticket and was too cheap to rent a chair or blanket or anything like that, so I stood up most of the time :) I was in maybe the worst possible location (far right near the back of the lawn) but I could see the stage reasonably well and the audio was solid. On the negative side, the drinks were insanely expensive at $19 for a big can of "craft beer" (or $18 for the standard domestic options). Hot dogs were priced relatively reasonably at $5 each, but they were pretty gross. I should probably take off another star for these offenses but I guess I kind of expected it :) Parking is pretty easy since there are a bunch of parking decks nearby, and I think you can also find street parking. I did end up paying $10 to park in the Cabarrus Deck, but whatever. Overall, I would come back here to see a show, but I would definitely try to eat (and drink) beforehand.

Red hat has really great artists, mostly really uncomfortable seats (unless you are in the back…read morerows - those seats are nice), a teeny tiny lawn section, zero shade on hot or rainy days, very friendly staff, a mostly easy entrance experience, and a very limited bathroom situation. I'd like to give it a great review, as I go to a fair amount of concerts here and it's easy to get to, but honestly, in the summer for concerts I won't drink a single beer because I don't want to deal with the bathroom lines and it's sooooo hot. To their credit, they do have a lot of great food options though. Also, if you happen upon bad weather (calling for lightening specifically), they evacuate the whole venue and don't communicate well/often enough to figure out when to come back without missing the opener(s). Fun fact: you could watch the show from the parking deck across the street for $10 if you wanted to. I hope when they move they will work through the seating, the shade, and the bathroom issues.
