I feel compelled to share one story: the first Saturday after we moved back into our space, we noticed a small amount of water in our garage. I left a phone message to James and he was quick to respond. Literally 20 minutes later, there was a knock on the door, and it was the plumber. She quickly diagnosed a burst hose-bib and fixed the issue. The plumber also installed a separate shut/off valve so we could winterize the bib properly. He was straight forward and accurate about the timeline and cost during our first meeting. When I made changes during the project he gave an updated completion date and cost the next day. His employees were polite, professional, and cleaned up at the end of each workday. James had me create a login for builderpro that during the project kept me informed with daily updates and pictures. James warned of potential setbacks on the project and pictures were uploaded the same day they were found. The problem was resolved the next day and I was happy to see the employees posted pictures the same evening. Although the project was extended due to my changes it was still completed ahead of his original estimate by over a week (3 weeks from start to finish). He didn't answer my call every-time I had questions but I received a text that he would call me back before the end of the day if he was busy. Can't expect much more from an owner with dozens of current jobs and 40+ employees. A fantastic company to work with. Professional in every sense of the word - on time, knowledgeable, and finished our full home remodel ahead of schedule. My husband and I had interviewed upwards of seven construction companies and general contractors to remodel our 2,600 sq. ft. home, which we knew would not be an easy task, but we're so thankful that we found PLUÜM. James came over right away to examine our problem and we determined that the leak was coming from an exterior door frame and window that was located above the kitchen. James made recommendations for corrections that could be made to remedy the leak. Ultimately we decided to remove the upstairs door and window and replace them with one larger window. We also added a small roof and gutter over the downstairs kitchen windows. James got his team started immediately and James came by periodically to inspect the progress. James has a very critical eye for quality and if he saw an item that did not meet his standards those items were immediately corrected and made right. All in we are very satisfied with the work performed by Pluum Construction. The work areas were left clean and trash was removed from the site regularly. Final finishes were a spot on match for the original finishes. The final price was what we had originally agreed to. No end of project surprises. We have no problem recommending Pluum Construction to anyone and will use them again for future projects. read more

The project turned out to be much more extensive than initially expected requiring two full days of labor to complete. James quickly assessed that the work was going to be significantly more than our first estimate and was honest and upfront about additional costs before doing anything exceeding the estimate without my consent(which has not been the case with other contractors in my past).
