Went here to get matching sister tattoos for my sister's birthday and Sandra was the nicest person. She made several sketches to so what we liked and even texted me beforehand to make sure I knew how it would look like so I can think over it and make sure it's exactly how we wanted it. What I love most about Sandra is how easy it is to communicate with her. I reached out via instagram and I received a response even though the request form we fill out says to email for all inquiries. I took a training with Sandra for permanent jewelry after she had made me a few bracelets. I loved the service and wanted to learn for myself! Lucky for me she has a training on it! She was so kind and sweet but very informative, answering the million questions I had for her. Sandra is really good at what she does! My mom's friend went somewhere in Downey & her eyebrows looked crooked. Her other friend went somewhere in El Monte & they looked funky (the shape was off) & too dark for her skin tone. One of my friend's paid over $600 in Monrovia & she didn't like the results. A few weeks later my mom told me about Sandra. My other friend and her mom got their eyebrows done with her. I'm not a big fan of ombre or lamination /work on my eyebrows (personally). But when I saw theirs I actually really liked them. The shape was perfect, the color wasn't too dark or too light for their skin tone, the price wasn't too high. It's not cheap either, but you really do get what you pay for with Sandra! It was so easy to get an appt with her (for my mom). I messaged her on IG (last friday) because we had a few questions. She replied right away & answered our questions. She said she had a cancelation and asked if mom wanted to go in that Saturday. I sent her the deposit & it was booked! The next day I took my mom & went inside to check out the place and meet her. She was super friendly and made me feel my mom was in good hands. I explained what my mom wanted and the color she preferred. We filled out all the paperwork and I left. The place was nice and clean. I went back to pick up my mom & really liked her brows! She did such a good job!!!! Sandra explained the healing process and provided the aftercare instructions. She said to book the follow up appt within 6 weeks (depending on the healing process). When I started my ombré brows journey, it was completely overwhelming. The number of options, pricing, and types of permanent brow makeup methods were insane. My mom had gotten her brows done about five years ago, but her artist wasn't practicing anymore. So I took to Instagram as my main source of research for this brow journey. After chatting with several brow artists, I found that my vision of the perfect brow didn't necessarily align with their aesthetic. Luckily, I found Sandra back in June, after a month of solid searching, and I immediately recognized and appreciated her vision, professionalism, and timely responses to my questions. I had my first session done in early July, and as it was my first time, erred on the side of caution and had her do my eyebrows very lightly and on the thinner side. She applied numbing gel and the process was pretty close to being painless. After they healed (during which I mustered all the self control I had to not rip the scabs off!), I was already pretty satisfied with the result. I just had to fill in the front and tail very lightly, as I had requested a light touch. Today, I just followed up with my first touch-up, and I am even more pleased with the final shape and definition. I should also mention that I really appreciated Sandra's patience and understanding with my having to reschedule this appointment. Finally, a last detail I really noticed is how clean, well-lit, and new her facility is. The brow salon is housed in a building called Hue Artistry, which includes other makeup artists, hair stylists, and estheticians. Especially in the time of COVID, her attention to detail and high standard of hygiene is completely appreciated. I look forward to my annual touch-ups with Sandra! Ps. I've had a rocky relationship with my brows. They've gone from being so thin they looked like they were drawn in by a 0.5 lead pencil to looking like division signs you could do math on..smh. Thought I'd make my life easier by getting them microbladed four years ago but was left with two orange-brown lines on my forehead that were two different lengths, arches, and thicknesses after they healed and faded. This is probably one of the best decisions I've made in life! So satisfied with the entire experience and how my brows turned out! I've never gotten my brows done and getting ombre powder is a pretty big deal to me. Sandra made sure the entire experience went well. It is recommended to wear makeup when I first go in so Sandra can see how I normally do my brows. She then penciled it in to make sure I'm 100% good with the shape and had me check my brows several times to confirm. She was very patient even when I wanted to make changes and consulted the colors to me before proceeding to the actual procedure. Sandra was extremely helpful and explained every step to me which made me super comfortable. She also provided an aftercare kit to take home and explained the healing process. I scheduled my appointment ~3 weeks prior to my travel plan and it made my entire makeup routine so much easier! I made sure I had enough time to heal before taking off for my trip and my brows looked better everyday during the healing process.
