Ariel looks weird, mainly in the face…read more While I still enjoyed this ride and thought it was fun, the overall quality of the animatronics was a step below most other rides at Disney World. I thought maybe that was because this ride opened around the same time as the movie in 1989. However, I was a bit surprised to learn after the fact that this ride actually opened 23 years after the movie, in late 2012. On the ride, you board clamshells that take you on an adventure under the sea. Pretty much all the characters from the movie make an appearance and the ride is filled with Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's popular songs like "Part of Your World," "Under the Sea," "Poor Unfortunate Souls," and "Kiss the Girl." The "Under the Sea" song and dance segment is bright and colorful. It reminds me of going to E.T.'s planet in the E.T. Adventure ride at Universal Studios. It's a festive party; both rides have that neon-colored, crowded "creature party" aesthetic. During our visit, the animatronic Ariel in this section was broken and inanimate. Kind of funny and creepy. During the "Kiss the Girl" segment, the plastic water coming out of the fishes' mouths didn't look great. It added to the overall sort of "knock-off" and kitschy look of the ride. Also, right before the end of the final scene with King Triton and the wedding of Ariel and Eric, the ride stopped on us. So, I was able to get a good, long look at the different animatronics and scenery. Finally, I thought the transitions between the high-quality video and the actual practical physical ride props were a bit jarring. Other rides do it better like, for example, the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros at EPCOT. We had Lightning Lane passes at around 1:47 PM on a non-holiday Monday and experienced no line and no wait.

It is a slow moving ride that goes on a flat track and will move your clamshell 365 degrees, as well as going backwards and tipping backwards as well. It does not spin fast and as someone who gets motion sickness, you should be fine. The seat has a lap bar for the entire row and is not comfortable at all. It is a very hard bench. I find this ride becoming more of a favorite probably since it is super cute and the line is never very long. The line can get long at times, but I recommend waiting until the wait drops below 20 minutes. The line starts outside which has little shade and is very hot in the summer, but then moves inside, where the majority of the line is. Inside it is covered and much cooler. It is actually really dark inside and my eyes always have to adjust. This ride is very colorful, very musical and very fun. If you know this movie, you are going through the story quickly. There are a few dark areas throughout the ride as well as a couple of loud parts. This rides also "stops" as well. There is not a time we have been on this that it did not have a stop for a a minute or so. This ride is designed for children, however, as an adult, it is becoming a favorite of mine. It is nice long ride, that you can sit and relax. This is a must go in the summer for us! Cool, AC, sitting down, sign me up! I would recommend this ride but only when the line is 20 minutes or less. Otherwise, wait and come back later.

The ride is based off of Daffy Duck and the Three Bandidos. It's a cute and easygoing ride. Mexico is basically compact into this one building and another smaller restaurant across the way.

Great escape from the Florida heat! It's also one of my favorites due to the food and drink offerings. Wait time for food/drinks I feel is longer than other stops, but I think that's due to where they are located. Either way, that wait is worth it!

It never gets old either, especially with the tour of the ever-changing greenhouse which is the best part of the ride by a mile. In fact, my family has lovingly called the ride "The History of Vegetables" for a long time (and it still makes us giggle). Living With the Land is educational but also fun. If you're a gardener, you're going to love it. The ride takes you through greenhouses and experimental farms, showing off innovative agricultural techniques and sustainable farming practices. You get to see everything from hydroponic vegetables and towering tomato plants to aquaponics systems where fish and plants coexist. It's fascinating to watch how Disney combines science, technology, and creativity to grow food, and it really makes you think about where your own meals come from. Supposedly restaurants throughout the park serve items that are grown in the greenhouse, but I find that claim suspect. Still, I always find myself wanting to hop out of the boat and pick one of the super red tomatoes and yummy looking organic lettuces that are growing (don't do it or you'll get banned from the park)! The set design and narration are classic Disney and the ride pace is calm, which makes it a perfect mid-day break or a way to escape the Florida heat. There's rarely a line, and I wouldn't wait more than 15 minutes for this one (just come back later if it's super popular). The ride is definitely better during the daylight hours because you can see a lot more of the greenhouse. It's lit at night, but more difficult to see all the plants that are growing. Most of our friends think we are nuts for loving this ride as much as we do, but I swear we ride it at least 3 times a day whenever we visit Disney World.

From the giant stone slab with the island's motto welcoming you in, down to the smallest details, there is always something to notice and take in. We didn't get to see the flying dragons, which was a bummer, but there were still plenty throughout the land to check out. The rides were very on theme and the food was actually really good. It really felt like everything a Viking in training would want to explore. Getting to meet Toothless was such a highlight. He was so cute and honestly worth the hour long wait. At least most of it was in the shade, so I'll take that win. One small detail I really loved were the photo box stations. You just press a button, pose, and it snaps the picture for you. The backgrounds they capture are so good and it makes for such a fun memory. I still smile every time I look at mine. This was easily one of my favorite lands in Epic Universe and I'm so glad I got to experience it.

From an attraction standpoint, this section felt very thin for us. However, my children are much older and looking for things that have a bit more of a thrill to them. My oldest asked to attend the show, and although we waited a while alongside other families, after being on a long delay, the staff finally came out to say it was going to be permanently closed for the day due to technical difficulties. One highlight was the shops and one of them contained some really yummy treats. I found squares of fudge and the price prices were reasonable. I surprised my husband with chocolate peanut butter fudge. Overall, we didn't stay here too long and for a spot that stated there were dragons everywhere. We actually didn't see a lot of dragons everywhere. A bit of a letdown.

We also found a fantastic quick service, Pecos Bill. The nachos were fantastic and filling. If you come here more often and want to take some things slow, Tom Sawyer Island is also part of this western experience. Because the attractions are tucked away, this is a quieter spot to be.

Frontierland in Magic Kingdom is so much fun! It has multiple attractions in the themed area. It's…read morethemed based on the American Old West with rustic wooden storefronts and boardwalks. Recently, the riverboat was removed and the Rivers of America for the new addition of the Cars themed area. The land's most popular attractions include the following: Big Thunder Mountain: This is a runaway mine train coaster that plunges through red rock canyons, abandoned tunnels, and a mining town. The typical standby wait time averages between 30-45 minutes for this ride. It does accept lightning lane though! Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Lightning lane is accepted on this ride. It was recently reimaged to Tiana's Bayou Adventure. It is a water ride, and you will get wet! Even wearing a rain jacket, I got soaked! Standby wait times during the summer can get lengthy, up to an hour! Country Bear Jamboree: This show is great! I watch it every time I come to Disney World. The wait time is minimal. It's a musical show highlighting a lot of Disney themed movie songs, like Zootopia and a few other Country Bear Jamboree classics. There are a lot of shops and dining spots inside Frontierland. Those include Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn, Westward Ho, Golden Oak Outpost, Frontier Trading Post, and more! Some of my favorite snack places are at Westward Ho and Golden Oak Outpost. Their menu items change seasonally! You'll find Frontierland entrance from Main Street! This is a must visit and would recommend experiencing all of the rides/attractions while visiting Magic Kingdom!

The Reflections of China attraction is located in the World Showcase at Epcot in the China…read morePavilion. When entering the theater, you are immediately immersed in your surroundings. The Reflections of China consists of Circle Vision 360, essentially a completely circular room that has displays all the way around you. This is one of those formats that will make you more immersed than watching a traditional movie. Although at times this approach does work such as the grand sweep of the Great Wall or sweeping mountainscapes so much so that you literally feel like you're being surrounded by the sights you see. You get taken on an adventure throughout China to see some of the most well known attractions in each region. From major cities, to historical sites, and natural wonders, there's no shortage of interesting visuals! I would say its a very good location to stop by. Its air conditioned, indoor space with almost no waiting, so you can cool down inside the attraction and it makes a great spot to take a break from the theme park rides! I enjoyed the opportunity to stand still for a little bit, yet feel like I was doing something else in the theme park! I'm glad I had a chance to go to the Reflections of China attraction during my latest Epcot visit for the Springtime Surprise 2026 RunDisney event!

A Plus for this show! This is super underrated at EPCOT but for sure worth a stop. It is located in…read morethe China pavilion at EPCOT, and you do need a park ticket to visit. This is purely a show, which runs continuously throughout the day. It is located towards the back in the large temple you can see from anywhere in the pavilion. Once you walk inside the temple there is a display inside which is nice to look at and walk through. There are also benches inside before the theatre and sometimes Mulan is doing meet and greets here as well. Once inside the theatre, it is 360-degree theatre so there is not a bad seat. There are rows set up with dividers you can lean on, but don't sit on them. The movie basically takes you to China and makes you feel immersed. The screens are literally all around you so you can usually spin around to see it all or just look at a few of them. You can get pretty dizzy especially for those that get affected with moving images. It is usually not very crowded in here either. Since its never crowded, I usually sit right on the floor as do most others. They don't really tell you not to sit on the floor, they do tell you not to sit on the railings. If you can there are 2 benches towards the back, but it will block half the screens. The overall show is only about 12-13 minutes, but we love it. Especially in the summer. It is very beautiful scenery, air conditioned and educational all at the same time. I recommend this to anyone visiting the park.
