Delicious smoked brisket and pulled pork! The French fries are crisp and nicely seasoned. Wonderful friendly local restaurant.

We got there set down had some appetizers and we were told immediately that they were out of two items on the menu of which they're only about 10 items. Once we ordered service was not great as the waitress was looking past us and would not come to our table. Food when it came out was subpar for a venue like this. We had brought friends who were looking at possibly buying property and wanted to check it out but the experience them off maybe it was one off, the items were not that great such as the stirfry spaghetti and it was asked to put chicken inside that so there would be a protein. No chicken told about it once we finally got the waitress. She said oh we can go put chicken in it now, but that defeats the purpose if you were cooking a dish to order. Special was a Curry was OK but there was not much flavor at all. In the end, not sure if we could recommend anyone going there

I have eaten at least 6 times at the Wilderness Grille for lunch and dinner. The food and service…read morere amazing. The lunch hamburger was one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten, and the chef was even willing to tell me how she made it. The huckleberry wings are also delicious. For dinner, I've tried the lamb chops, panko crusted chicken, BBQ ribs, and a few of the special dinners like turkey and ham for Christmas. Everything is made from scratch and is delicious. The crispy green bean appetizer is my favorite. The chocolate tuxedo cake and bananas foster cheesecake are my favorite deserts. The chefs and staff are very friendly and attentive. My only complaint is they don't have a full liquor license to sell hard alcohol, but it is difficult and expensive to get a hard liquor license in this county. I want to try the breakfast sometime. I hear the breakfast is amazing. It is only a few miles outside of Eureka. If you go during the day, the view of the mountains is beautiful.

4.5 stars! We got a chance to try some bratwursts from Saucy Dogs by chance while driving thru and…read morestopping by the Columbia Falls Farmers Market last Thursday evening. We were intrigue by the variety of hot dogs that Saucy Dogs offered (mainly, the exotic sausages like elk and bison meat) that we are not used to having in the Pacific Northwest. Saucy Dog offers different types of hot dogs from kid size hot dogs and vegetarian hot dogs to the vegetarian as well as the elk and bison hot dogs (all of their hot dogs range roughly from $5-$11ea). They also serve their hot dogs in cute, folded license plate trays, also accompanying the dogs with a pickle spear. We tried their elk and bison dogs...and we both liked the bison hot dogs a little more than elk, partly because the bison meat was a little juicer than the elk. Also the sauce on the bison dog was less overpowering the taste of the meat. If you have a chance, definitely check them out. Based on the time that we spent at the Farmers Market, they seemed to be quite popular among the crowd.

YUM! We were walking around the weekly farmer's market when we came upon the food trucks and this…read moreone right away caught my eye. They have a good amount of dogs to choose from, I went with their chili dog with jalapenos. I'm not a chili dog person so I don't even know why I went with this option but I was glad I did! The dog was enormous and definitely very messy. Since there wasn't a table option I just found myself a spot on the grass and tried to devour this as nicely as I could. The food is served on bent license plates which I found to be really cool, nice and different. When you're done with your food you're asked to return them to the bus tub by the food truck. I had been looking at some other snacks I wanted to try but after this dog that was pretty much impossible. I hope to run into this truck again when I return for the summer.
