Poblanos is probably one of the better Tex-Mex places to get food in the area. Yet, that's not much of a compliment given the other choices. Nevertheless, my food was solid and the waitstaff was reasonably helpful and friendly. In the end, I can say I'd go back, which is something that I wouldn't say for many places in the area. read more

Went to Poblano's for the first time. I was excited as their reviews here on Yelp were great and they are packed every time I pass by. Immediately, we felt unwelcome and were met with employees who made us feel like we were a nuisance. I honestly wanted to walk out at that point but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to stay. The restaurant is a lot smaller than I expected but I noticed there was a cute separate bar area. Once we were seated at our table, our server (which I forget his name) provided us with incredible customer service. We ordered the Queso dip and yum! It was delicious. For my entree, I ordered the Super Nachos. It tasted like beans and chips. I was a bit disappointed. We probably won't be back. read more

My friend and I met at Poblanos today, eating on their covered patio (which also has fans, thank goodness) because I will not eat inside anywhere. They have taken out tables from the patio, so driving by, you may think that there is no social distancing. But there is -- just with fewer tables out there. This was my friend's first time to Poblanos, and I was happy to introduce her to their delicious food. Mauricio gave us great service, and I watched him provide excellent service to everyone in his station, on the patio. We had cheese dip along with our Ultimate Margaritas (soooooo smooth). I had a combo, and she had a burrito meal; pictures are included. It was a success in that my anxiety did not interfere with our meal since the restaurant employees are taking such precautions. I had forgotten my mask, and although we were eating outside, I wanted to use one, and the hostess brought me a disposable mask. Thanks to all for a great experience! read more

I went to this place yesterday because of the good reviews I saw on here. I was very disappointed in my experience here. Customer Service - Good I have no complaints about the service at Poblanos. Our drinks were always filled regularly and we were attended to often. Food - Fine The food was not great. Salsa tasted like it was canned. We ordered the guacamole for an appetizer and I don't know who told them it was good, but it's bad. It's just chopped up tomatoes and avocado mixed together. No lime juice. No pico de gallo. It was flavorless. The chips seemed like they were microwaved and old. I ordered the Tacos de Salmon. The taco was pretty disappointing. Inside the taco was a hunk of salmon, a slice of avocado, and chipotle sauce. That's it. The only thing that was holding it together was the sauce. The rice was pretty flavorless. The charro beans were good. The Mexican coleslaw was flavorless as well. My mom ordered the Burrito Del Mar. She said the only thing making it taste good was the cheese sauce. But it was pretty mediocre. Cleanliness - Good The restaurant was clean, so no complaints here. read more

I've never been to this place but my coworkers suggested this place. NOT IMPRESSED. If you've ever had horchata, you know what a good homemade batch tastes like. You will also know how the powdered, pre made KLASS( brand) horchata tastes like...you'd know it tastes like trash. Basically that's what was given to me. KLASS horchata. Grainy and way too sweet. $2.99 for a small. Come on guys. Not if it's pre made, powdered crap. I ordered their 3 tacos de asada combo and it was okay. The tortillas tasted like they were heated in a microwave. (TRUST ME I KNOW!) They were super soggy and doughy so I know they weren't cooked all the way. The only thing I truly enjoyed was their chips and salsa & rice and beans. If you want "authentic" go to a taqueria or close to it- go to La Parilla.
