Food was delicious! Between two grilled meat options, one beer, two sojus and a shared rice cake we spent over $150. Vibes are super fun, I'd like to come back with more people. Well decorated you feel transported to south Korea. Servers were attentive and answered all of our questions. I think it's cool they had cup pong definitely a fun place to come with friends for a special outing as it's not cheap!

I had no idea this place existed in Upper Darby. Great vibe. Good bar food. Service was good. The kimchi pancake, pork galbi and cheesy corn was really good as well as the fried rice cake (ddeok kko chi).

Brought my grandma here after an AEW show in the area just for a quick bite before our drive back to MD. We ordered Korean chicken wings (half and half soy garlic and spicy), corn cheese & sausage, and kimmari. Chicken was delicious and we received pickled radish, pickled chayote, and kimchi with our meal as well that were all so very tasty. The spicy chicken is definitely spicy and grandma did not have any but I enjoyed it myself. Corn cheese was tasty but I was surprised to see other vegetables in it as well! And loved the sausage on top. Kimmari were fresh, as far as taste goes - pretty standard, and I enjoyed them. Staff were really phenomonal and kind and I hope i can come back soon to try the BBQ menu!!

Me and a couple of my friends came here on a cold rainy evening. The place looked like it used to be a diner and gave those types of vibes but in a Korean street food way. One of my friends is gluten free so we got the two meats that were not marinated (the pork belly and the beef). Inside the place was super cute! Each table were decorated like street food tables in Asia. I really felt like I was transported to Korean to get some good food! The meats are good and fresh. It was a bit pricey but we split everything. We also go two orders of Korean fried chicken (soy garlic). Those boneless chickens were really good. I had to order a side of rice since they didn't give us rice with the banchan but it's all good. The staff was very nice and even helped us cook the food. We all had a great time and the food was excellent! Would love to return and try the different cuts next time :)

Pros: -good vibes for large crowds -attentive servers/owner -a lot of options (food) Cons: -meat needs more seasoning/flavor Will come back for the vibes.

First off, this unsuspecting place needs to be on your list, here's why: Once you step in, you're definitely transported to a cozy restaurant where you know you can just sit down and have an amazing meal. The atmosphere is inviting and every table is set up in a way that you're going to have an closer experience with your friends. Next, the service was amazing. Our waiter came by and took our huge order with ease and checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were fine. We were even approached by other staff to make sure we were fine. We didn't even have to ask for water refills, the waiters just came by and did it as soon as we ran out of water! The food was also top tier. The side dishes were plentiful, the wings were probably the best wings I've ever had compared to the usual places like Soho, BonChon, Tsao caa, the fish tofu stew was so good even though it was hot that I just downed several skewers easily. The corn cheese was also pretty good! The meat, from set A, however, weren't plentiful but enough to keep us so full that we didn't need anything else! The staff also helped us start cooking and then we did the rest on our own. I'd highly recommend coming by for the amazing food, amazing staff, and amazing atmosphere! Shout out to our waiter for giving two free bottles of soju for my birthday too!

We had the set special A with galbi, finger rib, inner ribeye, and spinallis. The finger rib was really good - flavoring is great and the meat is tender and juicy. Galbi is cut off the bone and is softer than what I expected. The other rib cultus were also good but not flavored so I preferred the finger rib and galbi. We also had the soy garlic Korean chicken wings and they were excellent as well. We didn't order any sides and I would say that we probably could have added another item, maybe more chicken wings or some more meat. Ambience is very cute. Each table is set off with clear curtains so it feels like you're in a little pod. Service is great. They also help you get started with the cooking. The restaurant has its own parking lot so parking is easy. Overall food is very good. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for Korean bbq in the PA area.

Love this place! It truly captures the vibe of Korean street food. Everything was great, except the meats--I wish they were fresher and of better quality. The staff were fantastic, and we had a blast with the sojuboom they made for us. Highly recommend if you want an authentic Korean street food experience!

The vibes here are immaculate and the service is great. I've been here a couple of times. It's my favorite Korean BBQ spot.

Before my review, let me address a few inevitable comments: 1. Yes, it's expensive. Find me a local kbbq place that isn't! Budget at least $50/person, more if you're drinking. They did not appear to have an all-you-can-eat option. 2. Yes, you have to cook the food yourself. That's part of the concept. If you don't want to cook your own food, eat at a different type of restaurant. Also, the things that are labeled as spicy are... actually spicy. Caveat emptor. 3. I do not know if they can accommodate your dietary restriction, or if they have high chairs. I didn't ask about vegan/gf options, which weren't labeled on the menu. I didn't see any kids or a kid menu. Anyway -- long story short, my husband and I really liked it and will definitely be taking friends and family here. The food: They specialize in trendier korean dishes that are hard to find at more traditional restaurants. The banchan (little side dishes) were flavorful and unique, and really help cut through the richness of the meat. My best bite was tied between a ssam (lettuce wrap) filled with bulgogi, spicy kimchi, and garlicky sesame sauce, and a clump of thinly sliced ribeye dipped in salt/pepper/sesame oil and eaten with a thin slice of raw garlic. The bbq meats also came with a few little piece of vegetables (broccoli, squash, onion), which empowered me to eat a massive plate of meat without any hesitation. We also tried the tteokkbokki which was spicy and addictive with pillowy rice cakes and a perfectly boiled egg. Next time I'd like to try the fried chicken, the stews, and pretty much everything else. Service: The waiter was helpful and friendly, and regularly checked on us to make sure we weren't burning anything. They have little buttons at each table you can press to call a waiter over, but we didn't really need it. The waiter also did a cool party trick with the soju that I can neither replicate nor describe. I noticed a couple phone mounts at tables, not sure what that's about--selfie station? mukbang equipment? Environment: The restaurant interior is fun and quirky without being overly polished, as it's designed to look like a street eatery. Each table has a vent/fan that extends down to grill to really capture all the smoke. They play kpop on the stereo system and it is a smidge loud, which could make communication difficult if you're hard of hearing. I got the vibe that it's a bit of a party atmosphere Friday/Saturday night, and I think it'd be a fun place to get a little sloppy on soju with friends. I took a few pictures, but didn't get one of the headless 12 foot skeleton in the corner. You'll have to go and see for yourself!

Pocha was PHENOMENAL! If you're looking for delicious food, excellent service, and immersive ambiance, look no further than here. Jae and Mun were so gracious, and gave us a KBBQ experience like we'd never had before; I was definitely fangirling over the atmosphere, like we were in the heart of Seoul or something. The meats, the cheese corn and sausage, and the side dishes were chefs kiss, and neck and neck with how well we were looked after. So, do yourself a favor, and go to Pocha! You won't regret it, and you'll feel spoiled by Jae and Mun.

First time back at Korean Grill House since the remodel. A lot has changed such as the decor, foods, and style of Korean bbq. If you are looking for a cool place to eat at, this is the spot as they solely do charcoal grill, which adds extra flavor, and an a la carte menu. A lot different from the previous set up. The small dishes are pretty unique including the cheesy corn and scallion salad. They no longer have the japchae(which will be missed) or pork bulgogi. When I went, we ordered beef bulgogi and galbi. The charcoal is kinda scary if it pops up at you, but the flavor is pretty good. The food was going well until a miscommunication caused half the bulgogi to burn due to the temperature being ip too high and the bulgogi not being spread out enough. The decor is a industrial look with lots of metal and open space. I felt kind of exposed. Very different from before with the more private booths. Overall, the meal was alright. I really miss the old style of this place and their other food options that they no longer have. The redo is definitely nice, but very different. I do recommend this spot if you are looking for a unique and uppity experience.

Corn cheese and Ddeok Bbok Ki(Spicy Rice Cake)
    Brandon S.

Food was amazing. The meat quality is superb. The whole restaurant has only one server so it might get slow. I'd skip the rice cake and corn cheese though. It's a bit pricey for what you get. The decor is interesting. The tarp makes you feel like you are eating on the streets of South Korea. The only thing is the pricing: it was around 60 a person so it can't be a regular dining spot for us. Would def come back tho. The soups look good.

The location is a bit awkward because there isn't convenient handicap parking directly in front of the entrance, which could make things a little challenging for some guests. I recommend dropping people off who have mobility issues first then park. Our party was held in the private area in the back, but it's not truly private since there isn't a door, it's more of an open corner section of the restaurant. Because of that, it was pretty loud with the jumbo TVs going and regular diners nearby. I've been to the PJ Whelihan's in Blue Bell, and their private room had doors and felt more separated from the rest of the restaurant, which helped with noise. That said, the Wynnewood location has a huge bar and tons of big-screen TVs, so it definitely has that fun sports bar vibe. The food for the party was good overall, although it wasn't served very hot. The buffet included Caesar salad, rolls, sweet potato fries, potatoes, broccoli, crab cakes, salmon, and chicken parmesan. The salmon was a bit overcooked and slightly dry, likely from sitting out for a while, but the rest of the items were ok. Soft drinks were included, while alcoholic beverages were purchased separately at the bar. I also want to give a shoutout to Lina Morgan and the manager Shannon, who were all very helpful and attentive to our group throughout the event. One thing to note if you're planning a party here: they don't allow take home containers for leftover buffet food due to food safety concerns since the food sits out and temperatures fluctuate.
