I look over their drink menu and order my standard Bulleit Rye Old Fashioned which is one of their "Classic Cocktails" on their menu. Our waitress was super friendly and stopped to chat with us more than once to make sure we were taken care of. My Old Fashioned came out and it was made well. Not too sweet or too much bitters....just right. Overall, I really enjoyed the evening on the patio and have to remember to stop here more often. Next time it will be for lunch to get a great burger.

First of all, they no longer offer chips and salsa! Margaritas and chips and salsa are the binge food of most San Antonians, but not at Bays anymore! Also, goodbye to Scotch eggs. The nachos, which used to be a glorious gathering of refried beans and cheese, are now tiny chips with strange black beans scattered over them and lightly topped with some unidentified cheese. Barely edible. Thank God they didn't mess with the chili, although when I asked for chips with my chili, I was told there were none. The nachos were made with chips, but I couldn't get any for my chili. I then asked for crackers, expecting at least some saltines. Nope, I got wheat thins. And the frozen margaritas are now snowcones. If there is tequila in them, I couldn't taste it. Our server kept claiming he was "new" so he couldn't answer our questions about the menu changes. But he was quick to point out that he worked for tips when he brought us the check. All in all, this was a VERY disappointing experience. Whoever is running Bays now has badly missed the mark on practically everything that made Bombay Bicycle Club what it once was. And that is so very sad.

I opted for the "Ale Niño" made right here in San Antonio! The bartender informed me that this draft would soon be hard to come by. Something to do with licensing or manufacturing I can't quite remember. In any matter, it was SOUR but just what the doctor ordered! The bar has a bit of a spacey theme? Black lights, neon signs. Overall clean, spacious and unassuming. Great place to relax. I was also told that the kitchen was closed on Wednesdays. Which means I'll be coming back... And hopefully adding a star!

The initial event was perfect because there was enough space for everyone to move around and mingle after. For Karaoke the stage was perfect and the dj gave time in between singers with music so everyone was dancing and feeling the vibe. The staff was great and seemed in a great mood. A couple downsides, the bar has a small food menu so wish it was larger, they only had 2 bartenders so it would have been nice with 1 or 2 more and they kept leaving the side door open and it was pretty cold that night. Overall, had a good time and would definitely come back to watch a Spurs game, for sure.

Bentley's Bar has a covered outdoor area with picnic tables, heaters, bar, and swings! On Wednesdays, it's happy hour all night with $5 Crown, $7 Patron, and $3 well drinks. Dad had pineapple juice, hubby had the $3 Coors Light, and I had the well drink and Crown with peach and apple. Josh was serving at the bar and took good care of us. @eatwityoeyez opened at 7pm and we ordered our food to give them a try. They also have a resident cat, Bentley, a mixed Siamese cat!
