In quite the contrast to the giant raceway that dominates the area, a farmers market and brunch spot has sprouted up along the roadside. The items that were on sale were either grown on the premise in the giant greenhouses behind the shop or sourced from local companies. Plus marks for also having a wide array of CBD products. In the world of farm to table as chic there are many imitators...this on the other hand presents itself as the genuine article from the goods in the baskets to the people at the counter. The casual feel made it much more like a friends kitchen than a whole foods factory supermarket. read more

This place has simply some of the best food in the Poconos. I highly recommend their burger. It's rather large but everything is cooked and flavored to perfection. The tomato jam on it sounded odd to me at first but it compliments the melody of flavor and just puts it over the top as one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Everything else I've eaten there has been fantastic as well. The staff is extremely friendly. My wife and I asked for a tour of the farm and they kindly without notice gave us a very nice informative tour of their facility. It's such a neat unique place with food that is above and beyond anything else in the area. If prices were double what they are I feel they would be justified. read more

I didn't take any photos but we stayed at harvest host with them and I got the chocolate covered strawberry smoothie. It was so good, we were driving down to Nashville and drove a half hour out of our way to go back. I got the blueberry cobbler smoothie this time and it tastes just like it's named, like you can taste the crumble part too. 100/10 read more

We waited 1 hour for 2 kids meal and 2 burgers. When the food finally arrived everything was burnt. One of the staff(an older woman in a white coat who appeared to be one of the owners) asked how everything was. We showed her the items and explained it took from 1:00-2:00 to get our food. She did absolutely nothing. No acknowledgement, apology, hey here's a free smoothie for your next visit...nothing. I wouldn't recommend this place. Great new spot- so close that we were able to walk/hike over from our Brier Crest Woods neighborhood via a connecting trail (Schochs Mill Rd). Love that they serve La Colombe coffee. One of few places in the area with true "foodie" options. They need more outdoor seating though- only ~5 tables (some without even umbrellas, brutal in summer), when there is room for at least 10 or 15 tables out front (basic picnic tables + umbrellas are cheap to purchase). We wanted to sit outside to drink our coffees but had to leave as there was no seating for us, and others were waiting for a spot as well. read more

Food here is just incredible. Everything is insanely fresh and the flavors are immaculate. My friend and I came to visit from NYC and this was the only organic food/cafe we could find so it's a total gem! Staff is so kind, the place is beautiful, and their coffee is so good too. This burger was absolutely the best burger I ever had and there wasn't even meat it in!! Love the quality of the fresh veggies and plants. Doubt I'd eat at the market again. Ordered a BLT from the specials menu. For $14, the homemade potato chips were much too salty. We were unable to eat them and tossed them out. The bacon in my BLT, and I adore bacon, was also too salty to eat. I'm not a picky eater. I tossed aside the bacon and ate half my sandwich containing bread, lettuce, tomato and avocado. These are tough financial times and I expect better. I doubt I'd order from the market again and that's very disappointing to me. For an organization that focuses on healthy products, why would any food contain so much excessive salt. read more

i thoroughly enjoyed my meal at pocono organics! headed up to the poconos last weekend to do some racing at the pocono raceway and we passed by this spot, so we stopped in for some lunch! the place is super cool and has an amazing story. its a farm focused on growing REAL organic fruits and veggies which they sell in their market and make meals with in their cafe. their head chef is even a chopped champion which is super cool! theres so much more to their amazing story and i had a great time speaking to the workers about it and i definitely recommend asking when you head to this spot. as soon as you walk in it smells absolutely incredible. not only do you smell all the food cooking, but you can really smell the raw veggies in the market!! if we were heading straight home i 100% would've bought some to bring home! we tried the crispy chicken sandwich, the grilled chicken sandwich, and some cool organic sodas that they sold in their market! everything was delicious!!! the one thing i will say is that we waited quite a while for our food. granted everything IS made to order so it will take a bit longer, so definitely be sure you have enough time when you stop in here! overrall, i had an awesome experience at pocono organics and i will back every time im up in the poconos!! read more

At first I ordered biscuits and gravy but then after paying I was told it was sold out. I was given 2 other vegan friendly options, I went with the farmers hash . When it was brought out to me I really could not believe it. Very small portion of potatoes and onions sitting in a pool of grease. Should be ashamed for even serving this. read more

After driving past their signs for months, I finally decided to go in during their posted business hours to check out the produce. Was stopped by a woman in the parking lot telling me they couldn't sell to the public that day because they had a wedding. The wedding clearly wasn't starting yet because there were no other cars in the lot. They didn't ask me what I wanted, just turned me away. So you're turning away paying customers and you're a relatively new business in the area? Parking is weird too. A sign points you to an unpaved muddy lot down the hill from the building. Then there's another entrance that takes you up to the top lot where it's paved parking...but there's no connection between the two so you have to go back out into traffic to get onto the paved part. So if they were having a wedding that day and the upper lot was full, were they expecting people who are all dressed up to walk through the mud and climb the grassy hill to get indoors? You couldn't sell me a few fruits because you had a wedding happening in a few hours? It was just a very weird experience/vibe. I was less than impressed and probably won't go back. read more

I am very patient, especially during Covid and a Holiday Weekend.We discovered this place after checking out the Amish market. It's adorable. BUT... We waited almost an hour for a pre-made yogurt parfait, chicken nuggets and a sandwich. We were there for takeout. I asked after 30 minutes if there was something wrong and they assured me it was being made. A few couples who ordered after us got their food. I noticed the manager going from table to table and politely mentioned we were there for now 45 minutes waiting on three small items. I told her I understand and am not trying to be a naggy customer. I was apologizing for their delay. She came back out ten minutes later with my food. Handed it to me. I said thank you.She turned and said nothing. No apologies, thank you for your patience, thanks for your patronage. Just had a look that I was being a pushy out-of-towner which is anything but the truth. The food was good. I won't knock it. Was it worth an hour waiting for a mushroom sandwich and chicken nuggets ?(they forgot the dressing -- whatever but I should point that out) I wouldn't be writing this review except that the fact the manager just handed me my food and sent me on my way with not so much as a thank you... I used to work in customer service in various capacities. When there's a food delay of this size, at the very least, you show your customer appreciation for the wait. It's really easy. A few words. Those few words would've been appreciated. Whoever the manager is, I hope she reads this...You need to brush up on your customer-skills because what you left our family with was a bad impression that means we won't recommend your place to anyone who visits the area. This place is a TRUE GEM. Open for only seven weeks, their food is on another level. The sausage egg n cheese is mouthwatering, served with a side of watermelon to even out the palate. The short STAK pancakes come with an insane homemade jam and creme fresh. The home fries are just the right amount of fried, salted, and spiced. Ordered the vegetarian mushroom sandwich - loved the choice of hen-of-the-woods mushrooms instead of a traditional portobello type of mushroom you'd normally find on a sandwich like this. The addition of the hot honey and truffle made it a really unique sandwich - fresh chips on the side were great too. Prices are on par with what you'd expect from any organic type restaurant/cafe - friendly service, picked up a few veggies as well and a kombucha. I love that this company has a goal of healthy and fresh organic food for generations to come. We viewed the empty property and listened to the plans for a future business... two years ago We visited again this weekend and we were amazed by the growth. The fields are extensive. They are all being naturally prepped for future organic fruit and vegetable crops. All the soil testing they spoke of back then is ongoing and they are beginning to see a return with delicious farm to table produce. They are actively hiring a small army of seasoned farmers to fill these fields and work the land. To get that all rolling - they built incredibly huge greenhouses to hire and train additional future farmers and test the seed types for the best tasting yield. The beautiful, colorful crops were impressive. Hearing and seeing the excitement in the farm directors words made our visit fun. Now...that new market! Everything we purchased in the market was delicious. I ate salads all weekend and looked forward to the next one. I felt good about my food choices. I was eating healthy and not skipping flavor. I took long relaxing CBD bath bomb baths with the CBD products developed on site. I drank the best organic coffee brewed right in the store. I ate incredible breakfasts with unbelievable portions in the store cafe. The chef and head baker are truly talented ladies. We met so many hardworking and friendly employees in both the greenhouses and the store. If your in the area...stop by, grab some breakfast, order two coffees , pick salad fixings and some vegetables for dinner and oh yeah...dont forget the bath bombs!
