I am whole foods plant-based, although sometimes I cheat. If I lived closer to this place, I would never cheat. Everything is amazing and the caring and kindness with which it's made makes it even better. I love this place and wish I didn't live over an hour away. The most UNUSUAL menu in the area! If you are looking for RIDICULOUS! healthy...try this raw food. I stopped on the square near the Kirby for lunch with a few friends. Not really equipped for inside dining here. I recommend take out. That being said, the food was different but EXCELLENT! Service was exceptional, taking the time to explain process and ingredients. I'm a huge meat aficionado, sampling BBQ, tacos, and steaks on four continents and numerous islands, countries, and states. So when the restaurant with the highest star rating was vegan, I was intrigued. I chatted with the owner, and he recommended the tacos. I placed an order, and was blown away. If I had not known that they were vegan, I likely would not have guessed. They tasted better and meatier than some of the tacos I've had out there, and that is impressive. Enchanted by the magic, I decided to try the tuna. While quite good, I could definitely tell that it was not tuna. I then chowed down a couple of the chocolate cookie dough balls, which while a bit dry, were delicious with a gulp of water. If I am ever in the area, I'm certainly coming back, as great food without the guilt, is a great thing. What is even more impressive, is that 6 hours later, I still did not feel hungry. I wish they would franchise, and open up nationwide, as the the place would do really well anywhere. read more

My daughter always brings me to vegan restaurants and every time I think, here we go...more crunchy granola food..and every time I get way better than I expect. This place says it all for itself. I have never seen any restaurant with so many 5 star reviews. The place is adorable, makes you feel like you are at home eating. We tried so many different things...a avotiser, quesadilla and a BLT...yep, vegan bacon folks. You will see what they are on the menu, but the avotiser is an avocado taco, delish...the vegan bacon is made with eggplant. I was so impressed with the operation...all these food dehydrators line the kitchen and when they are making it , the whole place smells like bacon. The flavoring is just like it and texture is almost like the real thing. I love real bacon but avoid it because of the calories and nitrates, but you can go crazy with this stuff. read more

Such a nice find. I'm a vegan but don't have much experience with raw food. The food is interesting. It's a whole different thing than we are used to, but it's pretty tasty. The people are very, very nice here and the prices are based in reality, which is nice. Sometimes these raw food places are super expensive for not a lot of food. I had the "cheese sandwich," which really isn't a sandwich at all, but more of a big cracker with lots of really tasty fresh food on top. Loved it. Surprisingly filling too. Apple based juices are amazing. Banana based smoothies are thick and sweet. This area needs a place like this. Where else can you get a $17.00 glass of quality juice? A jar? A pouch? Don't forget he puts quality filtered water in his smoothies to give you that perfect level of thickness required by a true smoothy artist(not too thick). Ask for your drinks to stay at the restaurant and save landfill garbage by getting it in a mason jar or order some of his imported cashews in a to-go pouch. In one word VALUE. You get what you pay for. If health and vitality opened a restaurant it would be a lot like this one. This place is growing and expanding because of the benefits it brings to the community. So happy to find a raw vegan place here while on vacation! The team was super friendly and recommended yummy juices. Per yelp's recommendations, I got the tacos, and they did not disappoint!! Walnut meat with a vegan cream sauce and fresh tomatoes. We brought my great uncle because he loves fresh veggies and he loved it. The books, games, and piano bring a homey laid back feel. We actually had to double back because I forgot my purse and the ladies had saved it in the back and made sure I matched the ID. Wonderful food. Wonderful team. Wonderful atmosphere. I had to drag my wife here, as she isn't a big raw food fan. However, she had the tacos and absolutely loved them! I had the nucleus burger which was also delicious. The zucchini bread bun was amazing. Both staff members also checked on us to make sure everything was good. Probably the most interesting spot in Luzerne County. 100% Raw, Vegan, Organic, Gluten free, and soy free. Everything is made from scratch. Smoothies are hands down the best in the area, and probably best in on the east coast honestly. The food is very good, but probably unlike anything you've had before so don't be scared to try it. Tacos. Raw tacos. Raw tacos that are crunchy and delicious. Crunchy as in the chew but also crunchy hippie. Honestly, I don't know this area but didn't expect this jam in my pass through. We got a few smoothies (which were at discount for Christmas in July) some veg burgers.... and the tacos. Those crunchy delicious tacos. There are some books and puzzles around the quaint, cozy sitting area that I definitely fooled around with. I could see myself here again to try some of their other foods as it took me quite some time to make a decision, even with their help. I would probably recommend the tacos. read more

Sorry, but this place stinks. Literally....like old bananas. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even if they were vegan. Fruit flies everywhere. My "burger" was like eating raw bread dough with a mixture of seeds and milk. It was awful. The flavor was worse. It tasted like the smell of school paste. The idea of fresh, vegan, raw foods is great, but this just wasn't good. read more

By far the best vegan/raw food restaurant I've been to, and I'm from California (where they are on every corner). Every meal I've had is phenomenal. And the prices are unbeatable for the quality of food. The service staff is so friendly and helpful. Ask for the buffalo sauce, it goes well with just about everything. read more

Hands down, this is my favorite vegetarian / raw / vegan restaurant. It's really tasty, healthy food that you feel so good about eating. Absolutely delicious! On our last visit we ordered two of the build a dish w/avocado on a bed of greens, an avotizer and a quesadilla. Everyone there is always super friendly and helpful. It's super hard not to order one of everything off of the menu. Try the mini coconut macaroons at the counter. They're always great. The smoothies are also wonderful.
