A nice bar and grill on a remote road far from everythiing else.There is nothing to complain here and this looks like a great place to catch a game or two and kick back with the locals. while there is not much in of beer selection there is a great atmosphere and the layout of this bar is decent enough and unique. The staff is nice, but food is not up to standard. I realize they are short handed, but the boneless wings we ordered could not be picked up with a fork because they were so over cooked. The bartender was told and just ignored it. We ate them cuz we were hungry and the inside meat was not dry. The training boss bought us a beer after asking how the food was. We stayed at a hotel near this grille, and weren't sure about trying it bc of some of the other reviews. I went along with my husband and kids, one being a very picky eater! We were with some friends trying to decide where we wanted to go get some dinner. Everyone began throwing out ideas, and ultimately we decided that we all wanted to try someplace none of us had been to yet. Upon searching places online in our area, we came across Point After Pub & Grille. I really enjoyed the sports theme of the place when we walked in. There are many unique and memorable pieces of sports memorabilia that I had fun checking out. Looking at the menu at a place you've never been to can be quite the task. I wanted to try everything at Point After! I ended up going with the fried chicken dinner. This was a great choice! You get four pieces of fried chicken (leg, wing, breast, thigh), green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, dinner roll with butter, and a choice of an extra side (I chose the coleslaw). This was an incredible amount of food for around $13!!! Everything was delicious. I loved the crispiness and flavor of the fried chicken. The meat was moist and flavorful. The beans were fresh and the roll was soft. The only complaint I would have would be that the mashed potatoes seemed overly dense. Overall we all agreed that we really enjoyed our meals at Point After, and can't wait to go back to try more! read more

After waiting for an hour for my food, 2 couples sitting near me, both ordered food +/-5 minutes of me, received their food, ate, settled up, and I'm still sitting there with no food. They finally went to check on my order and a waitress came back saying it's going to be a bit still. There were hits and misses but the overall experience was good enough that I will be back. I'll start with the misses. My husband and I stopped in around 8 and waited to be seated. After standing around for five minutes without even a look in our direction, I walked up to the bar - where I waited another 2-3 minutes before getting the bartenders (bartendress? either way, crabby lady) attention. When I said we were waiting to be seated she replied with a sarcastic comment that I found quite rude. I walked back to the entryway and we waited another five or more minutes before someone came to clean off a table and seat us. After we were seated we got lost in the shuffle. More than ten minutes pass. I started looking for another restaurant to go to on my phone. Luckily the host remembered that he forgot us and ran over to get our order in and bring us drinks. Now the hits. Jacob was frantically apologizing to us the whole night. He thanked us for being so patient and even gave us a discount for the hassle. I will add here that neither my husband or I outwardly expressed disgust in the near half hour wait because we could see it was busy. I fully understand the position of an employee in an understaffed business on a busy day. Jacob did everything just fine and dealt with the pressure like a champ. The food we ordered tasted really good, which I didn't expect from such a busy and confused place. Unfortunately they were out of wings, which I really kind of wanted, but we ordered sandwich plates and had an appetizer. Everything was hot, fresh and well seasoned. I liked the sports bar atmosphere, even though you see it almost everywhere these days. Despite the lack of help, it was still kept quite clean everywhere, even the bathrooms. The place is well lit and the music wasn't obnoxiously loud. It's also much larger inside than I had expected, which is another reason we probably got lost in the shuffle. Went for the first time since it was Hanleys. I think the inside looks great. The updates and remodels they did look good. We were seated right away and had Amy as our waitress. She was super friendly and knowledgeable. We had the cheese curds for an appetizer which were great. We all then had the fish fry. It was light and flaky. Really enjoyed it. A welcomed eatery and sports pub in Franklin. Truly they have out done the entire facility with state of the art TVs throughout - tuned to football, soccer, and other sports. The food is as good as their decor - excellent. Excellent pub grub and more. Service is friendly but the wait was an issue for many tables-evident only because we heard them complaining before we even placed an order. BUT The curds were terrific as was the poutine!!! The ribs were delicious, the coleslaw had ALL THE DILL IN THE UNIVERSE in it (not my thing), and unfortunately my friend dumped his beer in my beans so can't tell ya about what I didn't have. The chicken blt sandwich and overtime burger were delicious as well according to my friends who devoured their plates. Except for the fries. The 'seasoned' fries aren't seasoned with anything beyond salt, as an FYI. We'll try again when the buzz has died down a bit or order carry out for sure. read more

Went there for the first Time and had the worst experience. My chicken In my food wasn't cooked good. I let her know and she took away my food and brought our bill (which still had my meal on it). When I had walked outside with our baby (who was super squirmy) and had went to come back in our table wAs already cleaned. There was nothing left on the table even though my daughter still had food and I still had a full drink. I don't think I will be coming back. I came home starving and thought we had Bad customer service. read more

My fiancé took me here on Friday and we came about 4:30. We didn't have to wait for a table which was nice. The atmosphere was nice. Staff was very pleasant! Restaurant was clean and had a variety of things to choose from. We were told the artichoke bites were a must and they did NOT disappoint :). We both got the perch and it was excellent. The only complaint I can think of is as it got later and you began a wait, people were piling in and crowding around our table by the games in the corner. Awkward. My husband and I recently met some friends here for dinner. This place is a nice addition to the Franklin area. When we walked in, it still had that new building smell to it. We were greeted and seated right away. I was never here when it was still Hanley's, so I can't compare Point After to them. But I can definitely say that the staff here is friendly, and the service was excellent. There are plenty of televisions throughout for watching games and other sporting events. The food menu is what you would expect for a sports bar: burgers, wings, wraps, assorted appetizers, etc. Having had a late lunch the day we were there, I did not have any of the food (I stuck to wine instead). However, my husband did have the build your own burger, and thought it was very good. Point After has a nice drink selection as well. Whether you're in the mood for a beer, a glass of wine, or a mixed drink, they have you covered. I definitely want to make another trip here so I can try some of the food. read more

Was here on business. Was right across the street from my hotel, nice short walk away. Went here 3 times in 2 days. Had the Ribs, Chicken Alfredo, and the Fish Fry thing. All delicious. My only complaint is that i'm 6'7" 200lbs and I almost wanted a second Fish Fry thing when I was done with it. I can eat more than your average person though and when i'm hungry I can eat 2 12" Subway subs as an example. It was only $13 so getting 2 isn't out of the question at all when it comes to price. I was on my lunch break and so I didn't have the time to get a 2nd one. It was my favorite item out of all 3 I had though. I actually had it twice. The light breading is awesome, whatever it's made out of. I thought the service was great, very friendly staff. Nice establishment. No real complaints at all. read more

Was super happy to see this new updated place! It looks nice inside. It's obvious that people are looking to have a new place to go in this area. The atmosphere; crowded. It's loud in the whole place, the sound level makes it hard to converse. Now on to the food- it's below average. The service was awful. Could not be get cocktails at our table. Point After wasn't too busy when I went, but the service was a bit slow. My friend had the special prime rib sandwich and I had the buffalo chicken salad. Both had good portions of meat and I enjoyed my salad. Good value, but the servers seemed a bit overwhelmed. read more

Interesting that things have been scratched from the menu in such a new place, but things change very quickly in business. Hopefully they'll order or have already ordered some new menus. Looks like they were attempting to go for an upscale sports bar environment, the décor is nice and fits the Milwaukee sports theme. The prices were very fair in my opinion with most items between $10-15. The food was of fair quality but seemed to be your typical food service brand stuff. Didn't give the vibe at all of being freshly made it anything. It's the type of place you could meet some friends watch a game, have a couple beers and maybe grab some food too. I'd probably try it again now that my expectations are lower. The way it's built and looks I think it makes you expect more than maybe I should have. Good luck to the new owners. read more

My wife and I come here very, very often. Lately, the service has been very subpar and the food is taking an unusual amount of time. Not sure if they are short staffed in the kitchen but it is not reasonable to be waiting such a long time for easy orders(cheeseburgers) My wife asked for a water and 20mins went by and we see our server gossiping by the soda machine and it was never brought. First of all, it takes a LOT for me to make a complaint... just not worth the energy, but this place was just beyond bad. Food was ok, nothing really spectactular to go back for but not bad either so there's that at least. Absolutely the worst service I've ever had at any kind of restaurant or pub. At all costs, avoid sitting at the bar to eat if you're going to go there. Not only did getting served take forever, the bartender would rather do a multitude of other things rather than make any contact with you after you DO finally get served. Tried all we could to get his attention.. he just ignored us. After more than 15 minutes after we were set and trying to get his attention so we could get out of there, we stopped the greeter and asked for her help to get us to-go containers and our bill and she said she couldn't do anything about the bill because the bartender was the owner's son. RIDICULOUS. After ANOTHER 10 minutes of trying to flag him down, we finally told the greeter if she doesn't get the bill we're leaving without paying. I've been coming to the restaurant for several years especially for Packer games. Today was the worst experience ever. Server never gave his name, was extremely slow, no manager or owner around so no raffle or quarterly pool. Just horrible all around. Food was awesome as usual but all else has not met expectations. The customer service in this place has really gone downhill over the past year. I used to love this place. Old manager Andy was always waiting tables he was out skating how people were doing. Someone always greeted you and if busy they'd let you know they'd be with you shortly. Now, who knows where or who the manager is. The wait staff is just absolutely horrible. Myself and the couple next to me had to ask for a food menu at the bar. And then 15 minutes later ask to order (mind you 6 people in the whole restaurant they weren't busy). The bartender was on her phone the whole time. Just really let down by this place. I used to come in at random times and there were always a couple tables taken up. Now whenever I come in it's dead. I met a friend here for a late lunch. Neither of us had ever been there before. There were two people sitting at the bar and one bartender when we walked in. We had no idea what to do and the bartender ignored us. We walked into the dining room and sat down. After about 15 minutes a server came over. This place advertises gluten-free items. I asked the server about gluten-free options. She said she had no idea what gluten was or what was gluten free. That did not make me feel safe about eating their food at all (it's not easy having to eat gf for medical reasons). Being the only two people in there the service was really bad. We ate lunch at the restaurant today. This was not our first visit. We have had great food and service on our other visits. Today I am sorry to say how disappointed I was with my lunch choice. I had the BLT lunch special. My sandwich arrived and looked good. Nice thick toasted bread. Then the disappointment came. The sandwich had only two small slices of bacon on it. They where regular thin bacon slices. They did not even cover the bread. I paid $9 for my sandwich. That seemed rather expensive for 2 little pieces of bacon! Not sure if I will go back now. My wife and I went in to have a drink with some friends. At the end of the night multiple bills were added to our bill even though the bartender knew the patron (s) who had not paid their bill. This isn't over the top and there's not a lot wrong. We attended with two toddlers in mid-afternoon and the service was great. They took kids' orders right away so that they were not sitting and waiting too long. Decent sized portions, waitress checked on us adequately, and we were happy with getting out. I've also been here with the guys just for drinks. Mediocre on tap selection - wish they had a few more craft and/or IPA's on tap. Prices are average for the area. Fantastic place to watch a game! This is our second visit and watching the Packer game. Great menu including a kids menu. Great appetizers, sandwiches, build your own burger, entrees and salads. My personal favs are the cheese curds and artichoke bites for appetizers and the build your own burger (love that they have chicken and turkey options). There is not a bad seat in the house with TVs where ever you are seated. Food had been consistent and tasty for both of our visits....we will definitely be back! read more
