Service was terrible. There were three large parties on a Wednesday night which was causing some issues but the restaurant was still accepting reservations and walk-ins. If a place is not staffed appropriately, it is bombing the rating by allowing more and more patrons. Our waitress forgot one of our drinks, almost didn't take our food order, and served the group next to us twice as fast as our table. Bar menu is mostly gin cocktails with 2 mezcal/tequila options. With a darts theme I expected at least a bourbon/whiskey option. Burrata, cheese curds and nachos were well prepared. No issues but no outstanding items either. read more

Point & Feather is a great new spot in the neighborhood! Awesome vibe for after work cocktails and some darts with your buddies. I haven't eaten a full meal here yet but the appetizers are pretty solid. Seating is incredibly hard to come by, not because it's limited but because each time I've been it's just filled with a lot of people. So be prepared to stand, but hopefully you get lucky! I hear there are decent happy hour deals, but I can't speak from experience. Guess I'll have to come back to find out for myself! read more

First, my male friend who is South Asian was asked for a $20 cover charge fee even though all the white men were being given entry without any charge. Second, my friend and I who are also South Asians were asked to leave the bar stating that we had "bad odor". I hosted my sister's surprise party here this previous weekend. It was effortless and easy to help plan this party with Josh, the general manager. During our party Adam, I believe another fellow manager or AGM, helped us out as well and did an amazing job. Serving and bartending staff was gracious to our party. Dart lounge was clean and well presented. Mini chicken and burger sliders, bruschetta and stuffed mushrooms were the rave of the party. Will be back!! read more

The reception to the restaurant/bar shocked me last night . I've had good and bad experiences however this was unacceptable . We decided to grab a drink after a delicious meal at hub51. On reaching the door we were informed that since we didn't have a reservation they were unable to accommodate us-fair enough. Totally understand however while we stood out talking to each other trying to figure out where we should head next I noticed that people who had no reservations were showing their id and waking in . On enquiring about this the guy at the door who was extremely uncultured started shouting and said extremely rude things which I was taken a back with. I brought a team of 20 coworkers to P&F for a Thursday night team outing ... and man, am I glad we picked this place! We called ahead to reserve a great private-ish area (thanks David) and pre-order larger quantities of the menu items. Winning entrees were crab corn dogs, fries, Brussels sprouts, burrata toasts and the cheese platter. Wait staff was very attentive and we felt taken care of all night. Although our reserved event space dart board was a tad glitchy, we still thoroughly enjoyed the wine selection, cocktails and THE FLIPPIN' AMAZING MAGICIAN. my friends were bartenders here recently and, aside from the misogynistic and grossly inappropriate comments made by her general manager towards her during her time there, the owner refused to let bartenders wear gloves on st. pattys day and then multiple bartenders got COVID-19 from that day. the owner then withheld thousands of dollars from them that they made during st. pattys day for 5 months DURING A PANDEMIC and continued to ignore their calls. the stories i've heard from several former employees here are disturbing, to say the least read more

One of my favorite restaurants in River North! Perfect for a weekend dinner before heading out to Chicago's club/bar scene, or during the weekday for an after work happy hour. Always a very fun environment and can accommodate so many different types of situations - sit down meal with large group of friends, date night, happy hour with games, catch up with friends over drinks, etc. Make sure to ask for Sara to be your waitress! She is the absolute best! Very attentive, bubbly and knowledgeable. She gave us the best food recommendations and made sure that we were taken care of throughout the night, even after the dinner portion of our night ended. I wanted to give this place two and a half stars, but since that's not an option, I'll just go with two stars. Point & Feather is a decent place to have a drink or two, but it's not a place where I would go out of my way to come back to again. For drinks, I tried The Graduate and the Espadin Dreams. Both were decent to good drinks, and the spirits were not overpowering. For food, I had the burger sliders and the hand cut fries. Both were okay, but nothing that I could not prepare within my own kitchen. As far as prices go, they were pretty reasonable for a River North place. Overall, Point & Feather is a decent place to go to get a decent drink or two, average food, and you can also play darts there. It doesn't really stand out to me as a place that I must return to in the future, which is not good considering there are a million places to try in River North. The management at Point & Feather needs to hire some creative bartenders and creative chefs so that their menu options and food can really stand out to the customer. read more

The drinks are good, as is the atmosphere - however, the service is abysmal. Frequently we had to walk to the bar to get the next round of drinks (even when a server was assigned to us). Additionally, they do a poor job of communicating who can use their amenities when. For example - when my party was initially seated, we were at a normal table and asked about the pool table (which wasn't being used). We were told that only the table closest to the pool table was able to use it due to social distancing restrictions - totally understandable! However, throughout the night the hostess Leslie let everyone else use the pool table but our group. I did ask her about the policy and she said she was too busy too police, but she was often sitting idle in the front door leading me to believe there was a bribe involved. Was here for an event( Taco Crawl ) and the staff was unhelpful and rude . We recieved our food and placed it on a table to get drinks a few step away and they threw away our food . When we told a server they would not take accountability for throwing our food away and would not replaced the food . If you are going to host an event and treat the customer like a burden I can't see how this restaurant can expect return customers. What a let down on customer service for the host of this event that what suppose to be a happy and fun event . The "dart" thing is just a publicity stunt. This place is no different than every other loud brofest on Hubbard. There are maybe six dartboards and you have to have the area around them reserved to use them. The boards are the electronic kind and the one we used before getting booted for the reserved party was extremely glitchy. The music was some top 40 mashup blaring at the highest level so people have to yell at each other to have a conversation. If you're just looking to get hammered and grind and hookup with someone, then this place will do just fine like everything else around it, but don't be fooled by the whole darts thing. read more

This was a fun little surprise while we were out exploring Chicago!! Drinks were great and they had a fun concept with the whole dart bar thing! We had a great time playing a few games! We much prefer traditional boards rather than the electronic ones they had, but still enjoyed ourselves. We did wish they stayed open as late as advertised, but bars closing earlier than the posted time if they weren't busy was something we encountered several times while visiting the area. I will note I did catch my hair on fire here once and large portion of my hair burnt off. They have candles on every table, and I had leaned across he table to show my friend something. Easily the worst service we've ever received. I went here this past weekend. We were there for 3 1/2 hours and only received 3 drinks. This wasn't because we ordered and were waiting. Our waitress would not come to our table. We would flag her down, but she would just hold her finger up as in "one second" and then would not look at us or return to the table for 30 more minutes. My friends and i came here for happy hour on a Friday. We made reservations but there were some open tables when we arrived so you may be able to get away without reservations. The drink prices were very reasonable during happy hour, $5 drafts. You didn't have to twist our arms to have a few rounds at that price! We also ordered the happy hour nachos which were delicious. It was a large serving that could easily be shared amongst many people. The vibe was casual with lots of young professionals unwinding from a long week and enjoying Friday happy hour. Very disappointed in the service. We had a group of 40. Arrangements were made weeks prior to the event; yet, we had one (1) waiter, and he wasn't even assigned solely to our group. He was taking care of other customers, as well, so it took an exorbitant amount of time to get our drink orders. We had pre-ordered food to be brought out at 6pm; however, the food wasn't brought out until 6:40. People who were not with our group ordered food and received it before we did. This place is awesome! Such a breath of fresh air on Hubbard Street. Not what you would expect. It's like a library with dart boards sprinkled in. There's pool tables as well! Comfortable ambiance. This place refers to itself as a dart bar. After two separate conversations with staff over the phone prior to going here, no one mentioned the fact that they do not have real dartboards. The darts and dartboards here are plastic. I repeat, they have the little kid PLASTIC darts and dart boards. I brought a group and we were super excited to play some darts. We were so so let down. I hate to be so harsh, but given it's River North, I can think of a million other places I would choose for a group event before going back here. The most alarming part of our experience was our server. As guests arrived, there was no urgency from our server to take drink orders, and he avoided eye contact. You literally had to flag him down or grab him to place an order and he often had to be reminded of orders that were already placed. Furthermore, there was bottled water and glasses on one of our tables and when we ran out of clean glasses he picked up a dirty one and poured me a glass, as if we didn't notice!!! Food is pretty good: fried chicken slider, chopped salad, and short rib Asian slider. However, given there are so many other great comparable lounges to this one with far better service, I would opt for another venue before returning here. read more

Also a great place to hold a work event, they have lounges that hold a ton of people and an event coordinator who's job it is to set up parties!
