Decent price for full service gas. Also mechanic on site. The only spot it seems near Manchester or Pount Arena.

Good, old-fashioned gas station. The gentleman running the gas station even came out and washed our windows while we were filling up.

Here's my review of the Zen House:…read more My Ducati M900 is deeply emotional to me. My (now late) wife gave it to me new as a birthday present in 1998. I sold it to a friend in 2006, but then it blessedly came back to me 17 years later after she passed. The bike ran fine, but had lots of Bodega corrosion and needed a complete service. The Keihin flatslides were leaking, and the fork tubes were pitted and leaking. But again, the bike ran fine... THE BAD: I just went through two HORRIFIC experiences with two shops over the past 2 years. (#1 is in Rancho Cordova and starts with a "P", #2 is in Santa Rosa and starts with a "B"). They took $4,500 of my money, and #2 actually had to trailer my bike home because they couldn't fix it, and it wasn't rideable any more. The (just replaced) timing belts were so loose that Dave pulled them off by hand. They epoxied my old carburetors together. They changed fork seals on pitted tubes! These are shops with good reputations, but my experience with them could not have been worse. They are either grossly incompetent, or they just wanted to string me along and take my money. Either way, SO disheartening... And #2 actually didn't believe me that the bike ran well when I brought it in. He repeatedly kept telling me that "most customers don't know what a good-running bike runs like", as he's trailering my bike home! I was parts and service manager at Michael's H-D in Cotati for 7 years, I kinda know when a bike is running well or not. I've ridden bikes since I was a kid. THE GOOD (No, THE GREAT): The Zen House changed everything! OMG. It's like the clouds parted when I walked through the door. Dave and Kelley are wonderful. They found the "unavailable" flatslides and "unavailable" fork tubes that the other shops couldn't find. The entire experience was, as Dave calmly puts it, "Not a problem". AND Dave was the only one to notice that my tires were 13 years old! Dangerous, they gotta go. The other shops didn't care, or notice. THIS is the shop you want to take your motorcycle to. They have "the touch", the experience, the vibe, the extreme competence. They make good stuff happen... My deeply heartfelt Desmo is a lively, thriving beast once again because of the Zen House. My bad experiences are behind me. I am truly a lifetime customer from this point forward. Steve Ring Santa Rosa, CA

The owner and mechanic is like the shop's name describes: a guru. A Mr. Miyagi of motorbikes if you will. The service is as old-fashioned as the vibe at the shop. You'd expect a 57 Chevy to pull in to the neighboring gas station connected to the shop, and 4 gentlemen in uniform to eagerly come running to attend the traveler's needs. Stellar work ethic, friendly service, and full of zen vibes. This shop gives Mendocino county something to be proud of.

The guys working here are friendly and professional. They are efficient, explain everything they are doing and charge very fair prices. This is how service stations used to be 50 years ago or more! Lady working the front counter was absolutely awful and it was almost as if she was looking for some type of confrontation from the moment I walked in. I walked up to the open door with my small kids who all had to use the bathroom. My three little ones had masks on, I was about to put mine on as I stood outside and asked if her restroom was open. She rudely said yes, but only for customers and that I needed to put my mask on..ok lady, I literally had it in my hand, was 6 ft from you and obviously was going to put it on, between holding my 3 yr olds hand and asking if we could even enter...so I put it on and said I'd buy something... attempted to buy $2.50 newspaper, placed it on the counter and she told me the one I put on the counter was free, I needed to grab the newspaper on top...told her there wasn't one, so she said they were out and I'd need to choose something else..like a $3 map, or $50 scenic photo, which, by the way, were not worth that much.. so I chose a map, paid $3 cash which she took forever to count, then said, the bathroom is unlocked, go ahead. Again, any time she spoke, it was like she was rolling her eyes and irritated she had to talk at all. She was so short with me, angry that I even came in, and an excellent example of poor customer service. As we were inside, she walked outside, hassled my husband about where he parked and asked him impolitely to move because he was holding up other cars...which he wasn't... So when I came out and told him that the lady was rude to us, he believed it because he had a similar interaction with her. I get it, during the age of Covid, places want to be selective and not just have a restroom that's a free for all...but seriously, she put such a bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention, as I was leaving, I heard her giving another customer some serious attitude over directions or something...just plain odd. Plain and simple, go ahead and enforce your rules, I believe in following rules, but it's not hard to be kind.
