Unaware of what percentage the service fee is, they could be adding any amount they'd like for all we knew. No breakdown what-so-ever. If they intend to charge a service fee I believe it should be company policy that they notify guests as well as on their menus/website and by mouth from servers about this service fee. I understand it's common amongst businesses, but a simple notice would suffice. I asked the server about them and she said "it's not the tip, but a service fee we have, I'm sorry". It wouldn't have made us wonder why our bill could've been less instead of paying more. We know now IF we ever choose to come back.
