There are plenty of bedrooms for all your friends. To get to them you take the spiral staircase up or down. On the bottom floor there are a couple of bedrooms, a bathroom and the apartment. Then up to the main floor, the next floor up is two more bedrooms and a bathroom. The next floor up is the octagon room and has amazing views. While not a bedroom it is spectacular to sit in, and if in the mood to sleep on the couches and fall asleep with those views. Across the bridge is the spa deck and sitting in the spa under the trees is so relaxing Staying here is really amazing. The owner and his family are the nicest people but you probably won't see the since they want you to enjoy yourselves and the tranquility of the area. Great little market on the way with and a tap room next door. Point Reyes is a quant town with good meat, awesome cheese and some great places to eat.

That is the most amazing rooms I've ever stayed in. You are up in the sky almost. After a certain hour, only you can use the deck with the oh yes, hot tub on it. I'd say the only minus to this place is you have to go outside to use the restroom. To reach this room from the inside you get to climb a spiral stair case and open the door like an attic style, or you can do the boring way and enter in from outside. I say this is a great place for an anniversary unless you are stupid rich and can just afford this place for no particular reason.

Kelly made up a warm welcoming chalk board for me wishing me Happy Birthday. Great room with incredible views of 2 great horses in the pasture directly across. Zollie and Rosa are beautiful and are very much cared for by the gentleman that owns many acres of land not attached to the cottage property. Zollie is the larger horse with a reddish mane and white hooves and Rosa is the darker chestnut with a black mane and tail. The room is amazing! Beautiful tiled floors with a Persian throw rug. The sleigh bed is incredibly comfortable with Egyptian Cotton sheets to die for. There is an amazing sun room attached with a back door and windows. I saw deer early in the morning on the property next door outside of the horse pasture. The front gardens of the property are well appointed with amazing sculptures, beautiful flowers that attract many hummingbirds and birds of all kinds. It is like a step back in time of wonderful powerful energy of nature and peace. A much needed therapy these days! I planned it so that I was there for the full moon in Virgo as well as my Virgo birthday! I have included that moon in my pictures here. It was gorgeous! There is a special black cat that is very friendly and since I am a major animal whisperer (everyone says it) this cat took to me instantly. The animals are not allowed in the cottages but he was polite and sat on my outside chair and slept and always visited me first thing in the morning. I encouraged it so if you are not in to cats or the one dog then just go on your way and they will leave you alone. There is a TV in the room but no cable, which is fine. There is a cute outdoor library of over 300 movies to choose from for your room. There is strong WiFi so I could watch Netflix on my computer if I wanted to. There is a mini fridge and wonderfully appointed glassware, bowls, a cutting board, and it works well for me since I went 5 minutes in to town and bought some salads, sandwiches, and great croissants at Bovine Bakery. It is expensive to eat every meal out so it is nice to be able to mix it up with both. All necessary stores, one gas station, Wells Fargo Bank, are all in town just minutes away by car. I will definitely return. Thank you Kelly for all that you did to make my birthday perfect!! :-)

We cooked a lot there, and the kitchen was beautifully kitted out. The cottage offers all the creature comforts, including a hottub with a view; about the only problem that we had while we were there was that we couldn't get the Internet access to function, and there was no cell phone coverage, so it was an off-the-net experience; this added to the serenity. The views across Tomales bay from three directions are magical (but be warned: this is probably not a good house for families with small children - there is not much barrier on the patio) Well worth the money, and highly recommended.

Tom's breakfasts are consistently delicious, his conversation is always delightful, and his sweet dog Mario will love to visit with you. The rooms are well provided and very comfortable. I loved the black make-up towel- such a thoughtful touch! Honestly, I couldn't wish for a better bed and breakfast experience.

Best place for you and your horse…read more.... Just got back from our mother daughter weekend, with my horse and my daughters pony. It was the best weekend I've ever had with my little girl. The drive there was a bit grooling, due to a bike race. When we finally got there, we put the horse away in their stalls and found some port in the living room, Nice! The room was nice and clean, breakfast was wonderful, good coffee, Tom was most helpful in giving me safe trails to take my daughter, great wifi, and he had some wonderful guests! To put it in a nut shell...I want gift certificates for my birthday, Christmas, Mothers Day, V-day, you get the picture!! Thank you Tom!

Lovely location, kitchen with full stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and granite counter tops. Loft bedroom w/bathroom and back deck open to the grounds. Point Reyes park trails right next door. Lovely morning and evening walks - close to Tomales Bay Foods and Palace Grocery Store. Kristine gave us some tips about places to see. We loved Nick's Cove! Would stay here again. Pluses: Well stocked - kitchen included everything you could think of as far as dishes, pans, condiments, spices, paper products, Peet's coffee, teas and hot chocolate. Shampoo, conditioner, plenty of towels, you name it is stocked. Kristine even has pesto cubes in the freezer! Need to blow dry your hair, use the washer/dryer, pick some organic apples or wild blackberries? You've come to the right place. Clean and spacious, beautiful surroundings, close to town, just about everything you need is provided. One negative - Ceiling in the bathroom is low - my over 6 foot husband had to duck. But all in all - just a caution - not a reason to write this place off! Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!
