They can be as busy place, and had no seating for dining in since Covid, just takeout, but they have put some tables and chairs back into the restaurant. Not a comfy cozy place to seat and eat, so we always do takeout. They have a great selection of sushi rolls, the miso soup is umami at its best and I've never had bad tempura from here. All round good food, will always come back.

Young's Kitchen Sushi is a great neighbourhood Japanese restaurant. The first time I ate there was…read morefor a takeout snack. The second time was for a takeout dinner. I ordered the Tofu Teriyaki Donburi with an order of their Boston Sushi Roll. The donburi was very good; the breaded tofu tasted light yet piquant. Everything else in the donburi was great. The sushi roll was delicious, sensing that balance of flavour that good sushi should have. The service was greater than great. They said they would have my food finished by quarter after 7, however I received it more than 15 minutes before the expected time. I was also asked for water or tea by the waitress when I was waiting there. My only complaint about the restaurant is that the space was pretty small and the interior look was pretty basic. Overall, this restaurant is not just great of convenience, but for great food and service as well. I will definitely be coming back to Young's for more.

When I was there, it was not very busy, so I got a table right away. The inside of the restaurant had a classy look to while still maintaining the Japanese aesthetic to it. The menu has so many more choices than I have seen any Japanese restaurant carry. From sushi and donburi bowls to Korean chicken and Fried Nori Tacos I actually had trouble deciding what I wanted because of how much there was to choose from. I ordered the Janjangmyun with the Crazy Boy Sushi Roll. The janjangmyun was fantastic overall. The noodles were great on their own, the caramelized onions were succulent, and the black bean sauce helps make everything in the dish taste exuberant. The sushi roll was fresh, crunchy, meaty and full of flavour. The service was nice, and I liked the waitress that served me. I really look forward to coming back to Noodle Road because I want to try their K-Pop Chicken the next time I come there. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Soy garlic = unfortunately, this made me sick afterwards. Chicken was old and chewy. We knew it wasn't fresh because we've had endless amounts of Korean fried chicken at many places in Canada and in Korea. Batter was so thick, as if it was re-battered and refried. The chicken pieces were so tiny that they got lost in the batter. It was also too sweet. If you're not a fan of sweet fried chicken, don't order this. We didn't think soy garlic would be too sweet so we were quite disappointed and didn't want to send food back when many around the world barely have anything to eat. Fried rice = taste was fantastic but the portion was tiny for a plate that cost about $19! I was surprised to have onion and sauce served with it; never had it before but I didn't mind it. It didn't elevate the dish or did anything to it so it could've been left out. Service = good. The hostess was friendly. Ambience = it is small but clean. Nothing much to say about decor but what is most important is that the tables and dishes are clean.

For those who got ones that lacked flavor...Probably got tofu flavored. Black garlic tonkotsu here is rich. They might serve a bigger menu if you go earlier. Later at night seems to be smaller. I've been going here every-time I drop into Bellingham. The night owl's ramen shop. -being a bigger guy though comfier chairs would be nice, but probably keeps people from staying too long lol. Anyways my go to place for some hearty ramen.

Tonight I Had my sister pick up our order that I placed over the phone for 3 tonkatsu ramens (2 black garlic). Been our favorite dish there for a long time and always loved it. After she got home with the order we realized that there was absolutely no chasu (pork) in any of our 3 dishes. I called the store, and asked them about it and they offered an 8$ refund or extras for next time we came in. We live 30 minutes away. Not exactly like we could easily come back and get the pork or a re-fire of the dish, but that wasn't even offered to us. In their website, they charge 3.5$ for extra chasu. So they didn't even offer us the amount they charge for the protein. After discussing this I called them back to try and explain the frustration we had with this and was entirely dismissed by their manager. When I told her they charge 3.5$ for additional pork she didn't even know the cost, and then offered to give me 11$ refund, because I had received 55$/65$ of food I ordered. I didn't though. I ordered a pork ramen, and didn't receive the primary part of that order. If I wanted a vegetable option I would have picked that. She insisted that there wasn't any other option. Food is good, but if they make it wrong it's not their problem. Terrible customer service. Don't go here.
