First visit to this location. It's small, with a few tables. The staff person was very efficient, handling pickups and delivery drivers, as well as in person and the constant chiming of online orders. They were very generous in loading up the bowls. I selected a create your own bowl and they did indeed have generous portions in my order as well. The rice was warm, the veggies and fish were cold, the wasabi aioli was spicy and it all tasted very fresh. I'll be back. Right now this is my favorite Poke Bros location. read more

Really a 3.5 star place. It's fast. Super casual. A great place to grab and go. I appreciate a fast meal that super healthy and yummy. You can choose your own items or they have suggested bowls you can order. Is it going to knock your socks off? No. But healthy and fast are wins in my book. read more

I was one of two customers and the other customer was ahead of me. I rarely eat poke and a very unfamiliar with the process. The lady to to my order continued to rush me through every step. When I paused to review the selections, she rushed me more. Then when I got home, the bowl was very mid and lacking in flavor. Total disappointment. read more

Good food, however it's very expensive considering the small portions of very basic ingredients. There is one female employee who gives very small portions. I have recently reduced the frequency of visiting this location for lunch due to the female staff member who puts very little food in the bowl. She works there often. I absolute love this place, I honestly just don't go often because the price is a bit too steep for my liking. Anywho, I came here because I was craving some poke and didn't want to cook. The layout of this place is like a Chipotle where you pick and chose what you want in your bowl. The ambiance is open, bright and welcoming. When I came, there wasn't anyone in line and couple of people sitting at a nearby table. The reason I enjoy this place is because the ingredients are always fresh and tasty. While they have the convenience of signature poke bowls, I do prefer to make my own. Plus, I'm always down to try new combinations as well. For today, I ended up getting a poke bowl which was filled with: brown rice, crab stick, edamame, jalapeño, corn, carrots, cucumber, sweet and green onions, tofu, half shrimp, half spicy salmon, ponzu and sriracha sauce and topped with sesame seeds, crispy onion and wonton chips. While I did order at least half the menu, might I declare that it was....DELICIOUS! So crunchy, succulent and fresh! It was so yummy and I ate it all in warp speed. Can fast casual ever be 5 stars? What sets this Poke Bro 1/2 star apart from the other 3 PBs within 5 miles?!? I'd never eaten at a Poke Bros, but there is a Jimmy John's next door if I needed it. Spoiler alert: I didn't. Great food, fast turn, accessible parking lot, and just enough off the beaten path to be easy in and out without a traffic jam. Also seemed to be popular with families. I ordered the Johnny Utah because I am young, dumb, and you know the rest if you've seen the movie. Pretty decent poke bowl. I got a half rice half salad with avocado, salmon, marinated tuna, masago, seaweed salad, green onion, cucumber, crab stick, tofu, sweet soy sauce. Sriracha Aioli, sesame seeds, tempura flakes and crispy onions. It was pretty good and I didn't get a picture of the bowl because I was so hungry.. but the service was so fast. My first visit to the Poke Bros in Lake Bluff and the service was very friendly. She even thanked me for the gratuity which doesn't always happen and it was nice to be acknowledged. I love that the food was so fresh and I like being able to add or not add a whole variety to make my poke bowl experience fantastic. I had the lettuce instead of rice with 1/2 tuna, 1/2 salmon (just raw without the marinades) and edamame, seaweed salad, masago, avocado and crispy onions were the only fried choice, then added some Ponzu sauce. It was fantastic and very healthy. The bathrooms were very clean and had a crisp look to it. There were about 4-5 tables for 2-4 people and I was very comfortable eating alone and not disturbed. Poke Bros is now my go-to for a quick lunch and I am so glad a coworker recommended it. While they don't have an extensive toppings bar, they've got everything you need. Their marinated poke is my absolute favorite for protein options and so far I haven't been let down. I believe I paid ~$14 for my "Build Your Own Bowl," which is reasonable. The interior aesthetic is bright, fresh, and always puts me in a good mood. Going around 11:30am-12pm on a workday hasn't been bad in terms of it being crowded or wait times. I just hope they start a punchcard/loyalty program, so my frequent visits feel even more justified :) read more

Last night was my first time at Poke Bros, but it's now officially part of the rotation. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful and the food was outstanding. Tons of super fresh options for the bowls. I went with 1/2 rice & 1/2 greens for the base, then added avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, scallions, fresh jalapeños and masago, I probably missed a few. Topped all that with with crab and spicy salmon along with a wasabi sauce, sriracha aioli and a great gluten free soy concoction. I've only been eating poke bowls for a few years, but it was the best one I've ever had. And yes - they have chicken as well as tofu for the carnivores & vegans. Enjoy! read more
