Incredibly fast and fresh food. As a gluten-free vegetarian I had many options and did not leave hungry.

I would give ZERO if I could! As a Poke Bros fan and visiting a few different locations , I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and unkindness. The orders here are so rushed and thrown together anyone giving this location more than one star obviously havent visited other locations. Tiny portions & terrible customer service when told I would like a mistake fixed or a refund . The girl here tossed my order ( brought back in within minutes ) without refunding or replacing the meal. I was forced to call the police after she refused to remake or refund on top of trashing what was uneaten and paid for. After the police arrived she took the order out of the trash and handed it back to me. Even after a police visit, she still did not correct or refund my simple $16 order. Unprofessional, terrible sanitation practices, argumentative, prejudice and not worth a dime. My wife has wanted to try this place for a long time. Had the Johnny Utah Signature Bowl with salmon..avocado..edamame..cucumber..masago with lettuce instead of rice. Very fresh. Staff very friendly. Cost was 12.00. Many options to choose from or you can make your own customized bowl. read more

I'm happy to see poke expand from the West to the Midwest! For those of you that aren't familiar with poke, it is basically deconstructed sushi in a bowl. You get to customize the toppings, fish, and sauces all in a bowl. It was my first time trying this franchise of poke, and it tasted great! I was pleased with the fresh fish selection they had available and was glad poke made its way to diversify the palate of those in St. Charles, as this is the first poke bowl shop here. To begin with, there are a lot of different options to choose from. There are signature bowls which are bowls that have all the ingredients in the bowl chosen already, or you can make your own customized bowl. Poke Bros only has one size of a bowl as for other places there is a small, medium, or large size. Everything in the containers looked vibrant and fresh. For my base, I got half brown rice and half salad mix. I chose almost all the toppings besides most of the ones I had to pay extra for, like the avocado, crab sticks, seaweed salad, and masago (orange fish eggs). Then, I got the marinated tuna as my protein of choice. I then chose the Ponzu and Sweet Soy as my two sauces and topped off the bowl with all of the dry toppings to get the most bang for my buck. The bowl cost me around $12 and although it is a bit pricey for only getting one protein, I thought it was delicious considering that the ingredients were very high quality. The tuna tasted great and the marinade was spot on. I highly recommend Poke Bros to all seafood lovers and any of those that are curious to try a Hawaiian staple food. I hope this place does well here as I definitely will come back in the future. P.S. I don't know why the lady that dropped the one star review on this place is even writing a review if she is only complaining about the price. If you don't want your bowl costing close to $20, don't add extra fish or toppings, simple as that. read more

I do make my own poke bowls now at home, but this place gave me my inspiration. They used to offer Forbidden Rice but sadly don't anymore,and I think it really made the bowl more scrumptious. Ps you can buy forbidden rice at some stores and I would highly recommend! read more

Beware the Poke Bros. location in St Charles We've been coming to this place off and on since 2018 and never had a problem until tonight. Beware their stingy customer service. My experience tonight has me never wanting to return again. We ordered two bowls. When I got home, one of them (my mother in law's) had bad salmon in it and she didn't eat more than one bite. The second one (mine) had spicy salmon and tasted ok at first, but the more I ate it, the more it tasted fishy, so I stopped right away- I ate maybe 1/3 of the bowl, but that wound up including most of the spicy salmon. I took both bowls back to the store and the person on duty agreed to refund the first one. I asked for a replacement for the 2nd one (but with a different protein). She agreed to do it, but wanted to charge me for the protein because I ate most of it. What?!?!?! Are you serious??!?!? I explained the situation, but she wouldn't budge. Did she really think I would take the effort to come back to the store to ask for a replacement bowl with 2/3 of it still there and when she knew another meal in our order already had bad salmon in it? She then went on to accuse me of "always coming in demanding refunds or exchanges" and I was again flabbergasted. We rarely go there- maybe once every couple months- and I had never before asked for a refund or exchange. I told her this (firmly but politely) and that she had confused me with someone else. She then waved it off as "oh, so many people come in here, maybe I got you mixed up with someone else", but it was clear she didn't believe me from the expression on her face. No apology. I pressed the request and she said she had to call her manager. She did so and the manager agreed with her. I was astounded- is it really worth nickel and diming a customer over a few dollars of a protein charge when you already knew the salmon was bad? I got a replacement bowl with no protein and left and will never go back there again. On the way out, I warned another woman who had just bought a couple bowls about the salmon. The other worker (a guy) behind the counter was disgusted and said something in another language that I couldn't understand. The woman seemed concerned and looked at her food, but eventually walked out. I hope she didn't get sick. Anyway, I thought I'd pass this experience along as a warning. They have good food, but if you ever have a problem with your order, don't say you weren't warned about their nickel and diming. And yes, I have a sour stomach now. Hopefully I don't get food poisoning. I probably shouldn't have had that replacement bowl, but I was starving. read more

Nice and clean but their bowls is less than what you're paying. I ordered the salmon bowl. They counted most of stuff they put in my bowl. Even the soy sauce. The only thing is full that is rice. I ordered 2 bowl for my lunch and dinner but after the first bowl Which is so blank, I don't want it for my dinner anymore. I used to think all poke bowls are the same. But it's not. I was so happy to know that there is a poke spot near home. I just moved back from SoCal and there were poke spots in every block. Heard of this place and finally made a trip to try it out, and have had it three times within a week and a half since. Very similar setup to a Chipotle style ordering/peeping of your food. Start with a base, and toppings and choice of protein. Everything I've tried here has been extremely fresh, clean and prepared very well, which is key when serving raw seafood! It can get a little pricey with some add-ons to your bowl, but definitely worth it to have a healthier meal that sticks with you. Here is the bottom line. This place is a option to have incredibly fresh and delicious ..... healthy food! Yes, it's a little pricey but that's where America has it wrong. We eat cheap foods that are horrible for us, because they are cheap. Yes, your Poke bowl will be more expensive than a drive through meal, but you can literally taste the freshness! Aside from the glaring issue that anything named the Johnny Utah should clearly be a tuna based bowl, not salmon. It was still quite enjoyable. It should also work in some kind of take on whole wheat, maybe that's the role of brown in this kind of scenario, but it was too late for that. What a discovery! We walked into Poke Brothers not having any expectations and was pleasantly surprised. We walked into a very clean, well-maintained fast food restaurant complete with relaxing background music, a truly pleasant atmosphere to dine. The concept is truly healthy fresh food. We enjoyed; number one the Johnny Utah bowl; number three the Hula; and a vegetarian build your own bowl. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and truly yummy. The girls behind the counter were very helpful and patient as we asked questions and explored their menu board. Two things that were missing from the typical fast food, restaurant, no calories were posted and they were missing a fountain drink machine. Drinks are available by purchasing a bottle which was fine and the food was so healthy and fresh we determined the calories really didn't count. This is an ideal place to drop in to pick up a healthy meal and the price is right. We will definitely return. read more

Overall our food was good, but I'm a little confused by this place. We've had poke from various restaurants before and never has it been served the way Poke Bros does it. We placed an order online, one signature bowl and one build your own bowl. Both bowls were filled with tons of sauce, then rice, then toppings, which turned our rice into soup. I've NEVER had poke this way, usually everything goes ontop of the rice and it isn't drowning in sauce. Additionally the rice was HOT, but we had raw seafood toppings which just made the fish warm and unappealing by the time we brought it home. The flavor was really good, but the sauce was just too much and the temperature of the food was a turn off. The highlight of the meal was the mochi, we ordered 5 different flavors and they all rocked! I think we'll give this place another shot and just opt out of getting sauce. read more

There are many options already on the menu, but as a vegetarian I chose to make my own. The tofu here is so good and the perfect texture for not being cooked.
