Wow! First time here and we will definitely be making this a part of our regular places to eat! We are trying to change to a more vegetarian/vegan diet and they have tasty, fresh options to build the bowl you want or some great menu items to choose from. I got the harissa bowl with tofu, and my husband got the Bangkok bowl with tofu, we shared a Healthnut smoothie. I would have taken photos but about 1/4 of the way into demolishing our food we were so impressed that we needed to stop and write reviews! Also dangerous for us that it has a drive through Inside, it has a simple, clean design, good music at a good volume. Staff was super helpful as it was our first time here, very patient and giving recommendations. We will be coming back to try all of the other menu items, maybe next time I'll remember to take photos of our food first! read more

Absolutely loved my build your own bowl! So fresh, loved the tofu, chickpeas, sweat potatoes and fresh ingredients I selected. But wait, a piece of chicken found its place in my bowl that's a huge problem. I took a bite and spit it out. Our teenage boys and my husband did not enjoy their food. Our son got a super small amount of steak. Their bowls were pretty small esp for the price. The pop punk music was blaring. I don't mind a little but it was all pop punk and we all of a sudden realized the music was stressing us out. Like fingernails on a chalkboard. I am usually very positive. I give every opportunity for things to be 4 or 5 stars. So I was going to let it go the chicken that is. I went to the cash register and grabbed a cookie and told the employee there was a piece of chicken in my tofu bowl and he said " I'm so sorry". Not that I needed a free cookie but sadly this is a total bummer. Sad to say I loved my bowl until I found a piece of chicken in a vegan bowl. I was very impressed with my first visit to Currito! When I walked in, the restaurant was bright and clean. The employee behind the counter was very welcoming and went over the whole menu with me. I ordered the Summer grain bowl with chicken meal. I enjoyed the blend of the mango salsa, cilantro rice, chicken and beans. The side of chips and guacamole was also fresh and good. AWFUL customer service. We ordered in the drive thru and it took over 20 minutes to get our food. We pulled up to the window and saw them take orders and serve 3 customers that came in AFTER we had ordered. When we voiced our frustrations, the girl was extremely rude and unpleasant, did not apologize, told us it is what it is, and then slammed the window after she handed us our food. Good food and good value but they need to work on service. Often they will just close the drive thru by putting a cone out there. A couple of times I have just sat waiting for my food for 10+ minutes while I watch one person working the orders, one person cleaning the dining area and another prepping the food station for shift end instead of caring for customers. A simple shift of priorities would fix this. Help the customer then return to your side work when it's slow and no customers around. read more

I like the idea that Currito presents. Healthy ingredients and their non-fast food options set them apart from the crowd. I had the Bankok bowl on my visit and truly enjoyed it. Asian cabbage, cilantro lime rice, cucumber, shredded carrots, slivered almonds, thai-style peanut sauce, spicy cashew vinaigrette, sesame seeds..all of these made for a delicious bowl. There were other bowls on the menu that held some interest, but beyond a few of those, the other menu options weren't dinner quality to me. On a not-so inspiring note, I'm never very happy when the serving size is child-like, and Currito's bowls dangerously come close to that. Perhaps men with an appetite aren't your clientele, but offering larger serving sizes should be a consideration for sustaining a greater audience. read more

This place seemed like my kinda of place but when I looked at other Yelp pictures I was a little worried I would be disappointed since the bowls seemed pretty small. Luckily that was not the case. I ordered the curry bowl with tofu and it was very filling. There was plenty of rice on the bottom and also a good portion of tofu. The chickpeas had a bit of a kick to it but the tahini sauced mellowed it out. We also got a Nutella shake which took forever for them to make but that is probably my only complaint. The hot weather makes me crave salads so the hubby and I decided to try the Currito location in Geneva.I ordered the Monterrey salad with chicken(8.99 plus 2.75 for Chicken). The Monterrey has Romainne Lettuce, Pico de Gallo, white corn, black beans, Jack cheese, Scallions with a creamy lime dressing. Very tasty and fresh. My husband ordered his favorite salad which is a Spicy Thai( same price as my salad). The Spicy Thai was Romaine lettuce, Asian cabbage, Carrots, Rice Noodles,Silvered Almonds, Sesame seeds,Edamame, Scallions with a spicy Cashew Vinaigrette. He loved it! The food was excellent. Everything was very fresh. I ordered ahead and they were making my meals as I walked in. There seems to be a lack of experienced management from what I observed. Mostly teens who were working hard but didn't seem sure of themselves. We will definitely go back. I'm a huge fan of Dig Inn https://www.diginn.com/ and Currito is actually better. The big difference is that Currito may have too many options, making the ordering take too long. But the variety is awesome. Currito has many more ingredients and many more flavorful options like mango salsa, hummus, and a wide selection of garnishes and sauces. By comparison, everything at Chipotle tastes the same. Had dinner here tonight! First time trying any Currito location. Let's just say the Geneva location was the bomb!! This is our new favorite fast casual restaurant. I had the carolina bowl with chicken. The chicken is antibiotic free and absolutely delicious. The cabbage and carrots were very fresh and the corn salsa provided just a hint of sweetness. The crunchy onions gave it a little savory and salty crunch! The sauces are what made this one. The carolina bbq sauce and the lemon herb ranch dressing were awesome! Especially love the tartness of the lemon. Just so refreshing. My family also tried 2 make-your-own bowls and the tikka bowl. Everyone was happy and we all agreed we are going to be coming here again and again. We tried samples of the smoothies and all were delicious. And the chocolate chip cookie? That was one great cookie! The staff and managers were on top of things and very quick. Super nice people and happy for their success! Definitely get over to Currito. Was very pressed for time and wanted to pick up something healthy for dinner to take home. Made my own bowl, which was supposed to include chicken (extra charge), feta and pico de gallo. When I finally sat for dinner, opened up the bowl to find no chicken, and about a thimble of pico, about the same for feta. Basically a glorified lettuce bowl with sparse ingredients. So good, fresh and healthy! You have to try a bowl, they give you enough for two meals. The Tikka Masala is my #1 fave, balanced perfectly you can mix the bowl up and each bite is delicious. So much flavor. The Mediterranean is also to die for, each ingredient is balanced perfectly. One staff member said she loves the Buffalo so I'll be trying that next. The chicken is antibiotic free and they support local communities, more wins. I've tried the berry and straw-bana smoothies as well. Delish. They don't skimp on ingredients. The staff is also super kind and helpful, they keep the place super clean and efficient. This is one of those menus where you end up wanting to try everything.
