I wasn't a big Poke fan until recently. But only because I didn't know what I was missing! I'm more of a Nigiri style sushi guy. Because I'm new at this I didn't really know how to order. I liked that they had a few signature bowls to choose from that just made it easier. I was driving back to Virginia Beach so I needed something fast and something I could eat while I was driving. I was beyond excited when I found out that we were finally getting a Poke place in Delaware! I've had Poke before in NYC and it is always hands down amazing, so I'm glad there is finally one close to home. I swear we are like years behind all of the trends in DE. Anyways, this is kind of like a Japanese-style Chipotle, where you can create your own sushi bowl. They have a few of their own recipes/bowls you can choose from. However, for my first time I decided to create my own bowl. I got the salmon and the tuna with white rice and it was awesome! They actually offer a lot of options here in terms of base, protein, and toppings. Then I had them top of it off with their Sriracha Aioli sauce, which essentially tasted like spicy mayonnaise from sushi restaurants. Overall, this place was pretty good. The portion sizes are fairly large as well so as least you know you're getting your money's worth. read more

Randomly ran across this place on yelp when looking for something to eat today, and I gotta say, Yelp, y'all should get an MVP award for this! I have been looking for a good Poke place in Wilmington, and I can officially say I've found one. I built my own salad with various toppings such as edamame, avocado and cucumber; and I split my meats between spicy salmon and shrimp. I brought it home and I inhaled the food in 2.5 seconds flat, unfortunately my boyfriend didn't get to try any of it (opps), guess we'll just have to go back....tomorrow? read more

I love Poke Bros! I was excited to try it, when it first opened (albeit a little skeptical of raw fish in more of a "fast food" type environment). Lucky for me, it exceeded my expectations! I've gotten a handful of bowls there, and all have been with extremely fresh fish and other ingredients. You can pick from various bases (sushi rice, brown rice, white rice, lettuce), then choose proteins and toppings. They have chicken/shrimp/tofu for non-raw fish eaters. They have a bunch of sauces to choose from. The bowls are more than enough to satisfy you. They're a tad pricy, but totally worth it when you look at the amount of fish and other ingredients that you're getting (way more than in a sushi roll). I hope this place does well - it's a much-needed addition to the Pike Creek food scene. read more

We love to go for walks on Main Street-- there are lots of great places to eat and shop. But one of our frequent stop is Poke Bros. I love being able to make my own bowl full of delicious rice and all kinds of toppings. Just thinking about the salmon and shrimp gets my mouth watering! The service is nice and fast. One of my favorite things about Poke Bros is their rewards system for loyal customers. For every so many bowls you buy, you get one for free! COVID WARNING _ been going to this location for over a year but just went in on 9/15/2020 and ordered my bowl and when the normal gentlemen behind the counter went to add my sauce the bottle was jammed so he used his fingers, WITHOUT GLOVES to pick at the top and then put his finger over the hole to shake the bottle, then squirted it all over my bowl. I called him out on it and refused to accept that and asked for a new one telling him how unsanitary that was. will never go back here due to unsanitary conditions. read more

Love it! Nice change from the same old lunch options! Service was on point and everything was super fresh. My only complaint is that there isn't one closer to my home. I've been there twice. If you get chicken, don't expect it to be grilled. not what I expected at all. First, It looked like lumps of crabmeat. felt like it was boiled, had rubbery mouthfeel, and a horrible taste. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be in the culture??? If so, sincere apologies. But that was super disappointing chicken. After throwing the chicken out, the bowl was actually really good and had decent flavors. But who wants a bowl without good protein? As one of the only restaurants specializing in Poke it was extremely good. I have had Poke in D.C. and Philadelphia and Poke Bros is equally as good.
