This is my go to spot for poke I can't believe that I have never done a review for this spot. I will definitely take photos next time. The spicy mayo and shoyu poke are my two favorites. My BF loves the pau hana (I think that's what it is called.) Stand in line, and figure out what you want. Also, enjoy the store and grab some Hawaii items. I love the frozen Portuguese Sausage and Lau Lau. The sweet treats are also yummy. Workers are always so nice and sweet. Feels like home. :) Don't forget to grab other items to eat with your poke. She was very kind, made things right, and offered for me to go to another location to use my discount and such if I didn't feel comfortable going back to the Craig location. I went to the Henderson spot on Father's Day, and it was busy (as to be expected because of both Father's Day AND because Poke Express is always busy). Delicious! I can finally say that yes, poke express is the best poke around in Vegas. Also, probably in our area back home in CA. I love how this is Hawaiian style rather than those nasty modern poke spots. There so many different flavors and they let you taste so don't be afraid to ask! We opted for the wasabi ahi, limu ahi, and spicy mayo salmon. All were wonderful. To taste everything, just order different items in 1/3 or 1/4 lbs. wasabi one actually had a really good kick and the limu one tasted really traditional with the seaweed it had. Spicy mayo salmon was a classic that was done well. The people behind the counter were super nice and helpful. My only issue was that the rice was extremely mushy.... I couldn't even finish it. What a pleasant find! Walking in instantly made me feel like I was back in Hawaii. I'm usually very skeptical of poke spots and incredibly picky, but this place is as authentic as it gets. Everything is unbelievably fresh and so delicious. I live in Los Angeles, and this is still the only place I'll go for poke whenever I'm in Las Vegas. It's become a mandatory stop every trip. My go to bowl is seaweed salad, cucumber, kimchi, salmon, and rice simple and perfect every time. The service is always warm and friendly, and I love that they also sell Hawaiian snacks and goodies to take home. The only thing left on my list is trying one of their teriyaki burgers, and I can't wait to take home and make for the fam. Most of the poke shops in San Diego no long do samples since COVID so I was surprised they did samples here! I don't know if there's a limit but the staff were so nice and helpful with the recommendations. All of the flavors were good but the ones I ended up getting were the spicy lava poke and combo spicy poke. There's a display of different sized containers and the price is based off weight. They don't do poke bowls here due to the rice temp but you can order a bowl of rice ($0.75 per scoop), pick your poke (pay by the pound) and add it to the bowl. read more

I kept seeing this place all over social media so I had to give it a try. They have a huge variety of different poke options. The first time I went, they did not have any poke out to visually see, so you really could not tell what you were getting. The second time they had it out to see and that made it easier to select something. The ordering process is a little confusing when it comes to getting a poke bowl. But if you are just ordering containers to go, it is super easy. They have a mini selection of snacks and drinks in store which is cool. There is no inside dining options, so plan accordingly. Although you cannot sit down in here, they offer great seafood options from tuna, salmon, mussels, crab or if you'd rather have some vegetarian options, they have that too! Quick & convenient is definitely their motto but don't mistake that for quality of the food. I was asked what I was wanting & I was helped with my options since it was just me. This place transported me back to Hawaii. Owner is from Hawaii too! They let you sample here but I decided to go with the sweet and spicy ahi. Fish was fresh and flavor was good. The spicy avocado ahi was also very good and would probably be my order next time I go back. The prices are also very fair. My bowl with 1/4 lb ahi, 1/4 lb seaweed and 2 scoops rice came out to about $8. They also sell noms here! No seating here though so takeout only. read more

I really enjoyed this poke! I was thrilled to see my favorite Hawaiian juice available here (the lychee one) and so many delicious poke varieties. My favorite was the wasabi poke. My husband I tried five poke to go with a rice bowl. You can order the rice bowl for 75 cents, and each poke is priced per pound. They're individually packaged in measured plastic containers. Per pound the poke is priced very decently. There is a market on the right side of the store front. Dine in is not available. The store was very clean and nicely organized. Woderful service. Both my friend and I have dietary restrictions and enjoy poke. She has a sesame seed allergy so they made hers from scratch we only waited about 10 minutes. I asked if they had any poke with no soy sauce and they suggested I order the spicy tuna and wasabi tako (octopus). The freshest poke by the pound I've had in las vegas. I also ordered some seaweed salad and ginger. About $20 and have plenty for a second meal. They also sell, snacks, baked goods, and frozen treats. Small take out place serving delicious Hawaiian-style poke, sold by the pound. Long line on a Sunday evening around 5pm, it probably took us 10-15 minutes in total. I recommend looking up the menu on their website or social media pages ahead of time if it's your first time. A worker comes and takes your order while you're in line so they can start preparing your order, and the picture menu they give you doesn't include all the menu items. So you might see food items in the display once you get to the front of the line that you didn't realize was on the menu. You can always add things to your order when you get to the register. You order per pound, and there are different container sizes on display for reference. They also had various packaged, baked, and frozen goods for sale in the store catered to the flavors of Hawaii. This Poke Express location also takes orders for Hanalei poi. We got 3/4 lb of limu ahi poke, 3/4 lb of furikake ahi poke, 1/4 lb of scallop poke and 1/4 of wasabi raw tako (octopus). We also got an order of poke nachos. Everything came out to around $60. They have a loyalty program based off of phone number. We paired the food with rice that we cooked at home. Everything was delicious and we definitely over ordered for just the 2 of us. Leftovers were good too but obviously not as fresh. I love limu after having had it in Hawaii and would definitely order again. The house sauce in the scallop poke was kind of a sweet and spicy sauce that wasn't to my liking, and I would probably try a differently seasoned scallop poke if they have it in the future. No tables, no stools to get around, just a line of hungry people, looking through the glass display at delicious poke and other umami induced items they can see and smell (and take a sample) of and then boom, whatever flavorful selection your heart desires is placed in conveniently marked packaging of 1/4,1/2,1 LB containers, then a few scoops of rice later, the best part happens. You get to eat this very scrumptious meal and get fresh mouthwatering fish in the desert here in Vegas. The service was happy, but straightforward and I like the setting inside as it makes me feel like I am in a small walkable city by the sea, and they have only smaller containers of the food to display so the food prepared in small batches is always fresh and clean. Super rare to get all these elements in one place, and super worth it to visit and pick one(and eventually all) or more of the very colorful and flavorful poke and seafood selections they have here. The missing order was a salmon poke bowl with two extra sauces, which I also paid for. I called the store, and instead of helping resolve the issue, the manager immediately suggested that people make these kinds of claims all the time. I drove back to the store to explain what happened, but I still had to argue just to receive a refund for the missing bowl. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled. A little understanding and good customer service would have gone a long way. We walked in on a Friday afternoon and joined the line-up that although was quite long, it was moving quickly. Being from Hawaii, it was such a treat to see poke in the chilled display and able to be purchased by the pound! It was just like walking into the grocery stores back home. The ahi poke was so fresh, but the kimchi crab and garlic bulbs were my favorite. Service here was so welcoming as well, we let her know it was our first time in and despite there being a line she took the time to explain things to us and circled back after taking other orders. I placed an order and apparently I was short 1/2 lb. I didn't realize it until I got to my son's house when I opened the package. The salmon with ponzu sauce and the wasabi tuna are the best, here or anywhere. I could eat them all day. The scallops were good but a little too much sesame taste for me. I would skip out on the sweet & spicy tuna next time. My wife really likes the raw crab. read more
