I stumbled upon this food truck awhile back and I still dream about the Poké Nachos. Generous portions with a reasonable amount of fish, furikake, sauce, etc. As you can see from the container, it's def a perfect size to enjoy with your family and friends! Nothing flashy, no BS, just straight up good grub made by honest & stand-up business owners. I think I saw a salmon burger somewhere on their menu awhile back. Ordered a Teriyaki chicken and a loco moco. It was about a 15 minute wait. It is located inside a gas station but there is seating inside. The loco moco was not good at all. The meat was way over cooked and hard. I ordered it with over easy eggs and they came out like a mix between over hard and medium. The gravy had minimal flavor but I liked that it wasn't overly salty like other gravies that I've had. It also came with macaroni salad and that was really good as someone who isn't a fan of mac salad. The teriyaki chicken was much better than the loco moco. The chicken was so juicy and I really liked the teriyaki sauce. The portions were huge as well. I would come back again for sure but would order anything besides the loco moco. read more

Then a few weeks later I drove from the southwest (please expand down here in the future) up to their spot in the NW inside the gas station and once again, those same proteins and poke nachos all SMACKS. Then I went to Oahu for a week and all I could think about when eating on the island was comparing it to Da Braddahs Grindz and how much better this place is than anywhere I tried from the North Shore down to Waikiki. Yum. The beef teriyaki is fire. We ordered two large plates with three meats each. My husband got the garlic shrimp, beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki. I got the chicken katsu, beef teriyaki and Korean chicken. We both agree that the beef teriyaki was the best. The katsu chicken was our least favorite. It was def on the drier side and failed in comparison to the other katsu chicken dishes available in the valley. Portions are absolutely massive. We could have shared one plate but instead each had our individual plates for three meals each. The portions are that huge. They have great menu options and a rotation of different desserts available! Now let me tell you these plates were heavvvyyy and packed the quality and the price was unmatched. It's 930am and the filipino in me is in the mood for something with rice instead of breakfast lol I'm not gonna lie, the gas station is a little off putting. Sticky fly traps hanging, it just seems a little dingy in there so I'd order to go vs eat there. But with that being said, the food is SO good. The garlic shrimp is the best I've tried from a restaurant here in Vegas and the garlic chicken is super yummy. I think $16 for the portion size is a littttttttle overpriced compared to other Hawaiian spots but honestly the quality of the food makes up for it. Will def come back read more

We found this place the way all great Vegas moments happen: getting lost on the highway. And I'm honestly grateful because this place is AMAZING. *This review is for the food truck, not the restaurant.      I've been wanting to try this place for a while now, and they just happened to be at a farmer's market, not too far from where we were staying.  You see so many videos on tiktok and IG that I wasn't prepared to order.  There wasn't a crazy line yet, and I was greeted and helped right away.     I ordered: 1.  Mini kanak (garlic shrimp & coconut shrimp) - both were really good.  Shrimps were cooked perfectly and not chewy and overcooked.  Mac salad was tasty as well. 2.  Chicken teriyaki cooked perfectly, and it wasn't overly seasoned or anything.  A classic staple done right.      I really wanted to go back and try more, but after eating that with my husband, we were ready to take a nap or a walk just to help burn some calories. Tried the food truck at the pure aloha festival today. $15 for a spicy ahi bowl in a small disposable food tray. $18 for a coconut shrimp plate. Nearly $40 for these two items and ahh was not worth it. The coconut shrimp was the only good thing. Rice was small kine mushy, and the poke...was a let down. It was warm and smelt fishy. Normal poke does not smell fishy or taste like that. And it was just too much sauce for a cover up. No good sadly, had to throw it away. Also when I asked for a takeout container at the pick up window, brother said no he cannot give me one..BUT the 2 customers before me who asked for container to put their food items inside for take away was given no problem. This is one of the newer restaurants that recently opened up. It's located inside the Sinclair Gas Station and it does have limited seating. My husband and I ended up taking our order to go. We didn't know the hours for this restaurant and ended up calling before going. Da Braddah's Grindz offers all day breakfast options, plate lunches and regular orders like Korean Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Furikake Chicken, Teriyaki Beef, Kalbi Ribs, and so much more! We ended up getting a [3] meat plate with chicken teriyaki, beef, and the kalua pork with mac salad and rice. Kalua pork is one of my favorite dishes, but unfortunately, It was just okay. It didn't have too much flavor. The chicken teriyaki was delicious though! The chicken was super tender and the sauce was so flavorful! My husband enjoyed the beef. There wasn't much rice in the to-go box. There was, however, a lot of mac salad though! The price wasn't too expensive for the food! Amazing bulgogi fries! Personally the bulgogi fries are my favorite dish they offer. Personally I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken. But I definitely want to try their Kalbi next time. I always order the bulgogi fries every-time I go. The atmosphere isn't the best being that their store front is in a gas station. However, the service is good and the food is delicious. I've FINALLY tried the one and only Da Braddahs Grindz. The food truck had made a stop to the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center during the lunch hours to serve our lovely hospital staff, visitors, guests, and families. When I saw that they were coming I was definitely going to check them out. Today was the day! I was surely NOT disappointed! I had tried their mix Kanak plate which is a choice of 2 proteins. I chose the Furikake Chicken and Teriyaki Beef as my 2 proteins with 2 scoops of rice and Mac salad. I absolutely LOVED the flavors and portion size of my meal where I don't have NO complaints! I thought the price was reasonable for the amount of food I was receiving. I see myself checking out Da Braddahs Grindz again in the near future to try out a couple more items on their menu! Da Braddah's Grindz is a small Hawaiian Take Restaurant located in the Sinclair Gas Station in the North/West Part of Vegas. Inside are two small tables so it is mostly for take out. They feature all day breakfast plates and the crazy big lunch plates that you get at Hawaiian Places. This location recently opened and maybe some things haven't been worked out yet. The rice, macaroni salad and kalua pork were all very good and also very large portions. The two chicken dishes we tried (Korean & Furikake) had good flavors and were made with tender chicken but something wasn't right about the breading because it was soft and wet. It was like waterlogged bread. Get the pulled pork or something without breading. These guys were at the Pure Aloha concert so we decided to try. We bought $130 in poke rice bowls and it was sick. The fish was warm and old & the flavor they added was disgusting. I refused to eat it after 1 bite. And I HATE wasting food. Their "shoyu poke" has zero shoyu so that was weird. substitute the shoyu for precut costco in the fridge garlic sprinkled all over old, fishy previously frozen ahi and that's what they call shoyu poke. I really wished they were good but they weren't. Waste money. The ONLY good thing about this place was that the girl working at the register was really nice. Other than that, yuck. read more
