    Chicken Katsu

The food was fresh and the inside was well kept clean and the service was great. Tried the chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki along with the Taro Milk Tea. Everything was great. Will definitely be back again

I seen this place a few times but always passed by it, today i went in, super clean area inside, the floor was super clean, along with tables but was slow as it seemed. Diego V is the one who charged my order and was amazing! super attentive and helpful since it was my first time ordering! I order the food to-go and no complaints the Katsu is super flavorful and crispy, and the steak is a bit salty but really nice and tender! Also a lady with colorful hair, made my taro milk tea and it was amazing! especially the tapioca is super chewy and amazing quality (if you've been to tea maison, almost identical to the same honey boba) will definitely be coming back! and huge portion size!

    Taste better than photo lol

Honestly I was a lil worried based on the photos, but we were really happy with our meal. I got the teriyaki chicken, the potato salad was solid and the chicken was really good too. I only wish more teriyaki was added. The spicy teriyaki was ok too but not better than the regular teriyaki. Would def come back. Reasonably priced and great portion.

From the customer service to the food, everything has always been on point. If you ask them, they'll tell you I eat here pretty often -- and I'll probably be back again today after work. Rice Bros just opened, and with any new restaurant there are always going to be a few kinks to work out. That's normal. Also, judging a spot based on delivery alone usually isn't fair since the food is never going to be at its absolute best compared to dining in.

First time ordering here. This is suppose to be chicken cutlet. This looks like batter w/ a little chicken. Cmon BRO. This not a good look.
    Jerico J.

First time ordering here and this ain't katsu bruh. Gotta do better bro. Picture attached is what I received vs what a cutlet is supposed to look. I don't expect it identical, but I do expect a fillet. IMO

So I'm not gonna lie, this is not a picture of my food because it was so good that I ate it all lol! but I did order the teriyaki chicken bowl with half rice half salad and the macaroni salad on the side. The owner spoke to me, and he really takes pride in all the healthy ingredients! I love ginger so I got some extra on the side along with the dressing. Bon appétit!

    Just burnt horrible Katsu chicken

No, I've tried this place once before I got the teriyaki chicken. It was very average but the potato salad was amazing so I wanted to try it again this time I got the Katsu chicken and the problems started right from the beginning as I sat there and waited for my order I seen the worker that was making my order cut his hand. He washed it off at the sink and then kept making my order no gloves nothing so immediately I was watching everything that he did from that point on then he prepared my food with no gloves, and with a cut on his hand, and the Cat chicken portion was a nice size he sliced up and played it, then proceeded to put sauce all over it. I asked is that how you do things all the time because I would've preferred my sauce on the side it seems like since the Katsu chicken is breaded to soak it in sauce. It's just gonna make it soggy now by the time I get home so I get home and it is very soggy just like I expected, and the sauce was horrible in my opinion not the kind of sauce that I would like on Katsu so now my food is un edible because I can't eat this with all this sauce that taste this bad on top of it. Now I've tried to support them because I met the owner the first time and he seems like a nice guy trying to start his business, but I just can't support when the product comes out like this and it taste this bad I've gave them two chances and I've been very unsatisfied both times and I will not be ever going back.

Must try!!!! The best gyudon!!! Chicken so juicy and tender and the beef teryaki perfect balance of salty and not too sweet! can't wait to go back!

Perhaps cook the carrots and peas a little longer
    Liz F.

Super disappointed! First of all it's not nothing close to yoshinoya lol 2nd the "don" meat need to be cooked a little more 3rd the portion i am so upset mine as well just gave me the bowl with rice and ginger nothing close to these pictures! You can't even substitute the side of potato salad besides remove yet still lying for it?! Not only that no taste at all taste just like mayonnaise that's all. I understand with the inflation & all prices are expected to be high, cool but dude give your customers what they paid for smh then i call spoke to the manager and he's so nonchalant about it and he said they weigh the servings that's fine perhaps they should invest in a new weighing machine because seriously I'm in disbelief right now lol 19$ is what i spent could've paid less over at shinjuku ramen now they're beef that's close to "yoshi" hence I'm from "LA" is with the price! Restaurant is clean customer service is great overall just the portion is what had me in a wow! Thanks for my 8 tiny pieces of tofu in my miso

Booths and bar seating available. We were quickly greeted by a delightful young man by the name of John. Who entertained us with stories of his upbringing and his haka. The handsome chef came out to greet us and explained the menu and answered all of our questions. He served us the Korean fried chicken. Very crispy skin. Flavorful with a little bit of spice. Sat on a bed of greens. Next we ordered the sea bass. Light and flaky. Served with coconut rice and a mole sauce. The top was crispy too. The sides paired well with the fish. Also ordered the rib eye mole. The steak was tender and juicy. The smoked mole sauce was so good. Tasted very authentic and we were very surprised that the chiles actually came from Huahaca (?? Spelling). It was a great accompaniment to the steak. It came with house made fresh tortillas. We asked for extra jalapeños and hot sauce and they were very accommodating. I'm not much of a drinker so when I asked John, who is also a very talented mixologist, to make me something that tasted like juice, he delivered this beautiful lychee "martini". The presentation was amazing. And went well with my fish. They had me try the pickle drink. The foam on top was good and the "margarita" at the bottom was good too. They even surprised us with tofu cheesecake. I don't like tofu or cheescake, but wow, this dessert was light. Not overly sweet. It was a perfect way to end the meal. The Chef and John and the other mixologist from Thailand were so friendly that even when we finished our meal, they shared stories with us. They made us feel like VIPs in our own private restaurant with a private chef and mixologists. We felt very welcomed and not rushed. Will definitely be back again for the top notch service!!

There's plenty of parking in the strip mall type of location. The restaurant itself is not that big. I liked the modern minimalist look, it was chic and appealing to me. The menu looks like a Filipino/Italian/Spanish/French blend of items and I'm here for it. My friends and I ordered a bunch of different items. Not pictured was the vegan steak only because I forgot and was eagerly eating my slow braised beef cheek. That was the star of the show tonight. I could have easily gone back the following day to order it again. It was that delicious. I also was a fan of their lengua salpicao. My friends and I were talking about how tender it was. I've had lengua (tongue) before but it seemed to be chewy and a bit tough, but this was nothing like that and it was flavored very well. Service was impeccable, Benedict is awesome and was patient with us and explained the different dishes. Chef Rang stopped by to see how we were doing. All in all, this was a great find. When I come back next time, I'd love to try their carbonara (I love carbonaras), chilean sea bass, foie gras with truffled mushroom risotto, any of the croquettes, and a dessert. The bread looks amazing too. So I guess, basically, I'd like to try just about everything on their menu!
