Large poke bowl. Protein: spicy tuna
    Kelly F.

This is my FAVORITE place to get poke bowls. Their food is always so fresh and the portions are extremely generous. I always get a large bowl and get two full meals out of it. For the high-quality ingredients, the prices are also extremely reasonable. Everyone there is also extremely friendly which is a plus as well. I tell everyone I know to come here if they're looking for a really good but quick meal! My go to order is: sushi rice, spicy tuna, corn, pineapple, krab salad, seaweed salad, eel sauce, tempura crunch, cilantro, cucumber, red onions, carrot, spicy mayo, scallions, furikake

I decided to pop in here for an early dinner as I was craving some poke and boba. I have seen great reviews on this business and wanted to check it out for myself. Since it was around 5pm, there was no one inside so I did receive pretty quick service. The employee was very helpful as it was my first time there. I went with the coconut milk with boba and she started making that first before my poke bowl. For the bowl, I wanted to do a BYOB so I could make my own creation. I went with a small bowl which it's a lot smaller than other place however I was still satisfied with the portions. My base was half rice and half spring mix. For my protein, I wanted the spicy tuna but it's chopped up so I went with regular tuna that was cut into cubes. My mix ins were cucumber, jalapenos, mango, and red onions. I added seaweed salad and paid extra for avocado. My toppings were furikake and I went with the spicy mayo sauce. Overall, the boba tea was pretty good. It was a little sweeter than what I'm use to but I really enjoyed it especially with this Florida heat. The poke bowl was very balanced with the perfect amount of toppings and mix ins as they mix everything together in the bowl prior to plating. Initially, I assumed the small bowl was too small but honestly, it was very filling. The tuna was fresh and did not taste fishy at all. The quality in general was very good. I'm looking forward to trying that sushi burrito and grabbing another boba tea in the near future.

We love this place! We stopped by for a lunch date and both did create your own bowls. They are tons of topping options. I chose the medium which is 2 proteins, my bf did large which was 3. Good pricing for a solid amount of food. The ingredients were fresh, restaurant was clean and the staff was so friendly! They asked us how our food was as we were headed out. We will be back!

The service was amazing. When entering, everyone felt approachable, kind, welcoming, and friendly. They were extremely patient. The place had a warm and comfortable feeling to it. The food was hands down amazing. The salmon was perfectly soft and melted in my mouth. Rice was amazing- everything was so good. I got an iced mango tea to drink & it was also perfectly sweet- not too much and not too little. I've actually been back since, and I'm planning on going again :)

Hey Gainesville Yelp Community! So surprised to get the first to review on this one! I traveled to Gainesville and upon leaving the airport, en route to the hotel, I was on the hunt for some lunch. After striking out trying to find parking down by the university (partially my fault--the rental car place was out of all cars and so I had to drive a pickup and was nervous by the small parking spaces down there), I headed toward my hotel in the hopes of finding some place along the way. I spied the strip mall (with nice, big parking spaces) where Poke Fusion Bowl lives and pulled in. There's a few eateries in this strip mall but a bowl and boba sounded like just the thing! I ordered their tofu garden bowl which is bursting with flavorful freshness. Packed with veggies, mango, avocado, tofu, and seaweed salad--it was a perfect veggie packed lunch. I also ordered a taro milk boba tea, which was great! The service was fast and friendly. They have free wifi and a few tables for dining in. The atmosphere is very fast casual so easy and just as good to take it to-go. A great first experience with this spot! If you're able to drop by and give it a try--would love to hear what you think! Get to it!

matcha green tea, peach green tea, Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, Bang Bang Shrimp Bowl

I came here the other day with a friend for lunch, it had a pretty nice ambience. I got a peach tea with lychee popping boba and the bang bang shrimp bowl and totally recommend for people to try it! My friend also got the chicken teriyaki bowl and the matcha green tea and also recommends. They had pretty good customer service as well.

I waited for them to reopen. When I come into Gainesville for work, I always eat here. I am glad they moved. Now there are actually parking spots! Yay! I love the owners. They always remember me, my kids, my husband, and my order and preferences. They are amazing.

The food was small in comparison to other Poke Bowl locations. I personally did not like how cold the sushi rice felt in comparison to the rest of the already cold food. I usually like the warm bed with the cold servings that followed. My partner and I did not enjoy the chicken. However, the salmon and tuna were good selections. The service was great, and I enjoyed how quick it was to receive our food as we went down the line. However, there was no regular drinks available so all that was available was a glass tank of water. This water level got so low that I had to tip over the tank to fill my cup. Overall, nice location, but few things to improve on.

    Sakura bowl

I got a sudden craving for a poke bowl on a Saturday night so I stopped by Poke Fusion Bowl on 34th Street. I went with the Sakura bowl, one of the signature bowls. It included sushi rice, spring mix, tuna and spicy tuna, cucumber, red onion, mango, cilantro, eel sauce, spicy crab salad, sweet corn, scallions, masago, cherry tomatoes, sesame seeds, chili flakes, and tempura crunch. This was an incredible flavor sensation of sweet, sour, salty, savory, bitter, crunchy, chewy, and smooth. Half of the included items I have never tried before, making every bite a new experience. The speed of the service was adequate and the staff was friendly. There are tables if you want to eat there or they will pack it for you to go if you're on the move. I am looking forward to trying more of their signature bowls and maybe crafting some of my own. Not to mention their dessert crepes. There is plenty to try at Poke Fusion Bowl.

Build your own bowl medium with tuna & salmon and of course the krab salad and avocado.

Great service and products. Enjoyed the heck out of our lunch today. The lychee iced tea was refreshing and went great with the bowls.

They offer a nice variety of poke bowls, salad bowls, sushi burritos, and boba. You can order one of their bowls or opt to create your own. The inside is pretty clean and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is attentive, efficient, and welcoming. The portion sizes are great, especially considering the price too! I ended up ordering creating my own poke bowl with a zucchini noodle base instead of rice. They have a great selection of different proteins to choose from including scallops, ahi tuna, salmon poke, shrimp, etc. I opted for the ahi tuna and salmon poke. The topping selection doesn't disappoint either. I decided on seaweed salad, avocado, kani salad, edamame, scallions, and bean sprouts. For my dressing/sauce, I went with the citrus ponzu. Which was a soy based sauce, a little lighter than the mayo based ones. This bowl was heavenly. The fish and seaweed was really fresh, as well as the other ingredients. The zucchini noodles were nice and had a good consistency. This bowl was just so refreshing and healthy. It had a nice balance between the proteins and various vegetables. I really have nothing but great things to say about it! Overall, Poke Station is a really good poke spot in Gainesville. The price point is unbeatable, especially considering their portion sizes. The fish and other ingredients were very fresh with good quality. My bowl had great flavor and I left full and satisfied. I cannot wait to return and look forward to trying more on their menu in the future!

Why I left a four star review: There weren't a lot of dairy-free milk options, the price point was a tad high, and there are too many other boba tea shops in Gainesville with a better price point and flavors.

We arrived later on a Saturday night craving hibachi and sushi, and it definitely hit the spot. I ordered the steak hibachi with fried rice, and my husband went with the lobster roll. My meal started with a cup of miso soup and if you follow our adventures you know I love miso. They did not disappoint. It was hot, flavorful, and tasted freshly made with good ingredients. For a drink I ordered a Long Drink. We first tried these at a local festival and fell in love, so when we saw a citrus flavor we had never tried before we were excited to order it. My hibachi came out hot and smelled amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce mixed into the rice was really good. I do wish they gave just a little extra sauce for the rice. The rice itself was a bit stiff, but the sauce helped a lot. We also came about an hour before closing, so we were not too bothered by that. Our waitress was good, and her coworker stepped in to help when she was busy, which we appreciated. I also liked that you can see the sushi chefs working right there, and my husband really enjoyed his roll. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms, which always matters. I also have to mention the water because it actually tasted good. If you know, you know how rare that can be. They also have plenty of parking, which makes things easy. They offer a variety of things including curated and signature bowls/salads, açaí bowls, smoothies, wraps, and some healthier treats. Their menu is quite extensive and they truly have something for everyone. Everything is also very customizable, which I appreciate! I didn't dine, but DoorDashed it instead. This was hassle free and not too expensive. I actually recommend going this route as you could save money through deals on those delivery apps. I will say, this food is slightly more expensive. But this is due to the quality of ingredients they use. I really love that they don't use seed oils and focus on using lots of whole foods. This is evident in the flavor of the food and the way you feel after eating it! I had to order their famous chicken caesar wrap. Their chicken caesar wrap includes lemon garlic chicken breast, lemon garlic kale, parmesan cheese, avocado slices, avocado caesar dressing, wrapped in either a white, spinach, or whole wheat tortilla that is pressed on a flattop. This was phenomenal and easily one of the best wraps I've had. It was huge and packed with ample amounts of chicken. The lemon garlic chicken was not dry at all and had great flavor. The lemon garlic kale accompanied the chicken perfectly and added a nice crunch. I appreciate them using kale as I felt like it didn't get soggy and the texture was nice in the wrap. The wrap also had a decent amount of sharp Parmesan which was just heavenly. The avocado was subtle, but added a creaminess to it. Then the avocado caesar dressing really ties everything together. I could go on and on about how good this wrap was. It was so balanced and there was just the amount of each ingredient in it, perfect lunch! I ended up getting a side of their kale & shaved brussel sprout salad as well, but didn't like this as much. The salad consisted of shredded kale, shaved brussel sprouts, carrots, cranberries, and maybe a nut of some sort (there isn't a description provided on their menu of this item). I was disappointed when there wasn't a dressing or something over it to bind everything together. With that being said, it was bland and not memorable. I think this would be better in a bowl as it's intended, not as a side! Overall, I was very impressed with Vale and they have easily become my favorite place to get a wrap from in Gainesville. I love that they focus on using healthy, high quality, whole foods, and avoid things like seed oils. It is evident in the flavor of their food. This does make the prices a bit higher, but you are really paying for what you get and I think the portions are worth it. My wrap my phenomenal and one of the best chicken caesar salad wraps I've had. The wrap was absolutely packed with chicken and had the perfect ratio of chicken to dressing to filling. It was a very filling meal and could easily be two servings. I will definitely need to come back and try some of their bowls as well, they truly have endless options to customize your own bowl. If you are looking for something healthier, filling, and delicious-- check this place out, you won't regret it!
