My daughter and I are first time Poke eaters, so we came into the shop after seen great reviews on social media. Very cute and clean space, easy to read steps on how to create your poke bowl. We chose the medium bowl, that comes with a base and two protein options, follow by sides, toppings and sauces. My daughter chose half white rice and mixed salad with spicy tuna and spicy shrimp with crab, I chose salmon and also spicy shrimp with crab. Delicious! I tried. I really really did try. I wanted so much to like this place. I was so excited to find poke in California. Unfortunately this is not Poke. It's sashimi or some kind of seafood salad that is portioned out in a scoop. On the plus side there is rice. Brown or white. I asked for extra furikake & the look I received from the employee made me feel like I was speaking Russian. After you pick your " protein" you are asked to pick your sides. The sides include corn, pineapple & carrot. I opted to try try a scoop of their seaweed salad. Big mistake. If you have never had Hawaiian seaweed salad you wouldn't know that it's supposed to have flavor. I was then asked to choose sauces. Sauces on a poke bowl??? No joke. They were serious. A hot mayo sauce was recommended. I declined. I'm Not a poke snob. Really I'm not. Unfortunately this is not poke. An employee said "its poke with a California twist". Adding hot mayo sauce & sides does not improve a delicious healthy food. On a positive note, staff was really nice & friendly. Just had no idea what to do with a customer looking for poke. A double positive note is Albertsons sells real poke at the seafood counter. It's the one thing I've found on the mainland more expensive here than in Hawaii. Worth the the money read more

I love poke but the first time I tried this place the quality of the food seemed off so I avoided this place and sticked to my regular poke place. However since I was close by and wanted take out, I decided to give this place a second chance. I got takeout for me and my bf. First of I like to point out that the customer service was outstanding and really made my experience wonderful. I got their special tacos with 2 scoops of protein, salmon and spicy shrimp and crab. And my sister got their medium bowl 2 scoops (salmon & tuna). They had a good amount of sauces to choose from. For our medium bowl we picked their special junction sauce, it is amazing! I also topped it off with spicy mayo and my sides: crab salad, seaweed salad, corn, edamame, cucumbers, smelt roe, green onions, and avocado, (they charged extra for avo). Poke bowl here is pretty amazing!! I had went to another poke spot in Palmdale before this one open, their bowls at poke to me are smaller, now i know why they give a free soup....I asked the owner about the size and it's only 24oz bowl. I went the other day for lunch with my bf we both got a medium bowl it is about $ 9.95 but it is really good and you can add a bunch of yummy sides and toppings to your dish. I'm a regular guest at this location on 2.28.2022 I got the worst service the server was in a bad mood there wasn't even a line felt like I was getting rushed her name was Jennifer/Jessica/ Maria I got different names I work in fast food also I'm a manger and this is no way to treat guest. She wasn't even handling our food and she was giving us attitude which is insane! Please fix your attitude no one deserves lose their appetite after buying 4 bowl and they where all horrible!!! The lack of choices is appalling. You only get four choices of protein (tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy crab and shrimp). I know other poke restantes with more selection in protein. The price for only four choices is drastically overinflated. First time there will not be going back. read more

Just ok. The rice was not cooked right. It was very mushy. I didn't even bother eating the rice after a few bits but ate everything else. The salmon tasted and looked a bit old. (funny it took us this long since we go to the Albertson's alllll the time, and love Poke.) I got a medium lunch bowl, with white rice, ahi tuna, an imitation crab mixture, a couple of different sauces, green onions, crispy garlic, seaweed, edamame, and a couple other odds and ends. (that was but a small list among a lot of choices) My wife got a similar, smaller bowl, but with avocado. The service itself was amazing. The folks working there were happy, very friendly, patient, helpful, and we all joked around a bit. If you love Poke, go here.
