Went in for the first time today. My 2 protein poke bowl and loaded miso soup were very tasty! I got the marinated tuna and salmon with half rice and half salad. Everything was very fresh and flavors were spot on! Only thing I would say is customer service could be better. The Filipino girl who was helping us was kinda rude. I heard her raising her voice to a customer when she had to repeat herself and that made my head turn. Besides that it was a good experience. read more

The prices are a bit higher than other places, and the fish isn't very fresh. I've tried a lot of poké spots, and the salmon and shrimp here definitely don't taste fresh. They have that cheap flavor and texture you'd expect from campus poke. For the price, there are better options. Even the imitation crab isn't good. Other than that, everything else was fine. The staff were nice and the place looked clean. Poké Bistro is a better option than this place. It was so disappointing that I felt the need to write my first ever review on here lol read more

my boyfriend and I have been coming here since the store first opened and the poke has consistently been really good. The proteins have always tasted very fresh, the serving sizes are very generous, you can get as many toppings as you'd like, and they do a good job to ensure that the topping stay fresh. The decor is nice, and the place is very clean.. the staff is also very friendly. i've had a good experience at other pokey spots, but nothing beats this one regarding the proteins, always being so fresh. so glad spicy crab meat was added!!! read more

I was SO excited when I saw this place because that meant I didn't have to go to University Plaza to get my poke fix. I walked in and two things I noted: this place is clean and 2. it is decorated nicely. When you walk in, the ordering service area is on the right hand side. I look to see the menu, and opted for the 2 scoop item. I did half brown rice and half salad. When I saw the fish options presented in their metal bins...none of it looked appetizing to besides the marinated tuna. They were out of salmon that day. The portion are good size, sauces are tasty. service was right on, shot out to Gaby and the young man who was at the register was very polite and well mannered. This is a great establishment! I just had a meeting with the owner and I was blown away by the professionalism of both he and the staff. He even allowed me to sample the food! Wonderful hospitality! The food is excellent! It is packed with flavor in every bite. This was my first time experiencing poke and I was not disappointed. Anytime you are in the Riverside area stop by here. I came in to order some poke in the afternoon on a week day. When I first walked in I noticed the store was spotless. Didn't look like many people ate their poke inside and were taking orders to go, which is a shame because the decorations were cute! I read some previous reviews about the poke not being fresh but that wasn't my experience at all. I will go back because everything was so fresh and everyone was so nice and helpful. There are a ton of fish, toppings, mix ins, and sauce options. I love that when I ordered avocado on my bowl it was sliced nice and I wasn't given a tiny scoop like other poke places. You have the option to get your poke and toppings mixed with sauce. Again other reviews said that they didn't put enough sauce but my poke was perfect. Don't let the reviews fool you. The fish was NOT fresh especially the salmon. It tasted so fishy and I've had plenty of poke in my life. The scoops were small so even if you get the 5 scoops it's like 3 scoops elsewhere. Service was good and the place was clean however not a place I can come back to. read more

I wanted to try this place due to all the great reviews but my experience was not the same. Went with two others who felt the same. First of all, the two guys on duty, especially the more talkative one, are extremely nice. The customer service is great. I had the 2 items and got salmon and marinated tuna. Tuna was fine but the salmon was like a mushy mess They were not chunks of salmon but rather a slimy slurry of randomly sliced pieces. Some tasted off and I had to spit out. They don't mix your fish in sauce but rather assemble it all and then squeeze sauce on top. The portions are generous and the other ingredients were fresh. I however prefer the kind of crab mix you get in a California roll. The crab mix here is more like shredded crab which is fine if that's what you prefer. Place is very clean. read more
