We ordered: 1. Salmon, Tuna, Octopus poke bowl 2. Sushi Burrito - salmon, tuna, cucumber, carrot, cilantro, green onion, rice seasoning, poke sauce, Sriracha mayo 3. Spam Musubi, Takoyaki, Ube Coconut Cupcake Very impressed with food quality overall. Fish was fresh and rice was cooked properly. I liked that the proportions in sushi Burrito wasn't too much. It makes the burrito balanced and more delicious. Spam Musubi was solid. I liked that the Takoyaki was a little firm and not totally mushy. Ube cupcake was moist and very ube-y. No issues with service. Plenty of seating inside.

Absolutely enjoyed the ambiance, but the food was lacking an abundance of flavor. The spam musubi was very dry and had no flavor to it. It was fully packed on with a huge quantity of rice, but it was disappointing. The Ube Queso was light, airy and not too sweet - it was prob the most memorable out of everything. However, I will say that their fish is very fresh and the portions of the poke bowls were great. Overall, it was very mid and I most likely won't be revisiting.

Poke Okie was great! The decor of the restaurant is so lovely and well done. The pink painted bathroom is a beautiful color. I might need to know the name of that paint color. The staff was soft spoken but polite and professional. We ordered the three protein poke bowls. I also ordered a smoothie. The smoothie was good but super tart. It needed slightly more sweetener. The poke bowls were very fresh ingredients and everything was very good. The fish was very fresh as well. We ordered the samoa donut and ube cookie as a dessert. $6.50 was a bit steep for a donut but I had to try it. It was worth it. Overall this would be a place we would return to.

Very excited to have a new poke option in Avondale! Poke Okie has a Chipotle style 'make your own poke' bowls with options like salmon, tofu, and shrimp with tons of veggie and sauce options. They also have signature poke bowl like roasted duck and teriyaki mushroom plus salads and smoothies! I chose the tofu bowl and it was delicious! Service was excellent and I'm excited to have a healthy lunch option nearby. They're located near a few other recently opened Avondale businesses including Loaf Lounge and Magnifico Coffee.

Place in my neighborhood is amazing that ordered the two scoops. Let me tell you it was more than enough to feed me. The sushi fish pieces were fresh and a big amount going back. Love the inside and I love the plants.!!

Poke is the ultimate choose your own adventure food. This place has so many vegan options plus meat and fish for those that prefer. Everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely go back.

Build your own bowl: mine had tuna, spicy tuna, mango, and a few other toppings. I also had the Floral Green Tea.

Excellent food and friendly service. The portions are generous and the fish tasted extremely fresh. I liked the variety of toppings offered, including some that I have not seen at other Poke restaurants like dried octopus, tobiko fish eggs, and spam. I enjoyed the presentation of the food, too. I ordered a medium sized build your own bowl with two different kinds of tuna. It was served in a heavy ceramic bowl- felt better to eat on than plastic. The utensils were also not plastic and the straw in my drink was reusable as well. These are small things that I appreciated and my overall dining experience here was great. I would recommend this spot to anyone craving fresh fish in the Avondale/Irving Park area.

I stopped by Poke Okie and ordered a 3 protein bowl. The menu was a bit intimidating, but the staff guided me through. In the end, I had the most delicious meal! I chose shrimp, salmon & tuna which was awesome. It was full of veggies, and the sauce was on point. It's a healthier option in the area and a nice addition to the food scene here in Avondale!

Really cute place with tasty poke and fresh fish. Great addition to Avondale/Logan Square area. Definitely recommend!

Thrilled a poke place opened up in the neighborhood! For the price (~$14-16/bowl) you get a substantial bowl filled with toppings and sauces over either rice or greens. I really like that the bowls are customizable, where you select a number of ingredients from different sections. The choices are varied and taste fresh. The interior is cute with tables for dine-in, but the poke holds up for carry out as well.

Best thing to hit Avondale this year! Incredibly fresh ingredients. You can build your own bowl or order a set dish. The owners/staff are super friendly and accommodating. Poke Okie is run by the owners of Sipping Turtle and the food here is as good as the drinks are there. The space is light, airy, and feels very tropical. Soooo good!!

The Alaskan cod sandwich was served on a bed of cabbage covered in a sweet teriyaki & brown mustard sauce with maybe a squeeze of kewpie sprinkled in between. The Berkshire pork eggrolls had microgreens & shaved radish on top of a crema type of sauce that balanced the heat of the kimchi nicely!! For the main attraction I ordered the spicy garlic ramen that was such a delightful mouth experience it really hit all the taste buds! The noodles were perfectly bouncy with the right amount of chew. The jellied egg was perfect and rounded the soup very well! The red chili threads enhanced the spicy miso broth just enough to slurp all the delicious goodness down! My husband ordered the Sapporo miso soup which had more of a creamy type of broth vs the spicy garlic. The noodles were also thinner than regular ramen & had a bouncy springy texture that just hit the spot! Since it was kinda chilly outside we also ordered hot green tea to accompany our spectacular ramen dishes. This place also offers delicious seasonal cocktails on the menu or hot sake if that's what you are hankering for. Definitely try this ramen joint if you are in the Logan square area your tummy will be so happy that you did!!

I got the salmon bowl, the salmon avocado maki, and tuna crispy rice. The salmon bowl was definitely my favorite. The salmon was cooked very nicely so that it wasn't dry, and I loved the miso glaze that they put on top. It added a very nice sweetness to the salmon and created a very nice char. It was pretty small portion size though. The salmon avocado maki was solid too. It was the most filling! You get 5 pieces :) The tuna crispy rice was just alright. The rice part was good, but there was a bit too much mayo in the tuna. The miso soup that came complimentary with it was good too! I like how generous they were with the seaweed. Such a nice vibe inside! It's definitely a nicer spot, but still casual enough for lunch. I wanna come back for dinner! Service was quick and server was kind.

I could hear the sizzling from the grill, smell the food cooking, and by that point I was more than ready to eat. Our server was really nice and gave us a bunch of recommendations. Everything sounded good, but I ended up going with the Pork Belly Yakisoba. This dish was packed with flavor. The noodles had that smoky, slightly charred taste, and they were coated in just enough sauce to make every bite rich. The sauce brought a nice balance of savory, a little sweetness, and plenty of umami that soaked into the noodles. The pork belly was easily the best part. It was incredibly tender and juicy, with just enough fat that it practically melted in your mouth. Every piece had those caramelized edges that added even more flavor. Then you get the crunch from the cabbage and bean sprouts, the freshness from the scallions, and the little nutty flavor from the sesame that tied everything together. Hahaha I'd definitely come back. This is one of those dishes that sticked with me long after I left.

I got the pork okonomiyaki lunch set and added a fried egg to it. I like that the table has a built in grill to keep it warm (I'm a slow eater, so this is extra beneficial for me). The bacon was quite salty, compounded by the okonomi sauce. Hoping the kombu vegetables would offset this, I mixed them into each bite to no avail. The pandan coconut mochi donut holes I chose were probably the highlight. They were crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and there was ample sauce for dipping. I think some people would find the service top notch here--constantly checking in on me and keeping water refilled. I guess that came with a cost: 3% service charge automatically applied, and the server proactively brought over a digital payment system, so the 18% tip I selected calculated off the total leading to what was essentially a tip of 23%.
