Seems like poke restaurants are popping up all over the place now, but Poke Spot was the first in the area and I think they are awesome. There are a handful of pre-made bowls (small or large) as well as a make your own option using white/brown rice or quinoa as a base. Your protein options are varied (I am partial to tuna or salmon) and there are sooooo many things you can add (edamame, cucumbers, radish, etc) it is hard not to overfill the bowl. Let's not forget toppings, either... from crunchy onions to nori flakes there is something for everyone. You can get delivery via some of the apps (such as GrubHub), but I would recommend either going in yourself to pick it it up or enjoying it there. It is small, yet pleasant and modern, and service is always with a smile. I'd be there 7 days a week if I didn't want to overdo it on mercury. read more

She went over their ingredients with me. She explained how to order to me gave me plenty of options to choose from. She was very friendly and professionally dressed. The price for two regular size bowls, one with fish and one with chicken or $30 which I found to be reasonable. The meal probably could've been split into two, but I ate it as a whole and it was very filling very fresh and good tasting just the right amount of each ingredient. The BYO Poke Bowl Regular was pretty decent, not really in the good or great category IMHO but guess it checks the box in the local standard. They gave very generous servings of food. The fish were fresh and didn't have the old fish smell at all. There was a lot of sauce on my wife's bowl but she did get both sauce and top on sauce. The spread of toppings available was great. People were nice and friendly, and food was ready very fast. I did a pickup, but the inside was cool and clean. I will definitely come back, since this one of the only places around with poke. I got ahi tuna and yellowtail with house poke sauce, mangoes and some other things. I'd highly recommend trying yellowtail and mangoes as mangoes really add to the flavors of the fish, as long as you don't get too strong of a sauce that could overpower the flavors. read more

The GPS led me wrong, but I managed to find this place. It's off the main road and there is a decent amount of parking. There is one kiosk and cash register inside from where you can order. There is lots of seating. They have a single bathroom, but it was clean I ordered a customized poke bowl with salmon and octopus. The seafood was chopped very small which makes it easier to sample all the ingredients with each bite. Just had Poke Spot for the first time. Got it delivered to work. I ordered the Aloha Bowl with sushi rice, add jalepeno! Very tasty! The salmon was delicious, melted in my mouth. The rice was very good it had a large grain and was perfectly cooked/not too moist. The entire bowl had some spicy Mayo drizzled upon it, but the jalepenos added a PERFECT spice as well as some additional crunch! (Honestly I coulda gone for some more jalepenos) Mm yum! The seaweed was also pro, it added a nice mild "green" flavor to the entire dish and mixed in well. The seaweed and edamame provided additional crunch that was just super good when paired with the soft fatty ness of the salmon. The Poke Spot is a great restaurant - especially if you want to try something different and new. All of the ingredients were very fresh. I was happy to see tofu on the menu, because sometimes vegetarian proteins are not an option. The restaurant was pretty quiet, so we did not have to wait. I ordered a regular spring mix bowl (which was huge) and my boyfriend got a rice bowl. We both finished our meals. The jalapeños are fresh and add quite the kick. Bathrooms were nice and private. Poke Spot is finally open in Manchester! Located at the Shoppes at South Willow, near California Burrito. I have been patiently waiting for the opening of a poke restaurant in my area.  I stopped in at Poke Spot for lunch! The place was moderately busy in the early afternoon. It's an order at the counter place and your poke bowl is made to order in front of you. You can customize your own bowl with choices of base, proteins, mix-ins, sauces, toppings or can't decide and go with their specialty bowls, is what I did. I had a BOGO free coupon from my local Spectrum and ordered a large Aloha bowl ($14.95) and large Mahalo bowl ($14.95). The total was $16.23. My bowls were made promptly after ordering. For beverages, they offer Coke fountain drinks ($) and free infused water too. There is also table seating and seating along the glass window. The Aloha Bowl had sushi rice, salmon mix in with green onion, red onion tossed in spicy mayo topped with avocado, cucumber, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, nori, furikake, & tempura flakes. The Mahalo Bowl had sushi rice, ahi tuna mix in with red onion, jalapeno, green onion tossed in house poké sauce topped with seaweed salad, cucumber, avocado, kaiware, tobiko, furikake, nori & tempura flakes. Both of my bowls were very fresh and had nice flavors, a bit spicy too.  Now I am very thrilled to have a place near me to grab a poke bowl for lunch and dinner. I had bought a bowl, ordered online. The bowl was delish. The next day, my granddaughter was hungry after work and she loves sushi (and poke). We went in close to closing time. The staff was excellent and cheery. She custom-built her bowl and I did mine. One minor thing...the fish was a little dried-out. NO BIGGIE. My husband and I stopped in here a few months ago, shortly after they had opened. We were looking for a place to quickly eat at after leaving the Subaru dealership later than we expected, and this place was helpfully close by. We were both really impressed! This is the best poke place I've been to outside of Hawaii. The tuna was not fishy at all, and they gave a generous amount (thank you for not skimping! This is my biggest poke bowl pet peeve). The other toppings in our poke bowls were well-proportioned and complemented the fish well. We were really impressed by the portions overall. I could not finish mine, and my husband, who's a big eater, was very full after his. Prices were very reasonable. The place itself was spotless and had a nice fast-casual feel to it. After reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Upon entering, we see that the restaurant follows a white color scheme and is very minimally decorated. Black wiry-looking lamps hang over the tables, which are hard wooden benches. We sat at a tall and long wooden table by the entrance. Also by the entrance is an "Instagram wall", which is a grassy-looking rectangle with the restaurant's logo on it. We ordered Large Ocean, which is ahi tuna, salmon mixed with green onions, jalapeño tossed in miso lime sauce, topped with crab salad, edamame, cucumber, avocado, carrots, radish, fried onions, furakake and nori. Daughter thought it was OK and that it was nothing to write home about. She thought it could've been better. We also ordered Large Aloha, which is salmon mixed in with green onions, red onions tossed in spicy mayo, topped with avocado, cucumbers, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, nori, furakake and tempura flakes. Daughter thought that it was spicy and delicious. It was her favorite entree of the evening. The orders came out pretty quick, which makes me think that everything was pre-made and prepackaged. I was a little underwhelmed with this place. I guess I've had better poke and was comparing this place to the others. Hubs totally agreed. He said that poke is not supposed to be just small diced fish tossed on top of a salad. It should be authentic where the fish chunks are larger and seasoned prior to being laid on top of whatever our accompaniments are. There's plenty of parking in the lot outside. My new favorite spot! Fresh, delicious and fast! I Love making my own bowl with exactly what I like. Try the wasabi yuzu..... it gives a good kick. Splurge on the micro greens, this time I didn't get them a I regretted not including them. The store is very clean and I love the pitcher of free fruit water they offer. I was going to give a second star because they were kind enough to refund my money at once when I called for their mixup, but due to the quality of their food I have to keep it at one star. I ordered 2 bowls today online, and they were very different. I received 2 of the exact same order, and couldn't even touch what I got because it could have sent me to the hospital. I am very allergic to mango. I can be around it, but cannot consume it at all. My bowl was FULL of mango. I got the wrong proteins, sauces, toppings, just everything, and it's lucky the mango was very visible or I would be contacting my attorney from the ER. My fiancée has no such allergy and was able to eat some of his, but he didn't even finish because he said it was TERRIBLE. Overcooked shrimp, UNDERCOOKED, crunchy rice (a cardinal SIN), disproportionate amounts of toppings (drowning in edamame, barely any shrimp) and some toppings like red onion he DID NOT ORDER, and either missing a sauce or seriously lacking it. We ate here awhile ago, like over a year, and it was much better but still mids. Complete downhill slide, super disappointed and will not be returning. read more

First time visit. I am very impressed by the simplicity of the menu ordering process. I ordered the "Ocean" bowl as I wanted to try one of their special bowls first. Sort of pricey for the regular size bowl but considering the amount of raw tasty salmon/ yellowtail in the bowl, made it worth it. I was blown away by the complexity of the flavors in this bowl. I did have them add cilantro to my order but I am impressed by the flavor profile of the complete bowl. My base was their brown rice. If you enjoy sushi then this poke spot is for you. This place is awesome, and offers a very welcome healthy-ish option on South Willow St. which is otherwise packed with fast food. Portions are generous and everything is super-fresh. Food takes a little longer than other fast-casual spots, but I think that speaks to the freshness and quality of the meal you get. I was inspired to write a review for Poke Spot when I found out that Manchester is actually their only location! From the sleek/modern design, I thought it might be a chain but it appears to actually be an independent restaurant. Great option to support local!
