I remember going there for the first time when they opened in Mililani. I walked in and didn't order anything based on just the samples alone. I sampled pretty much all the poke they had to offer and couldn't find anything that I liked. I normally buy something at the local eateries if I can. Well, it's Friday and I decided to give it a chance. I ordered the Hawaiian plate. It was probably the worste Hawaiian plate that I have ever had. You could do better just going to Costco and assembling your own. For one, the Lau Lau was either old or previously frozen. The lomi salmon was a 1 out of 10 and the poke was a 4 out of 10. Skip!!! I was excited to treat my other half to a good dinner, I purchased the Big Combo which included the Poke and the Smoke Meat plate... I brought it home and then realized they didn't give us our poke... We both shared plates, the Smoke Meat plate was okay... (Nothing really special..) It didn't have much meat, more onions and spinach than meat.. The plate we were most disturbed with was the Big Combo.. The shrimp was not cleaned it still had dodo in it, the flavoring didn't mask it. So we didn't even eat the shrimp.. The fish tasted like it was going old and it had a funny smell.. The meat was also not that great.. The worst, they didn't give us our complete order, the Poke was missing but after eating what we got we were kinda happy we didn't get the Poke because we would have probably gotten sick..... I was expecting more from Poke stop... We been to the one on Kapahulu and loved it, there's no pride in the food or preperations here... Will not be going back unless they get on board with freshness and quality control.. I want to give Poke Stop a higher score, I really do. Yelpers, I HAVE to agree with Dave N. when he says, "Are the Owners working?...you may find that the quality of food is very inconsistent." Whoo...great way to start a review. Ne? Let's get down and dirty. First off, yes, this restaurant was featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives." But is it up to par with the majority of the restaurants featured on the show? It has the potential to be...so the answer currently is no. So its famous, yay. That means many more potential customers may frequent the restaurant. But there is a big reason why this place isn't rated the 4 to 4.5 stars that it should be!! I'm gonna quote Dave again (awesome review dude!), "I'm not sure if the staff don't care about the quality of the food they produce or if they are just not capable of preparing the food at an acceptable level." When my girlfriend and I went there on Friday (October 7th, 2011) at around 12:30 - 1;00 pm ~ ish, our gamble on the food quality was NOT a winner. There was about 4 workers (it looked like 2 cooks and 2 counter people) on staff. One of the counter people, the girl, took our order. A "Surf and Turf" (Kalbi and GARLIC Shrimp [more on this real soon!] and a crab cake burger combo. ~~~~~ break ~~~~~ Before I move on to the bloody, beefy, hearty depth of my experience, let me tell you about some of the food that I had that was GOOD and fairly consistent (because some of it is hard to mess up...even if a cook wanted to try [hint: subliminal message]). 1. Fried Poke Bowl on Pipikaula fried rice. Hoooly --insert expletive-- batman! Deeeelicious. 2. Deconstructed Sushi Bowl. Also very good. Lots of seafood and a whole shrimp to top it off. 3. Eggplant fries. Healthier than its potato-based relative? Probably not. But just as good and makes you "feel" like you're eating guiltless. So by that rationale, yes, it is healthy. ~~~~~ end break ~~~~~ Okay, so on with the drama (Ooo! We love drama!)! Our food felt like it took forever. The girl who took our order had gone on break (I think). Not that that was the problem. After a few other customers left who I think were tourists coming to the restaurant because of its "claim to fame" on Food Network, the cook comes out from behind the grill top and starts dropping "F-bombs" right in front of the customers talking to the other counter person about how peculiar the tourist guy was about his food. Meanwhile, we had gotten our food. My girlfriend's crab cake burger wasn't anything like we had imagined. It was a crab cake...on a hamburger patty. A little, over fried nugget of a crab cake. Her combo meal was almost $10 and she gets a sliver of a burger with a silver dollar-sized, dry crab cake. Oh, taro bun, lettuce, tomato, sauce, onion, side of eggplant fries and a drink too. All in all, she wasn't satisfied. On to mine. The surf and turf features grilled boneless korean kalbi, jumbo garlic shrimp, rice, and potato or tossed greens salad. My kalbi was charred (I like charred) but on the plate is just looked awful. Like I got the ends or something. Also, were they supposed to be seasoned? It tasted great (because short ribs have all that fatty goodness) but I swear I tasted no seasoning whatsoever. Next, the shrimp. I thought I was going to get some of the garlic jumbo shrimp in the cooler. Well, I got 4 head-on (not that I mind that, the head is the best part!) smaller shrimp, like the one used for the deconstructed sushi bowl. That was fine but again...IT WASN'T SEASONED! It was basically grilled shrimp. Plain grilled shrimp. I ate it all. I was hungry even after I finished my plate. I didn't want to say anything because that cook earlier was having a hissy fit with his co-worker about some tourist who will never come back because they don't live here! I didn't want to make him more mad. I've worked with people like him before. If he is like them, they make life at the restaurant terrible. I hope whoever that was gets at least a reprimand for what he did and said to his co-workers and in front of the customers. It's actions like that that can ruin a great reputation and lose customers. I don't want someone who doesn't care about food quality even prepping my food. Let alone work with RAW fish. Who knows what evil they are capable that can end a business. I don't care if he was "only joking" or "didn't mean it," I didn't take it that way. It was unsettling to see that and made me and my girlfriend eat food that we would normally go up and ask about because it wasn't to the quality of the menu board. Poke Stop you're better than this. I know you are. Yelpers, go for the poke bowls. At least it's hard for the cook to mess those up. read more

Are the Owners working? If they are, I'll give Poke Stop a solid 4-stars. If they're not, 2-stars. I have patronized the Poke Stop in Mililani Mauka about a dozen times. After four or five visits, you too may find that the quality of food is very inconsistent. A definite hit or miss. What "I" have found, if the Owner(s) is working - Wow, good stuff. If not, save your money. I'm not sure if the staff don't care about the quality of the food they produce or if they are just not capable of preparing the food at an acceptable level. A while back, I ordered their soft-shell crab salad. The salads are normally already prepared and sit in the refrigerator for you to pick. I guess the salad i had chosen had been sitting there for quite sometime because when I opened up the container it was served in I was quite appalled. The lettuce was very old (brown and wilted). There was brown liquid ( im assuming from the old lettuce) sitting on the bottom of the container. Who knows how old that soft shell crab was! Of course I complained and returned it! Seriously poke stop, if you don't want people to get sick, avoid a law suit, and make a name for yourself in the poke industry, please ensure that you have fresh items in your kitchen!!! BEST and freshest poke ever! The Mililani restaurant is bigger than the other location, which is a small, tiny establishment situated in a shopping plaza. You walk in and you'll see a long stretch of counter that houses the freshest, most delicious poke ever. You get to choose from various tin containers of poke. The containers are never full to the brim because they use fresh poke and don't want to have any old poke sitting around in the containers. Chef Elmer is the man. He's great with people, works hard at his craft, believes in the foods he sells, is loved by the community (he's always on TV and featured in interviews and publications) and is great with his fans. I came in and nearly went nuts when I saw him working in the kitchen. He's really nice, modest and great at what he does. He trained with the best and he's very friendly and has the Aloha Spirit. :) Here's what we got: Garlic edamame poke: Like the reviews say, this poke is for the win. It's infused with sweet soy sauce and garlic. Mmmm. Bits of edamame are sprinkled throughout the poke to give it nice color and a pop of crunch. (6/5) Seaweed poke: Little brown tree-like seaweed stalks are sprinkled throughout the poke. It's more on the salty side than "flavorful" side. (3/5) Creamy ahi poke: Delicious! Bits of orange masago are sprinkled throughout the light, salmon-color cream sauce. It's delicious and very flavorful. (5/5) Salmon poke: I don't know what it's marinated in, but the salmon melts in your mouth. Definitely worth a try. (5/5) Sweet (Maui) Onions Poke: Definitely sweet, but don't get it unless you really like onions. (3/5) Out of Towners Vacationers get a lot of LOVE from Poke Stop. My bf and I came armed with free poke coupons (sign up for the VIP list and you'll get 1/4 pound of free poke priced at $10.95/lb or under). Because it was my bf's birthday, he got a free cheesecake too! I recommend the homemade red velvet cheesecake because it's a nice twist on eating straight up cheesecake with a chocolate Orea cookie crust. You get a bite of red velvet in between! Too much "filling", too sweet, and far too little fish in your Poke. Their Poke is not up to standards compared to EVERY Foodland on Island or especially "The Poke Man" in Wahiawa (on Kam, downtown Wahiawa, to the immediate left of California Ave). This chain of shops has Poke. OK. Is it good? Well, the little... very little fish you get isn't bad. It's fresh and good, but they use something that makes it a bit sweet. I don't like sweet fresh fish in my Poke. We ordered a large sized Limu Poke and it came with a good 50% fillers. Little fish. I don't want to pay their prices and receive 50% filling. That my friend is a ripoff. Save your money and go to Foodland or "The Poke Man". They, from my experience, are the BEST you can get. So much fish, great taste, and a very, very fair amount of fillers. THEY know Poke. Go somewhere else. Trust me, go somewhere else. read more

This is the first time I've experienced this. I let the workers know and all I got was a "sorry you didn't like it." The issue I felt was not rectified. When they first opened the food was really good and customer service was great, but I can't say the same now. The food is always inconsistent and sometimes not very fresh. I've always ordered the crab cake burger with eggplant fries, but the last three times there the crab cake lacked flavor and the fries were stale and super oily. My husband used to order the bentos and agree that e quality has gone down. For the prices of their food, it's definitely not worth it now-a-days. BUT, I DO LOVE their signature sauces and still go there just to pick up a bottle to add to my homemade dishes. Aioli sauce. Yum! read more

Im totally okay with picking out a rouge hair in my food and keep eating or overlooking a cockroach crawling on the wall of a restaurant....BUT I am a person who enjoys quality food. I have eaten here multiple times over the course of 4 years and I'm continually disappointed. And I'm not talking like 3 or 4 times eating there... Like maybe around 12-15 times. Maybe I'm getting the wrong things but when it comes to their creamy ahi or tater tots or even their burgers.... Meh. Their ahi is so fishy and old. Their tater tots are soggy and drenched in oil. I'm soo happy that we finally have a really good restaurant near our place beside McDonalds! This place is soo smart to open during the holidays,they must be doin good because right after they opened, the other stores put up their signs they are opening up soon too! but the plate lunches here are soo good! the garlic shrimp is ono and my niece loves the kalbi plate! great portions! soo much different poke styles to choose from! love the spicy hamachi! wow! I also really love snacking on the dried aku! its getting pretty busy here, i mean its kinda pricey but the quality of food here is really good! It is with mixed feelings that I write this post. Went here last night because we were in the area picking up cough medicine for my cold. My husband was hungry and I was craving Poke Stop. It wasn't a far walk from where we parked to Poke Stop. Entered the restaurant and my eyes went directly to the daily special board. They had a Torched Salmon bowl with Ikura and Kim Chee. My mouth always salivates for salmon and Ikura. Best combination ever! My husband took a while looking at the menu and deciding what he wanted. While he was perusing the menu, I took some pictures as most people would to remember the delicious food and to share it with the world. When one of the employees asked to take our order, another employee scolded me and said that pictures were not allowed. Mind you she was also helping another patron at the register. I thought that was very rude of her to 1. speak that way to me (she didn't say excuse me) and 2. scold me while she was still assisting her customer (again, not saying excuse me to the customer in front of her). The employee who was assisting us gave me an apologetic look and said that they would need to obtain approval for any pictures. I said I understood and left it at that. We got home and started eating our food. Unfortunately, that incident left a sour taste in my mouth so the Torched Salmon I ordered wasn't the best tasting salmon I've had. I guess I should have known. Been there, done that torched flavor at Genki. My husband enjoyed his meal. I believe he ordered the Taegu Chicken. I still gave this place 3 stars because of the creamy spicy salmon that Chef Elmer Guzman has in his poke display case. Although, on two separate occasions when we ordered this for a potluck they gave us creamy spicy ahi instead. I consider myself to be in top fitness shape at 47 year old, so yes I always watch what I eat to ensure my time training does not go to waste, after all 90% of the formula to being fit is your nutrition. Training makes up only a small fraction of you being in top shape. I came upon this Restraunt called Poke Stop a while ago cause I'm always on the lookout for healthy places to eat on Oahu so I can bookmark it into my head. Patrons may not realize the best dollar and nutritional value is what's on Chef's Elmer "Special Menu Write Up Board", I tried several of his special menu items and enjoyed them all. Last week I stopped by for lunch and just happen to just introduce myself to the owner Chef Elmer, I just wanted to ask him if there is any way he could bring back one his specials which was a Fish with a Thai Peanut Oil Sauce cause I wanted tell my wife that she needs to try this healthy meal out. Chef Elmer promised that if I bring my wife he will cook up a special request for me. Today I spent a total of 2.5 hours of hard core training: chest, back, legs, leap frogs, Traverse jumps, legs press and pull circuit, triceps then topped off with sprints, so by Lunch time I was really looking for a hearty healthy meal. After the gym, My wife happened to be home,so I took her and my daughter Alexa with me to Poke Stop Mililani, which is minutes away from our home in Waikele. When we walked in, All I said was "Whassup" to Chef Elmer and he knew what I wanted after I told him my wife was with me. It's been 4 hours since I had that meal and wife and I can still taste the Thai sauce lingering on our tongue. Next time anybody goes to poke stop don't overlook the Special Menu board, you won't regret it. If he is around just say "hello" to Chef Elmer in return, I'm sure if you kindly ask, he will treat you and your significant other to a fine dining type of meal of your choice from one of his past special menu item. I was hesitant after reading reviews but figured I'd give it a shot. I got the chefs special and the creamy spicy ahi for my poke choice...the poke wasn't that bad. The thing that bothered me was that the shrimp tasted old, the tossed greens weren't rinsed and dirty so I threw it out, and there was a caterpillar sitting right on top of the damn kalbi...it was dead but it's still such a disgusting thing to see...I highly recommend avoiding this place...I definitely will not be going back read more

We tried this place for the first time this week and have mixed feelings...yes, the fish is fresh, and yes, the menu offers unique items you seldom see at traditional lunch plate places, but I did feel that the prices were a bit high considering the taste of the food didn't blow me away. My first mistake was ordering the tempura oyster po'boy w/ remoulade sandwich with a side of potato salad ($8.95). Compared to the real-deal back east or down south, I have yet to have an oyster sandwich locally that made me go back for more. At first glance, the sandwich looked yummy, with four big pieces of battered oysters w/ remoulade in a hoagie-like bun. Unfortunately when I bit into it the oyster was undercooked, mushy, and almost cold to the touch. It was clear that the oyster came out of a bottle or was previously frozen. It lacked the firm texture of a fresh oyster then battered and fried in oil not quite hot enough to hold the batter. This not only left an oily finish in my mouth, but also an unpleasant burst of oyster ooze that grossed me out. I am all for raw oysters, fried oysters, grilled oysters, and deep-fried oysters, but mushy, half-cooked oysters with the batter sliding off is not my idea of a well prepared oyster. I tried to bite into another piece, but same thing...undercooked and oily. Ultimately I had to ask the guy to make me something else. I am giving this place 3-stars because the guy working in the front was very helpful from the moment we walked in as he sensed it was our first visit, and also because he was apologetic about my horrible sandwich and had the cook make me the garlic ahi plate instead. The garlic ahi ($10.95) was a special of the day and was pretty good. Perfectly cooked, moist and flavorful, the garlic didn't overpower the natural flavors of the fish. The ahi was definitely fresh and I was content with the side of white rice. It also came with a side salad, I opted for the potato salad, which was a little bland. What bothered me the most was that the cook was trying to justify why the oyster was cooked the way it was. He mentioned something about it having the tempura batter and that's what gave it the texture that it had. What? Mushy and undercooked had nothing to do with the batter, but okay, whatever....I rarely ever send food back but the sandwich was inedible and wouldn't want anyone else have to go through what I did. Hopefully they are mindful enough to take note of my feedback and either change the preparation of the sandwich or take it off the menu altogether. We would go back, maybe, for the poke. At $10.95/lb for fresh poke, we would probably go to our favorite fresh fish joint and not miss going back to this place. read more

The guy at the counter was not very friendly and ordered the surf and turf burger and it was terrible. Worst crab cake I ever ate only at it cause I was hungry but half way thru I stopped as it tasted funny and smelled bad and I didn't want to get sick in case it was bad. Ordered onion rings with it and would probably have been very good if it wasn't so greasy. My advise is stick to the poke. Attended Mililani Town Assn All Star Chef event and recd a menu from the Poke Stop station. I never knew that they were open for breakfast. A few days later my friend and I decided to try it. We ordered The Works omelette and the coconut pancakes with Haupia sauce. The omelette was packed w meats but nothing real special. The pancakes is another story. WOW! The coconut flavor was tasty. The pancakes fluffy. The Haupia sauce not overly sweet. I didn't like the paper plates. The service was excellent. The lady at register was friendly, helpful and accommodating. There r a lot of places that serve breakfast but the service was so good, I'd go back again. I think I'll be trying dinner there soon. My friend ended up buying poke for the plane ride home to Alaska and a Tshirt for her brother. read more

Been here twice within a month, both times were empty and very slow, but not a big deal. First time here had breakfast and had the Taegu chicken and waffles. Waffles had no taste and they didn't offer syrup. Second time, we had lunch. The person that helped us seemed like she didn't want to be there. Poke Stop is not bad, but it's also not consistently good. At times, their food can be seasoned properly while other times there's just way too much salt.....even for the average palate. After having tried a variety of dishes such as the Stop 'n Go Bento, Seared Ahi Bowl, Korean Style Bone-In Kalbi, House Smoke Meat, and the Shoreline Chef Plate, nothing about any of these selections would make us drool for more.......except maybe drink more water from too much sodium. Out of everything we've eaten, we're likely to order the Shoreline Chef Plate again because the seafood is quite fresh. Ironically, for a place called Poke Stop, their ahi poke NEVER looks fresh caught but usually appears slightly grey in color which is why we choose the furikake salmon poke with our Shoreline Chef Plate. Incidentally, although the garlic shrimp are delicious, they're extra difficult to peel. And in case you're a white rice aficionado, theirs can be a hit or a miss. Tonight's rice was very very mushy. As observed on every occasion we've visited, they're generally preoccupied with huge orders which might help explain the busyness behind the counter despite the lack of patrons. As for the ambiance, the acoustics are dreadful at the Mililani location. Whether phoning in an order or ordering in person, prepare to shout and be shouted at. One can barely hear oneself think even. Luckily, the employees are always fairly friendly. In conclusion, it might be wise for the management at Poke Stop to take into consideration the unflattering reviews from their most recent customers in order to maintain the level of quality diners are looking for. As we all know, resting on the laurels of past accolades just doesn't cut it in winning repeat customers for the longevity of any business. read more

This is a review on Chef Elmer and his catering. They catered my wedding a couple of weeks ago (10.10) and the food was SOO Ono, that we actually ran out! Here is what we ordered: Passed Apps: Braised 5 Spice Pork Belly on sweet corn bread pudding and Chervil Spoonfuls of assorted Pokes: Furikake salmon, Sweet onion ahi and kim chee tako Keawe Smoke Chicken and Mushroom lumpia Dinner Buffet: Steamed Rice; Roasted Potatoes, Grilled veggies, roasted beet and mixed green salad Slow braised drunken duck Red wine braised short ribs Baked snapper with garlic aioli and homemade char siu and cilantro All the food was bomb, but my favorite was definitely the snapper! It was also really great working with Tristin the catering rep and Chef Elmer was at our event too. They were really accommodating and worked with our budget. I basically gave them how much I wanted to spend per person and they created this menu for us. I mean, another plus that it was reasonable and the food was bomb! Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to thank them in person, but will say it now, THANK YOU SO MUCH Chef Elmer and your crew for making my wedding food so delicious. People are still raving about the food and some sad that they didn't get to try some things b/c things ran out. I guess we ended up running out because people were going up for 2nds and 3rds! They also had options for kids meals, ages 5-11, which our little guests apparently loved too. Overall, super ONO. I highly recommend if you need a caterer for any event, to call them up. Went to visit a friend out in Mililani and stopped off at Poke Stop to grab dinner. As a townie, we rarely venture to this side of town unless it's for a good reason. And I will say, Poke Stop is a good reason for me to go out to Mililani. I got the Taegu Chicken and totally love it! The chicken was super crispy without being too oily or soggy. I did wish that I got the Eggplant Fries. My husband also enjoyed his mixed plate. Service was so slow though. When we first got there, the place wasn't that crowded. The workers were just cruising. Then, things started to pick up and that's when service went downhill. We waited for over 30 minutes to get our food. Then, Poke Stop catered our friend's wedding this past weekend out at Sunset Ranch. And, the food was superb! The pupu's they served during cocktail hour were so ono. We had Salmon Furikake Poke, Spicy Ahi Poke, Somen Lettuce Wraps, Kalua Pig Wontons, and the real winner......Crab Cake Pops. I must have eaten 10 of those Crab Cake Pops. The buffet spread was pretty good, too. Asparagus, salad, Garlic Mushroom Steak, Fried Noodles, Poke, and some kind of creamy sauce fish that super ono, was served. Food never ran out and I went back for seconds. I didn't know that Poke Stop catered events like this. Pretty good stuff. Oh my beloved Poke Stop, i quit you! i almost punched anyone who spoke negative of you but now i have to side with them. Our last visit we ordered our usual steak plates and creamy ahi. Everything and i mean EVERYTHING was sooo salty! i love to bloat myself with salt but this was unreal. Like it tasted as if they poured salt on everything to give it some kind of flavor. I remember having almost am instant headache and my damn shoes cutting off circulation. sad sad sad. i could forgive them if the steak was crappy but how could the Poke be junk?! your name has Poke in it ?! i die!! A friend recommended us to stop by poke stop since we were in the area for the dole plantation. Best POKE thus far, especially during my trip. Never really like eating raw food, especially fish. But I couldn't taste the fishyness at all or even the stringy texture like the other places I've tried in hawaii. Sweet onion ahi poke and creamy ahi poke to go! Nomnom It was def a good treat on the go, especially before our full blown dinner. Wish I ordered more, but there was no way we could have kept it fresh. My party had a variety of foods Mom- (crab cakes with sunny side up eggs) Excellent! Generous amount of crab, more than Cinnamon's crab cakes. (Fried green tomatoes)- better than KCC because no line and you can sit down and eat it. Comes with a Remoulde sauce dad- (smoked meat hash with sunny side up eggs) not over powering smoke flavor. Generous amount of chunky smoked meat. Lots of onions, peppers, potatoes and zucchini. Different from 49ers since it is more like stir fry. I used to come here for the tempura fried spicy poke roll, which used to be amazing and my favorite. Recently, I noticed that there was less fish in the poke roll, but I figured it could have been a one time mistake so I shook it off. When I say less fish, I mean that the two ends of the roll had no poke in it whatsoever. A few weeks later, my boyfriend placed a phone order for 2 tempura fried spicy poke rolls, both with potato salad. At home, we noticed one of the plates was a Hawaiian plate... We went back and waited for them to prepare what we ordered, but when I checked the plate, it was green salad instead of potato salad! Also, there was no ginger!! How do you mess up an order TWICE?! I didn't want to be rude and confront them a second time though. Then today, I ordered a deconstructed sushi bowl and it was half made! There was only blackened ahi and shrimp over rice, while missing the rest of the fish. How does an employee look at the bowl and cover it without noticing that it's incomplete?! They also said to present my receipt next time for a free bowl, but guess what... They did not give a receipt! Not like I will return anyway. Moral of the story: NEVER EVER place a phone order and ALWAYS check your order before leaving because apparently I didn't learn the first time. Saw these guys on food network on Triple D and have been kind of disappointed with most of the things I've tried. I've been here a few times already and to me, everything is so salty! But of what I've tried, my favorite poke is the Creamy Spicy Ahi poke which has a nice flavor; it's like smokey and to me the sauce kind of tastes like cheese lol. The pipikaula poke is super salty but pretty tasty. I've also tried their poke bowl with the Kim Chee fried rice and the rice itself was again really salty and I couldn't finish it. I must say though, their eggplant fries are great! They're not crazy salty like everything else so I was happy about that. Most of the workers are super friendly and are trained to shout out a nice welcome from behind the counter when you walk into the door and thank you when you exit. The only time I had just meh service was my most recent visit when this one chick looked kind of upset that I asked for a sample. I was shocked because the time I came before, a different girl asked us if we want to try any poke while we waited for our food, which I thought was super cool of them. So service is a toss up, I guess it depends who's working. read more

Not one to write a review, with the exception of BAD service. Bought (or thought it was, dried Ahi. Or so the sign said....) Paid $15 something for a pound of dried Ahi, which turned out to be, the BLOOD meat of Aku! Found out when I came home, due to the taste and color of meat) Very disappointed to say the least! To make a long story short, returned it the next day, got attitude from worker (cashier who rang me up & boss lady...) Very poor customer service totally!!!! Vibe of the business has gone down...... Food at the original location has been so inconsistent so I was a bit hesitant to come to this location. Luckily, poke seems to be good no matter what (harder to mess up I guess) so we left happy. The furikake salmon poke is winnaz. Probably my new favorite here. I would still not chance purchasing any of their plate lunches until I hear word that it's back to how it was back in the day. So happy that Poke Stop opened another location. I definitely like their poke but I haven't tried too many of their menu items. Their seafood creamy poke over rice is good. I love corn so I had to try their Garlic corn, fresh corn on the cob tossed in a garlic butter blend. This was actually not so good, disappointing. Just way too much garlic bits on the corn. I wasn't sure if I was eating corn anymore! Their kim chee fried rice was ok, not something I would order again. Overall, a good place to grab a plate lunch and poke for that next party you're hosting or going to. And this place was needed to give Mililani more diversity in eateries. read more
