    Spicy Ahi Poke Nachos
    elijah l.

POKE! Definitely earned a spot in my top 5 places for nachos. The wonton chips were very fresh and not too salty. The poke made my tastebuds dance! This place is the definition of a hole in the wall that is definitely worth checking out. Once you walk in it feels as if you're inside the ocean due to its ocean like theme. Staff were great and the menu had many options. I just wish they had more poke options instead of 2, but boy do they give you your moneys worth! Will be visiting again for sure !

@fortunefoodfinds: "When I gotta RUN errands, this is what I'm talkin' about! Half Spicy Ahi n' Half Kamakazi Poke Nachos on wonton chips from Poke On Da Run. My TO-DO list feels complete, when this is what I get to eat!" Staff: friendly Interior: good amount of seating Exterior: on main road Wait time: placed order n' literally received my food in like a minute Parking: street Overall comments: wish they were open on the weekend, but thankfully I was able to randomly make a visit during the weekday. For poke nachos, they're at the top of my list. Always feen for it! Great poke, saucy, n' super crunchy wonton chips. Def a must have if you want poke nachos!

I haven't been here in so long that I totally forgot about this place. My cousin treated me for lunch & suggested we come here. I got the spicy ahi w/ fried chicken combo. I love fried chicken and spicy ahi together. It's like my favorite combo. The spicy ahi was fresh and the fried chicken was so crispy! I have no complaints about this place. It was really good and I'm craving some now as we speak! Always gotta support small businesses and I can't wait to go again!

Tried this on a random Thursday and staff was welcoming and friendly! We ordered mini poke nachos and shared the 2 ahi poke with kamikaze sauce. My husband and I really enjoyed the poke nachos, it was great to us, the wonton chips were great and we loved the sauce that was on top of the poke. There a few tables inside for seating, we were able to find street parking. Would come back again!

This was our first restaurant we tried after moving to Oahu. The poke was great and our favorite of the few we have tried so far. We liked the original poke nachos the best (what was recommended) but the spicy poke bowl was also good. The Mac salad was good, not great. We will be back!

Absolutely love this place. Small little poke shop with all the aloha! Felt super welcomed upon arrival and the service was quick. It does get busy around lunch time and street parking is limited. If you plan for that, you'll be good. I ended up getting the regular poke plate 1lb of spicy ahi and was not disappointed. The fish was as fresh as the vibes. If you're in the area, definitely worth the stop.

I've had Poke on Da Run bookmarked forever! We had a free morning so D2 and I made out way over around 10:30am on a Friday . Figured the wait shouldn't be long at all. We were right. Parking out front and only one other person in front of us. There were quite a few patrons already inside either already eating or awaiting their plate lunches. From what we saw, looks like we need to come back for one of those. We were on a mission though to try their Poke Nachos bc hello POKE is in the name of their restaurant. We shared the mini poke nachos and went 1/2 kamakazi and 1/2 spicy ahi. I love won ton anything, and their nachos are served over fried won ton chips. Win. The portion is perfect and the ratio of chip: poke is perfect too. Just enough that every chip had a generous portion of poke. Very simply decorated and cozy. I did enough seating for about 20-25 people. Will definitely have to return for a plate lunch and more nachos!

Sooo ono and fresh!! The kalua is soft and the flavors are amazing. Regular size could feed 2 people or 1 really hungry person lol. Expensive but worth the price.

I finally tried the famous poke nachos! And let me tell you, YUM!!! So happy I did because the texture of their poke is a 10/10! Like butter! So soft and the sauce they use for their kamakaze is just perfection! It goes well with the poke. I got their mini kamakaze half and half poke nachos which was spicy ahi and their special kamakaze one. So so good! My bf got their Hawaiian on the run plate and that was super good too! The lau lau had good pieces and the kalua was moist and tasty. The service was great here. Super cool aunty working the front.

Probably my favorite poke spot on the west side. Coupled with their hawaiian and local entrees this place is definitely a heavy hitter. Treat yourself after a hard day or a good training sesh! Also workers here are super friendly!

First time here. Had to do the poke nochos. The poke was well flavored. The wonton chips were thick and crispy. That means it was soggy even though I took it home to eat. Definitely a good thing. At $16.95 I wish there was a little more poke. The other big negative is that there isn't any parking. The front of the store has a sign saying freight loading only. I landed up parking about a block away where I found one open parking spot. Overall it was good but the parking situation really makes it had for me to want to go back.

Best poke nachos and loaded too. Their other plate options are also really good. Aunty was so nice and just love the service. Got regular sized poke nachos with half spicy ahi and kamikaze. Both flavors are fire but favorite has to be kamikaze. Parking is very limited.

I have 2 favorites -- Tuesday & Thursday.   I eat it practically every week and you'd never guess when you see it! Tuesday is the BBQ Bowl -- You get ypur choice of meat, rice, and a side (banchan). I always get the smoke meat with pickled onion on rice. The smoked meat has plenty smoked taste, just enough fat, and it's not tough (you know what I mean).  The pickled onion is the perfect compliment!   Love the bite and the vinegar taste -- cuts though and brings it all together!   They give you quite a bit in the bowl.  Definitely enough to make me smile!    Again ---- $6.00!!!!! Thursday is another winner in my book.   It's noodle day!!!  I used to get the Mega which had everything in it.   It was a special that they had at the beginning but it's been discontinued.  I think the only one I'm not too crazy about is the curry.   I know some like it -- but having watery curry with noodles is just not me.   The rest are pretty good.   They warm up the noodles right there and add all the goodies on top.  It's take out so they give you the hot broth in another container ---- perfect so your noodles don't get soggy!   I think it's a great 'buy and eat later' meal! I think the only negative is that sometimes the parking lot is very, very full.  If you go early it's not too bad.    The rest of the days they have kalua pig burrito, nachos, and the $6/lb food bar Friday.   With all the prices on everything going UP, UP, UP, it's so nice that we can have a good and satisfying meal for $6.00.    Thank you Foodland -- Food, Family, and Friends!!!

The bar countertops are huge in that there's more than enough space to have multiple food and drink options in front of you. Our bartender was very interesting, in doing napkin tricks and telling us of his bartending time in Vegas. A little rough around the edges, but cordial at the same time, true Vegas fashion is how I can best describe that service from him. As for the food, the calamari breading along with the salmon on the salad were both too salty for my liking. The calamari had big pieces to chew through and I was sad to see that the sauce for this dish was the same as the dressing for the salad (ginger sesame dressing). They must've ran out of the sweet chili kew-pie mayo. Nevertheless, the vibe was relaxed and lively all at the same time. I would come back to try other items on their menu.
