@fortunefoodfinds: "When I gotta RUN errands, this is what I'm talkin' about! Half Spicy Ahi n' Half Kamakazi Poke Nachos on wonton chips from Poke On Da Run. My TO-DO list feels complete, when this is what I get to eat!" Staff: friendly Interior: good amount of seating Exterior: on main road Wait time: placed order n' literally received my food in like a minute Parking: street Overall comments: wish they were open on the weekend, but thankfully I was able to randomly make a visit during the weekday. For poke nachos, they're at the top of my list. Always feen for it! Great poke, saucy, n' super crunchy wonton chips. Def a must have if you want poke nachos!

I haven't been here in so long that I totally forgot about this place. My cousin treated me for lunch & suggested we come here. I got the spicy ahi w/ fried chicken combo. I love fried chicken and spicy ahi together. It's like my favorite combo. The spicy ahi was fresh and the fried chicken was so crispy! I have no complaints about this place. It was really good and I'm craving some now as we speak! Always gotta support small businesses and I can't wait to go again!

Tried this on a random Thursday and staff was welcoming and friendly! We ordered mini poke nachos and shared the 2 ahi poke with kamikaze sauce. My husband and I really enjoyed the poke nachos, it was great to us, the wonton chips were great and we loved the sauce that was on top of the poke. There a few tables inside for seating, we were able to find street parking. Would come back again!

Sooo ono and fresh!! The kalua is soft and the flavors are amazing. Regular size could feed 2 people or 1 really hungry person lol. Expensive but worth the price.

This was our first restaurant we tried after moving to Oahu. The poke was great and our favorite of the few we have tried so far. We liked the original poke nachos the best (what was recommended) but the spicy poke bowl was also good. The Mac salad was good, not great. We will be back!

Absolutely love this place. Small little poke shop with all the aloha! Felt super welcomed upon arrival and the service was quick. It does get busy around lunch time and street parking is limited. If you plan for that, you'll be good. I ended up getting the regular poke plate 1lb of spicy ahi and was not disappointed. The fish was as fresh as the vibes. If you're in the area, definitely worth the stop.

I've had Poke on Da Run bookmarked forever! We had a free morning so D2 and I made out way over around 10:30am on a Friday . Figured the wait shouldn't be long at all. We were right. Parking out front and only one other person in front of us. There were quite a few patrons already inside either already eating or awaiting their plate lunches. From what we saw, looks like we need to come back for one of those. We were on a mission though to try their Poke Nachos bc hello POKE is in the name of their restaurant. We shared the mini poke nachos and went 1/2 kamakazi and 1/2 spicy ahi. I love won ton anything, and their nachos are served over fried won ton chips. Win. The portion is perfect and the ratio of chip: poke is perfect too. Just enough that every chip had a generous portion of poke. Very simply decorated and cozy. I did enough seating for about 20-25 people. Will definitely have to return for a plate lunch and more nachos!

I finally tried the famous poke nachos! And let me tell you, YUM!!! So happy I did because the texture of their poke is a 10/10! Like butter! So soft and the sauce they use for their kamakaze is just perfection! It goes well with the poke. I got their mini kamakaze half and half poke nachos which was spicy ahi and their special kamakaze one. So so good! My bf got their Hawaiian on the run plate and that was super good too! The lau lau had good pieces and the kalua was moist and tasty. The service was great here. Super cool aunty working the front.

Probably my favorite poke spot on the west side. Coupled with their hawaiian and local entrees this place is definitely a heavy hitter. Treat yourself after a hard day or a good training sesh! Also workers here are super friendly!

First time here. Had to do the poke nochos. The poke was well flavored. The wonton chips were thick and crispy. That means it was soggy even though I took it home to eat. Definitely a good thing. At $16.95 I wish there was a little more poke. The other big negative is that there isn't any parking. The front of the store has a sign saying freight loading only. I landed up parking about a block away where I found one open parking spot. Overall it was good but the parking situation really makes it had for me to want to go back.

Best poke nachos and loaded too. Their other plate options are also really good. Aunty was so nice and just love the service. Got regular sized poke nachos with half spicy ahi and kamikaze. Both flavors are fire but favorite has to be kamikaze. Parking is very limited.

Came back today, 6/25/25. We have been dreaming of the poke nachos from Poke on Da Run and today was da day! Service was friendly with aloha. Restaurant was clean and offers tables for dine in. We got our poke nachos to go. We ordered the kamakazi and tuna 1/2 & 1/2 and another with kalua pork, kamakazi and tuna. Everything was ono just as we remembered.

This place was exactly what I wanted! We ordered the Hawaiian Tasting Platter, which was perfect because it included so many different components of traditional Hawaiian food. Everything was excellent! The limu poke and tako poke was fresh and delicious and the squid luau and lomi lomi salmon were definitely standouts for me. I haven't had really good squid luau and lomi lomi salmon in a long time, and theirs was some of the best! The chicken laulau was huge and packed with chicken and so Ono! Their menu has so many popular Hawaiian favorites plus plenty of other dishes I'd love to come back and try. The service was excellent, and the restaurant is a nice-sized, casual spot that feels comfortable and welcoming. The only thing I'm puzzled about is their restaurant name. I kind of figured it would have a name that showcases their Hawaiian food or a better name. Definitely a place I would return to whenever I'm back in Honolulu. So cute, original, spotless & smelled good too. I ordered take out online & got there in 10 min but our 5 plates wasn't ready yet. The diner was full and had more take out orders so i get it... they were busy. But every employee walking around came to check on me and my son while we waited. And checked back multiple xs. Props to Mgmt for instilling great service skills in their team! Since we waited awhile i asked if my son could have a water but our order came out same time. Staff still went and made him a regular size water to go! I also didn't reaize the food doesn't come in bags or a box unless you check the box somewhere on the ordering site, but they were nice enough to excuse my newness & give me a cute matching themed bag. Normally you gotta pay for the bag, not sure how much tho. They have some killer daily specials: chicken katsu, NY steak or chicken bowl only $10.99 or burger & fries $8.99 (max 2 per customer)...who does that! Seriously a great value! Prices overall seemed lower here.. Katsu was good, short ribs good, fried chicken good (but like Japanese style battered and cut). The curry could be better. And i was disappointed in the katsu curry because the curry wasn't on the katsu, it was in a surprisingly small container that wasn't enough (see pics). My overall experience was great because of my experience with the employees, how nice & cute it was, & the food that I liked was good. I just won't get anything curry again. I'll be back for more $12 katsu! Oh & idk if I missed it but I WAS looking for noodles in the online takeout app & didn't find it. But their menu in store has noodles! Try check!

Loco Moco: 6/10 -- It was okay, but the sauce was the part that didn't really do it for me. I was hoping for a richer, more flavorful gravy, but it tasted a little lacking. Overall, the service was quick, easy, and fast, and our food and beverages came out without much of a wait. The Garlic Ahi was definitely my favorite of the two.

A little rough around the edges, but cordial at the same time, true Vegas fashion is how I can best describe that service from him. As for the food, the calamari breading along with the salmon on the salad were both too salty for my liking. The calamari had big pieces to chew through and I was sad to see that the sauce for this dish was the same as the dressing for the salad (ginger sesame dressing). They must've ran out of the sweet chili kew-pie mayo. Nevertheless, the vibe was relaxed and lively all at the same time. I would come back to try other items on their menu.
