First time I tried fried rice with poke and it was a winner. All different kinds of friend rice you can choose from to go in your poke bowl. I had the seared ahi with kalua pig fried rice. Because the seared ahi was probably the leftover shoyu ahi poke, it was salty, together with the fried rice, it was even more salty. I like salt but by the end of the meal it was kind of a lot. But I put that mistake on me, if I had gotten a different fried rice maybe, or even one of the fresh pokes, it would have been perfect. They don't get 5 stars because they have creamy spicy poke. Like spicy ahi but with a maybe sour cream? No idea what it was but not my go to spicy ahi. Back after a long absence but glad I stopped by. I was greeted with a friendly smile which is very pleasing. Looks like every dish is cooked to order. The price for the seared ahi bowl is more than good. Once my bowl was delivered the taste of the ahi, hot along with the kimchee rice has my mouth still watering as I write this review. Location: Little shopping strip right next to McDonalds in Mililani Mauka. I am glad there is another dining option in Mililani, hence the 4 stars, but don't drive out of your way for this place. This place has yummy and cheap ahi poke. My favorite is the garlic ahi and edamame poke. The cuts could be smaller and cleaner, but overall taste is decent/good. Always ask to sample the poke before buying though, if you want to be sure you're not wasting money. I also got the bacon mushroom cheese veal burger with zucchini fries. It was pretty tasty, but my gf said it was just ok. The zucchini fries were soggy after awhile so it's best to eat it asap...surprisingly good tho. I guess i wasn't expecting much but the batter they fry it in has tasty seasoning. The workers are attentive and approachable. Great place. Probably my new favorite Mililani eats. Poke stop restaurant can only be described as average. The food takes a long time for the kitchen to make and i would definitely recommend ordering in advance over the phone. They have a good variety of food to order but ironically i would be hesitant to recommend the poke here even though its a part of their name. It looks like they are very understaffed. Went here after a drive around the island with the family. We were actually excited to eat here until we ran into the young female up front on 7-21-18 after 5pm. I know she's pretty young so I won't be mean about it, but I'll just say that her bad attitude made me want to walk out and never return. Just an unwelcoming bad vibe she gives off and on top of that, no thank you! I had bad service before, but I picked up on the attitude at the first encounter. My bad, as I should have just walked! As for the food, the spicy salmon was drowned in the sauce and the salmon had some tough pieces. Probably would've tasted better if we didn't experience the bad service from the get go. Nuff said!! Poke Stop was our lunch today.  It's a lot like Fresh Catch....  menu, taste and service style.  I liked it. Ordered the SHORELINE CHEF PLATE.  It was advertised as Casian (Cajun-Asian) spiced Island fish, garlic shrimp, furikake salmon belly and choice of Poke.  I chose the Spicy Ahi Poke and went with tossed salad and brown rice.  All of the fish tasted great and the shrimp was good but a little over cooked.  The poke was good but didn't get a lot with this plate.  Next time we go here, I think I'll order just the poke with tossed salad. read more

Don't write very many reviews, but I feel I have to for here. I have tried about 80% of the menu and if I am being totally honest, there are things on the menu I go to other places for instead. With that said, the things I do like, I come back for very often. My top favorite in no particular order : garlic ahi/furikake salmon/hamachi(my favorite) poke bowl with sushi rice, the burger with the smoked meat with eggplant fries, blackened island fish plate, and the prime rib style rib eye. Excluding the rib eye, they all have a unique flavor and superb taste that cannot be found anywhere else. The rib eye I bought by accident, but is probably one of the best prime ribs you can get outside of a steak Restaurant. They do also make a good garlic fish, Casian fish, and limu poke. They also have great specials that really allow you to try different twist on common dishes. You come here for the food. It is very casual, but the food if you find the right thing will definitely have to you coming back. read more

So we both decided to check out this place. I must say they do have a variety of choices to order from the menu. There was three people ahead of us and ourselves inside when we ordered. I ordered already made salmon salad. My wife ordered a special for the day a Ahi plate w rice potato salad. Yes they do tell you to wait for your order in our car or just outside. We waited at lease 15- 20 mins for a one plate lunch. But I see why we waited so long and that wrong. They brought out our food, with five other customers that ordered after us. Stopped by here for lunch as I was craving for poke bowls. Tried their Hawaiian bowl ($15). I thought their portions were consistent with the price. It was definitely larger than I thought it was.They charge an extra dollar if you want to switch out the type of poke for the Hawaiian bowl. Kalua pig and limu poke was super good. It was poke with furikake rice.....which takes all of one minute to put together!! After about 15 mins I asked about it but the 2 guys working there didn't seem to know what order I was talking about.....keep in mind they were NOT busy at all when I walked in.....in fact there was only ONE lady waiting for her food there before me. The guy apologized and rushed to make my bowl. As I was waiting for him to make it, the kitchen seemed to have problems cause people were shouting at each other back there. Then, I see the guy check the poke in the case and it's empty.....so he goes to make more. I finally get my poke bowl......only to open it and see a sad little poke bowl.....and YES I've ordered this exact item before and it did NOT look like this!!!! I proceed to eat it and.......it DOES NOT TASTE LIKE THE GARLIC AHI POKE THAT I ORDERED!!!!! it tastes like straight super salty shoyu (soy sauce)!!!!!! I'm also getting crunchy bites of Hawaiian salt!!!!!! Sooooooo damn salty I couldn't even eat it!!!!!! WHAT A WASTE of time AND money cause it was a $12 bowl of SALT!!!!! Ugh!!!!!! I could give zero stars I would. We came to this place on the last day we were staying in Hawaii. 12/18/2021 around 5pm or so. First off the young girl working there was no help at all. She was lazy and in no form to serve a customer. She was more interested in us leaving. My wife insisted we try so we did. Big mistake. I was super excited to try this place after a family member brought their pupu platter to a get together (it was delicious!), but I was completely disappointed. My husband and I both ordered steaks - I ordered the prime rib style ribeye and he ordered the regular ribeye...we both ordered medium-rare. First, the steaks were well-done...okay maybe our fault for letting it sit for a little bit? But the texture was terrible...my husband said it was because the steaks were frozen. We usually buy the Costco pack of ribeye and freeze half but it never comes out like this...he said they were probably frozen for a while...like since 2020. First timer and based on the photos their food looked delicious like the Louisiana craw fish sauce (discontinued) or the large shrimp with the head on, which I went there for but instead got small headless shrimps. Probably the best tasting thing on my plate though. As for the poke behind the glass, they all looked like the top layers were dried out from sitting too long and the ahi had tuned a dark brown from marinating in the shoyu. I've been wanting to come to Poke Stop for a while, since I heard they have a great assortment of fresh poke (and plenty options). For my first trip though, I specifically came for breakfast. Breakfast is served until 11 a.m. during the week and until noon on weekends. It was nearing the end of the breakfast hour (around 10:30 a.m.) when I finally made it out to Mililani Mauka. I didn't know this Poke Stop was in the same plaza as Rise and Shine and Sugar Coated ... two of my favorite Mililani stores. Thankfully, I was able to find parking and there was no one else waiting in line to order, as I get really indecisive when there are so many good options. I think the lady at the register was slightly annoyed by how many questions I asked and how long I took, but then again, there were no other customers. Once I did make my decision, it didn't take long for my order to be ready. I ate a little of it there, then took the rest to go. This seems to be a popular take-out place, and they do catering as well. I definitely want to return to try some of their poke and other menu options. Here's what I got: "Fried Poke Loco Moco": I was so torn because there were many breakfast items that I wanted to try, but ultimately, this one won out because of the poke. I don't have fried poke that often ... so curiosity got the best of me. But, this dish was a winner; I would gladly order it again. It features two eggs any style and your choice of white or brown rice, along with homemade gravy all over. You can upgrade to fried rice for an additional $2, which I decided to do, since it was highly recommended by the cashier. Boy was this dish ono! I ordered it to dine-in but I ended up getting a container for it to-go since there was so much rice. I don't think I've ever had fried poke before this, and it tasted similar to regular poke ... except cooked. The poke was juicy, moist and super flavorful. The sunny side eggs were delicious--gotta love that egg yolk--and I loved the flavorful gravy as well. The fried rice upgrade was definitely worth it - the fried rice is full of veggies, so you don't have to feel too guilty if you down the whole bowl in one sitting. "Seared Ahi Poke Omelette": This was the other entrée I was contemplating ordering, but I don't love too much eggs, and each omelette is made with three eggs ... so that was the only factor in deterring me from this dish. Yet, I've never had an omelette with poke in it, so I do want to try this one day. All omelettes come with shredded cheese and two scoops of white or brown rice. If I ever ordered this dish, I would get it with brown rice and I look forward to trying the ahi inside. "Spicy Shrimp and Waffles": I do love chicken and waffles, but I'm interested to try this shrimp substitute. I would ask how spicy the shrimp is beforehand, though. If it's too spicy, I wouldn't hesitate to order the Taegu chicken and waffles because I love fried chicken and waffles. "Crabby Omelette": This was the other omelette option that caught my eye because it includes fresh crab. I love crab--the crab cakes here look divine as well--so I'll just have to brave those three eggs in order to try this one day. read more

It's hit or miss. A year or so ago, the food we received was consistently pretty greasy and it all had the same taste - as if cooked in the same excess oil. Then there was a good streak and I really enjoyed everything I got, especially the Bayou Burger. And then it went back to tasting greasy and same-like. It's crazy how we accidentally came into Poke Stop, and as i was checking in on Yelp. I already had this place bookmarked! I was soooo happy we decided to come here instead of Taco Bell. Lol. The Mililani location is amazing, it's pretty spacious, the food looks pretty damn fresh, and there's a lot of tables for patrons. We decided to have our food to-go. I was STARVING and just wanted their poke bowls. you can do a small or large bowl! i got the small for 10.95. It was the perfect ratio of rice and poke. You can also try their poke before purchasing. My fiancé got their Stop & Go Bento which has sausage, taegu chicken, fish & Kalbi w/ homemade kimchee. it was tasty. So happy we came here and can't wait to come back next time!! Dear poke stop and fellow yelpers, I am by no means a professional food critic or anyone important.... Im totally okay with picking out a rouge hair in my food and keep eating or overlooking a cockroach crawling on the wall of a restaurant....BUT I am a person who enjoys quality food. I have eaten here multiple times over the course of 4 years and I'm continually disappointed. And I'm not talking like 3 or 4 times eating there... Like maybe around 12-15 times. Patrons may not realize the best dollar and nutritional value is what's on Chef's Elmer "Special Menu Write Up Board", I tried several of his special menu items and enjoyed them all. Last week I stopped by for lunch and just happen to just introduce myself to the owner Chef Elmer, I just wanted to ask him if there is any way he could bring back one his specials which was a Fish with a Thai Peanut Oil Sauce cause I wanted tell my wife that she needs to try this healthy meal out. Chef Elmer promised that if I bring my wife he will cook up a special request for me. Today I spent a total of 2.5 hours of hard core training: chest, back, legs, leap frogs, Traverse jumps, legs press and pull circuit, triceps then topped off with sprints, so by Lunch time I was really looking for a hearty healthy meal. After the gym, My wife happened to be home,so I took her and my daughter Alexa with me to Poke Stop Mililani, which is minutes away from our home in Waikele. When we walked in, All I said was "Whassup" to Chef Elmer and he knew what I wanted after I told him my wife was with me. It's been 4 hours since I had that meal and wife and I can still taste the Thai sauce lingering on our tongue. Next time anybody goes to poke stop don't overlook the Special Menu board, you won't regret it. If he is around just say "hello" to Chef Elmer in return, I'm sure if you kindly ask, he will treat you and your significant other to a fine dining type of meal of your choice from one of his past special menu item. The average plate at Poke Stop costs about $10, but it taste much better than that caulky Phillips brand, and works four times as fast. You're paying for quality! Just one serving of Poke Stop brand seared poke and you'll be rushing to the nearest bathroom to be surprised that they turned your solid into a liquid. Seriously tho... very friendly service... food tasted good... know that there may be an aftermath. Several of my friends have experienced the same thing. The guy at the counter was not very friendly and ordered the surf and turf burger and it was terrible. Worst crab cake I ever ate only at it cause I was hungry but half way thru I stopped as it tasted funny and smelled bad and I didn't want to get sick in case it was bad. Ordered onion rings with it and would probably have been very good if it wasn't so greasy. My advise is stick to the poke.
