We found this little unassuming place on our last night in Williamsburg. So many good places to eat, but if we found this gem first we would have eaten here two or three nights out of the seven nights in Williamsburg. I enjoy coming here. I have been going since it opened and it was a refreshing addition to an area that I think is barren from similar, more healthy restaurants. There is also a location in Newport News, but I was thrilled when they opened one in Williamsburg, because they by far do the best poke bowls in the area. The interior is always clean and there is seating. The counter has all the ingredients stocked nicely and easy to understand. The bathrooms are clean and nice too. They also have a very interesting automatic sushi machine. I mostly opt to build my own bowl, but occasionally grab a sushi roll. I have never had bad service here, either, so that is always a plus. The way the counter is set up makes it easy to order, pay, and run. It is similar to ordering at a Subway. Certainly order from here especially if you like fresh raw fish. read more

I've passed this place several times on my way home from work and finally stopped by for a take out dinner. The employees are kind but they seemed a bit understaffed during prime dinner time. Only 2 people trying to take care of the line of 7 and incoming delivery orders. However, I applaud them on trying to manage both in person and online orders and staying polite and professional. The menu items themselves seem to be a bit pricey, but my dad seemed to enjoy the poke bowl. I got the tempura roll and I thought it was a bit lacking in flavor and texture. And I've had many combinations and have not been disappointed. Additionally, Poke creates fabulous sushi rolls. My favorite sushi is the hot tuna roll. There are Hawaiian and Asian choice canned drinks such as Green Tea and Lilikoi. The restaurant is always clean and neat, brightly lighted, and is tastefully decorated adding to their Hawaiian inspired meals. The portions are good sizes and prices are very reasonable. Recommend Poke Sushi Bowl for families, date nights, and older adults. Poke is a refreshing break from all the fast food and exorbitant restaurants in town. First visit here. My wife tried the Hawaii bowl but she prefers seared tuna over raw so they quickly seared the tuna in her dish. I had the house bowl. Our bowls were quite good with very fresh ingredients and tasty sauces. For our first time we just went with the signature bowls instead of building our own. The girl in the UPS Store was born in Japan and she said it is the very best sushi in the Williamsburg area. The restaurant is the same strip mall as A Touch of Earth, one of my very favorite places buy gifts for special friends and family.
