I went with my boyfriend and we saw it was a build your own bowl, naturally I got nervous I cannot be put under pressure like that haha. We asked for the most popular or signature bowls and he gave us a little paper. We chose our favorite and went to sit down. (Very clean and whoever was on aux or radio had immaculate taste lol) Music : reggae mix We chose the very top bowl on the paper, the ingredients tastes so fresh, the rice was cooked just right and the large bowl is truly truly LARGE. maybe enough to for 2 people or 1 very hungry person. Good for when you're looking for poke on the fly or something healthier. While I'm usually a fan of ordering online, I tend to come here and order in person. The guys working here are great, efficient and helpful. For me personally, I like bigger chunks of fish in my poke and their house sauce or standard sauce has some mustard in it which is off putting for me. The food is fresh, abundant variety of protein(mostly raw fish.) and delicious! wonderful flavors! It's a joy to eat and at this PokeCity. It has a very pleasant ambiance. The three times I've visited this PokeCity, I've been waited on by Ash. He is very engaging, helpful in creating your delicious order and he really goes the extra mile in making sure we have a good time. He is generous with his serving size. Today's order of Medium Bowls gave us enough for lunch and dinner! I highly recommend anyone looking for a delicious meal in a pleasant atmophere to come and experience PokeCity Cornerstar! This place used to be my favorite poke for the last couple years. It's terrible now, highly recommend staying away. The last 3 times it tasted terrible and just threw everything away after a couple bites. The first time I thought it was a fluke so I tried it a couple more times and it's consistently inedible, go to one of the other locations like the Glendale one, it was actually good. This is the 3rd location I have been to and equally as great-- quality, service, prices, portions. They are open for take away but, all chairs and seating is blocked off--no dining in. This is part of the COVID compliant precautions--masks are also required. I built my poke bowl, as I always do and it was just as I remember, tasty down to every bite. This place, was amazing! The person working whenever we walked in was extremely helpful. Coming from Hawaii you don't really get to choose what ingredients go into your bowl - here you do. There's sooooo many options, I was completely overwhelmed and stared at the board for a good while. The guy working politely asked if he could help me, and proceeded to tell me popular mixes and etc. We really took it step by step and got to make our own bowls. I got a 2 scoop rice bowl with ahi and tako (octopus), with the top two choices for sauces (I cannot remember them at all haha!!) and a tako poke salad with fried garlic and onions on top! Delicious poke. This is PokeCity's 6th location and is in the Cornerstar development on the south side of Arapahoe just before Parker road. You choose the size of bowl you want (large gets 4 scoops of protein, medium 3, small 2). The great part is you get unlimited toppings with any size. You choose a base of either white or brown rice or mixed greens (or half and half or any two) and then can add dry topping or soy to the base (something I learned at this location) and then a myriad of toppings from crab salad to mango to hot Cheetos. Every bowl comes with a side of miso soup. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is friendly and the price point is reasonable as no one wants "Just Ok" raw tuna, salmon, shrimp, etc. Definitely a great place for Poke. read more

So good! This is my second time here and both times the food and service was excellent. We each got medium bowls which also came with a cup of miso soup. The serving sizes are such a great value here (we've left other nearby poke places hungry)! We each got 3 scoops of tuna + a buffet of salads and toppings. Everything was really fresh, the restaurant is super cute (and more importantly incredibly clean) and the staff is very helpful. PokeCity is the best poke chain in Colorado, and this location is as good as you've come to expect from the other locations. I've been to the Greenwood Village and Denver locations, and I was thrilled when this location opened up near Parker. If you aren't familiar with where this location is, it's near Five Guys, the second Pho Vy, and the upcoming BonChon Chicken location (!) in the shopping center near Parker and Arapahoe. We stopped in during COVID times, and the restaurant was open for takeout only. It was spotless inside, and they were fully stocked despite business undoubtedly being slower than any restaurant would like. Our poke bowls were fresh, bright, and carefully assembled, and they were happy to see us. I always get a medium bowl because the large always ends up being way more food than you can handle, and you're never sure if you can refrigerate poke. Also, I hadn't ever gotten their teas/lemonades before, but we decided to live a little and spend more to support them during these rough times, and oh man, they are delicious. PokeCity has somehow managed to make all of their locations be equally as clean, good, and friendly as the next. I'm happy they're here! read more

After making us wait for a couple of minutes, we approached the serving area where the employee didn't change gloves or clean his hands before serving us food. When I inquired if those were the same gloves he used for cleaning, he promptly kicked us out of the store. Poke is my favorite food and I don't think I'm too picky, but this was like really bad. The miso soup lacked tofu (or at least mine did), the spicy aioli was kinda tomatoey tasting which was weird, and the rice was dehydrated and chewy. But both the worst and most baffling thing was that everything was SALTY. At first I thought just their funky ginger was salty but after I picked that out and mixed everything else together it was still super salty. I was ravenously hungry otherwise I probably would have deemed it inedible. On the plus side, the tuna was fresh and the staff are nice, but this was literally the worst poke I've had. read more

This place is my daughter's favorite poke place and I understand why. The staff here are friendly. They don't rush you and are happy to answer questions or make suggestions. The quality of ingredients appears to be excellent. A small bowl which includes 2 scoops of protein was enough for 3 of to get 2 meals from. I just ate here for the first time and had a pleasant experience. The bowls are STACKED. I almost couldn't finish my small size bowl, it had so much food. The small size is 16oz and comes with two scoops of protein and all the toppings (plus one of three salad choices) you want. I think I went a little too crazy because I couldn't even get to my rice for the first couple bites. I chose the house sauce for my bowl and it has a strong mustard flavor. Which I liked, but beware if you're not into that! All the bowls come with a cup of miso soup. I also ordered the guava lemonade which was delicious and not too tart. The lemonades and teas come with one refill and there are tons of options. Will definitely come back again! Great place for a quick bite. read more
