    Macaroni salad. Excellent.
    Nancy S.

Lovely little place. I had small poke bowl. Delicious and fresh. Hubby had pork sliders and was very happy. He does like a small serving,, three sliders. Daughter had combo with kale salad, macaroni salad and pork with rice. Everyone cleaned their plate. I polished off a side of yummy macaroni salad also. Would definitely go back. The employees are cheerful and helpful. 10/10.

This is a little yummy spot that is filled by far more locals than tourists. There are only a couple tables inside. I had the spicy tuna poke bowl. Nice delicate jasmine rice and not overly mayo'd. Get out and go for a walk, stop here midway.

Really cut back on the portions of fish they give. Charge like 6 bucks for an extra portion of tuna with the kalua pork plate, which is fine but when I saw the sides it was literally like a small handful of fish. When I asked if they could just add a little more, because I am used to them giving a pit more. Not even a lot, just a like a tiny bit more , they were gonna charge another 6 dollars... not good. Not good. The first are of previous times I've been here and it was good! I'll really do like the food and vibe of the shop. Feels like Hawaii... just very disappointed. Might be a while before I go back, or if at all. Also doesn't help others I have brought have not wanted to come back since then. This really does not help my case of wanting to come back here, which sucks because it's already hard enough to find good food in Denver

Service was quick, parking can be challenging on weekends- as there is no dedicated parking lot. I order the half rice and half kale spicy poke. The poke was a bit too slathered in mayo and the fish wasn't super fresh. Would probably not return.

Musubi, one scoop mac salad, and mini spicy poke bowl

As a local born and raised in Hawaii, this place is pretty good for being located in Denver. The spicy tuna and spam musubi wasONO! super fire! Unfortunately the mac salad misses, it was not what I'm used to (not as creamy and the seasoning was a little off?). The shop is located in the Highlands and is super cute! I loved the local touches in the shop. Service was great as well! Full of Aloha! -1 star just for the odd tasting mac salad (in my opinion).

Food: Fairly disappointed with our pick up order tonight. (1) Spam Musubi: you can tell the spam and rice were super old/stale and it was not good at all. (2) Mini Japanese Curry: we were intrigued because we got some curry in Japan that was too die for. This wasn't anything near the quality we got in Japan but it wasn't terrible. Not good enough to want/get again though. (3) Spicy tuna poke bowl: Rice tasted super old/stale. The ahi was super fishy and not fresh. (4) Mac Salad: The best thing at this place but I've honestly had better at other Hawaiian places (5) Macaroons: we ordered the 4 pack and received only 3. They were tasty though.

Get the Kuala Pork Mixed Plate! Good amount of food and good pork and Mac salad. Poke is only tuna so it's limited options. Small dining area so prepare to eat else where or they have 2 sets of bar table for 2 and 2 sets of picnic table Park parallel on road

Been on my list to try. Happy we made it. Spam Musubi was excellent. Large and filling. Spicy minced tuna poke was also quote tasty, fresh and sizable. Will definitely come back.

    Cute decorations on wall

This has become my favorite Hawaiian restaurant in Denver. This place doesn't just serve poke: although the menu is not expensive, I really like the selection of items they serve. Its ambience is so matching with the cuisine. Mint colored walls with cute decorations are adorable to say the least. It's quite petite inside so this place is more for to-gos. I wonder what it's be like during the peak lunch hour. The young man behind the counter was very courteous and friendly. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time of my arrival but maybe it was a Tuesday night?? After I had placed my order several people came in as if to jinx it. The Kahlua Pork is an amazing dish. I was truly impressed with the macaroni salad. I've been to a Hawaiian restaurant in Aurora but their macaroni was too decadent/rich to a point where it made me concerned about the calories. With that in mind, this place does a great job with it. Can't wait to dine here again. I'd definitely try one of their poke bowls next time.

:: Food :: The poke bowl we ordered was pretty salty, but beside that the flavor was there, and the mac salad was okay, it was more peppery than what I am used to. :: Service :: Customer service is good. :: Parking :: There's only street parking it seems. :: Restroom :: Yes, there's a restroom.

Super fresh and yummy! The tuna was really flavorful and not too fishy. Simple yet delicious

Kings Hawaiian sliders, mini spicy tuna poke bowl, Spam Musubi

Came for lunch and had an amazing meal here! Kings Hawaiian sliders were solid, but the highlight was the mini spicy tuna poke bowl - so good. Spam musubi was also great!

    Kaluha Kalua pork mix plate

I tried this place when I was visiting Denver, and I had a taste for authentic Hawaiian food after realizing Denver had lots of Hawaii restaurants. I was disappointed with the food. I received the Kaluha Pork Mix Plate, which came with pork, rice and a salad. There was lots of salad, which was a good thing. The plate seemed like it was slim on the meat, which was unfortunate. The meat I did have was fine, but it didn't blow me away and seemed like it needed more sauce. The rice was fine, but I would've taken more meat over lots of rice. The customer service was great and the delivery was quick. There was no way to denote the order was gluten free when ordering online, but I called and they worked it out fairly easily.

Also a nice treat was having a fridge full of Hawaiian Sun drinks (Lilikoi Passion too!). My bowl came out within minutes of sitting down and I ate the entire bowl in one sitting. The Ahi Tuna bites were chunky without being too large and seasoned well (a bit salty but I loved it). Rice was nice and fluffy. Overall, no complaints and I would keep this in my rotation for poke. Their no alcohol cocktails are just as thoughtful, balanced, and well presented as their alcoholic ones, which made the experience feel intentional instead of like an afterthought. I tried several drinks, including their no alcohol Mai Tai, Painkiller, and a few tropical forward options, and every single one was well balanced and flavorful. Nothing felt overly sweet or flat. The Anchored Tides in particular stood out with a bold, bitter profile that still felt refreshing. The food was also solid. The spam musubi and wings were both really well done and paired nicely with the drinks. The space is fun, vibey, and welcoming, especially if you're not drinking and still want to feel included. This is a great spot whether you're doing Dry January or just want a well crafted drink without alcohol. I'll definitely be back.

If I could separately rate the food, I would give it a 0. It is objectively atrocious and had our server (Will) not been so sweet, I would have sent the food back. The food came out within 3 minutes of our order, so we knew it was microwaved. The garlic noodles were bitter and had an offer flavor and we barely ate them. The chicken plate was the smallest piece of dry, overcooked chicken breast, wayyyy too much rice, 2 sad and dry rings of pineapple (honestly, out of the can would have been way better), and an undressed slaw. it was $23 and even at $15, it would still have been overpriced. The spam musubi was decent but honestly, I can't imagine how you could mess it up. We may come back for the drinks but we absolutely will not order any food.
