The service is always friendly and attentive. I usually start with a cocktail like Bristol Street and some chilled fresh seafood. Today, we enjoyed the sea urchin... some pieces were buttery and sweet, others had a slight bitter flavor. I think I will stick with prawn and oyster next time. Shrimp scampi is good, and kids loved the calamari and kids cheeseburger. Ice cream, banana sundae, and latte to cap off our Father's Day celebration luncheon. It's near Segerstrom Theater so they asked if we had a show that evening as they are conscientious to get people out the door to catch it. First of all, the harbor ocean views and interior decor are absolutely beautiful and airy. Love the ambiance!! Then our waitress was just the sweetest and made the experience so pleasant and warm. Finally, the FOOD. Omg - it's hard to be impressed by brunch food because you often get the feeling that you can just make it at home. But the food here was a culinary experience not easily replicated at home. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly.
