Defiantly one of the best poke spots in Orange County. The fish is very good quality and the veggies are fresh. The only down side is that they're pretty stingy on the portions in comparison to other poke places. But other than that, the poke bowl itself is very good! read more

A co-worker let me have a bite from her bowl a few weeks ago and that's all I needed to convince me this place was good. I ordered my first bowl today and I'm officially hooked! I had back to back meetings today and was glad to find out they delivered. Unlike some other restaurants in Irvine, the delivery fee was more than fair (under 3 bucks but they do include tip in your total which still made it less than most delivery fees). Ordering online was super easy and you have your choice of payment methods including COD and Paypal. The delivery was quick too, even for it being the middle of the lunch rush. The fish was fresh, the amount of sides/toppings was good and the flavors were on point! If you like poki/poke bowls, I cannot recommend this place more! read more

Pokenoya is one of my go-to lunch spots since it's conveniently located down the street from my office. You have two poke bowl size options: Regular which comes with 3 scoops of fish for $8.5 or Large which comes with 5 scoops of fish for $12. I go with regular with half salad and brown rice. Imitation crab and guacamole are all free which is a plus. They offer all the typical fish options, but I usually go with spicy salmon, regular salmon, and albacore. Unfortunately, they do not offer yellowtail. Their fish is quite fresh. Their sauces have nothing unique to them but are still quite tasty. Their house sauce is soy based with sesame oil and your choice level of spiciness. They also offer spicy mayo and habanero mayo. Be sure to tell them to go easy on the sauce as they tend to over do it and you don't want your bowl to be soaked with sauce. After you pick your sauce, you get to pick as many toppings as you desire (ginger, masago, green onion, fried onions, furikake, sesame seeds, seaweed salad). read more

Love the selection of spicy or not spicy salmon, spicy or not spicy tuna, crab, octopus, etc, lots of toppings (no garlic chips but they have onion chips), and they don't weigh anything which is nice. Friendly staff too. The negatives are it's location in an industrial park, and the eating area is tiny and cramped so I ate in my car. If I was in the area, I might stop but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way. read more

This is my absolute FAVORITE poke place. The staff are always friendly and their food never disappoints. I refer Pokenoya to everyone. It is a very small location with limited seating so 99% of the time I order it to go. They have different levels of spicy and I always get "spicy". I think its the perfect level of spicy that you can still tolerate eating. Pricing is very comparable to other poke places in the area but I feel their portions are best. My only complaint is that I wish it were open on weekends :). read more

Can have longer lines that move a bit slowly during the busy periods but the food is always fresh and never disappoints. Recommend ordering ahead to pick-up. Their spice levels aren't that hot but if you add in the spicy mayo and ask them to mix it in gives it a little more kick. Awesome find by my co-worker! Great value, fresh ingredients, and tasty toppings! The line is usually out the door but they are super quick at getting you back out the door (so long as you don't hem and haw over what you want in your bowl.) Only downfall for me is that they don't have fountain drinks, only a small fridge with a variety of bottled and canned drinks. They take cards and cash! Convenient for that friend that you know, always forgets their cash! LOL read more

Good Poke, it tastes good. However, spring mix generally does not have romaine lettuce. Usually poke bowls have spring mix salad without the romaine. Not eating my bowl comfortably especially with the romaine lettuce outbreak. I ordered this for delivery and it said "spring mix". Wish I knew. read more

I love Pokenoya! I work close by and is my go-to spot for a quick poke bowl for lunch. I recommend ordering online beforehand and then going to pick it up - you can just head right to the register and skip the line, which can get pretty long, especially at peak lunch hours. read more

Came here because I heard they had tofu on their menu, which is rare for a Poke place, so I thought this place would be more friendly towards vegetarians than other Poke places. However when I came they had no tofu at all, and with a regular bowl you choose 3 proteins, but without tofu, I ended up doubling up on the edamame and tamago, the only two other proteins I could eat as a vegetarian. read more

Of all the poke places I've been to, I think this one was the best overall. Pokenoya has the best mix of price, portion, and quality. Their offerings aren't very unique, but they do the basics extremely well. I like that they give the avocado and crab meat for free as some other places don't give this. read more

Small place, kind of hidden but their poke bowls are outstanding at a decent price. I've tried 3 other poke places in Irvine but either theirs aren't as great, more expensive, or try to charge more for add-on toppings. Everything here tastes fresh and staffs are helpful in helping you choose as well. read more

Poke crazy, sauces were great which can be a hit or kiss for me. I would like the fish to be a bigger dice and edamame to be a topping not an actual protein choice. Guy brought me lemon cucumber water outside which was really nice. I will be back forsure. read more
