Came across this poke place while on the way to Newport for an appointment & was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish. When I arrived, there were no customers so I was skeptical but decided to give it a try anyways. The ambiance was clean and simple with minimal decor. They had plenty of seating inside and outside. Ordering was simple, they had step by step instructions on their menu. I opted for a small bowl with half salad and half white rice. The salad was nice and fresh, and the rice was hot & soft but not mushy. I chose the salmon and tuna for my protein choices which tasted quite fresh. I chose a mild spice level which was perfect for me because it didn't overwhelm me with spice. They offered plenty of toppings which was nice but the mango didn't taste fresh which was fine because it added a sweetness to the bowl. It did seem quite pricey for the portion of fish you get. My total came out to $17.72 for my small bowl but I enjoyed my meal regardless. If you're in the area and are looking to have poke then Poki Bowl is a good place to try out.

UNDERRATED POKE SPOT!!! This place makes a delicious poke bowl! I got the small bowl with white rice and it comes with two scopes of protein. They are very generous with their scopes of protein and scopes of the sides. It's very good quality of fish and sides. It's a very filling bowl as well. I went on Saturday and it was not very busy, but there was only one worker so keep that in mind. I would definitely be back for another bowl! Great poke bowl spot!

Good bowl I got here. Nice they offer no extra cost on avocado. Love the service but fairly slow to get. Simple outlook though honestly.

Small poke bowl with 2 proteins (ahi tuna & yellowfish) on a bed of half brown rice/half chips.... and LOTS of toppings!

My boyfriend & I love poke and we're eager to try this place. I appreciate how the owners focus on quality - from their choice of fish to the types of containers & chopsticks. I was delighted they offer chips as a base & mango as one of their toppings. I opted half brown rice & half chips (to try something new). The small was enough to satisfy my hunger. I liked the Mido dressing and eel sauce combo on top of my concoction - as it balanced sweet & savory. My boyfriend really liked how the spicy tuna came in chunks (instead of minced). The staff is friendly and the place is very clean. We're coming back again!

Grand Opening today (Saturday 05/25) & 1st Visit to any Poki Bowl. The fish was good along with the selection of sides to add. I actually had a bone in one of the albacore pieces, so I know it was fresh. The process in making the Poki Bowl was really simple, easy, tasty, & delicious. The service was great and ppl are smiling all the time. Clean and roomy. Pricing today $17.95 for 3 scoops of protein: Spicy Tuna, Tuna, & Albacore (okay so I love tuna any way it's made). What's astonishing was the priced add-ons: edamame & seaweed salad $1.25 .... SOOO basically I paid almost $20 for a basic Poki Bowl. ....... Menu on Yelp says $18.95. ..... Sorry to say, there are many pokie bowl establishments charging much less than & do not charge extra for either edamame OR seaweed salad. Great pokie bowl? For me, I've had better. Price competitive? A definite NO! Fresh choices? OH yeah! Recommend trying at least once and you be the judge. Happy Poki Bowl & Fight On!!!

The eggs were poached perfectly, and the salmon wasn't overly fishy at all. The hollandaise wasn't super traditional and leaned a bit thicker than expected, but it was still very well-seasoned and worked surprisingly well with the dish. We also ordered the Khao Yum Kai Zabb, which was absolutely incredible. The sauce drenching the fried chicken was super flavorful and really unique. It had a more acidic/vinegar-forward flavor that reminded me a bit of a Filipino dish, plus a strong fried shallot flavor that made it even better. Also have to shout out the Thai tea--it was delicious, and they definitely do not skimp on the tea flavor. So many places make it overly sweet, but this one had a strong tea taste that I loved. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes here!

When it came to the table, every single dish completely delivered on flavor and presentation. We shared the rich pork tomahawk, the highly addictive garlic noodles with prawns, the beautifully glazed chicken wings, and a bright, fresh ceviche. I have come to Ini a couple of times whenever I stop by the Orange County area, and my graduation dinner was no exception. What makes them so unique is their perfect balance between Asian flavors and Italian classics. Everything I have tasted here has been delicious and has exceeded my expectations. Something I appreciate, besides the aesthetic interior, is their unique selection of dishes ranging from innovative pizzas, creamy and original pastas, and bright, flavorful appetizers. Here are a couple of items that I want to shout out: First, the truffle honey bread. I really appreciated the crispiness of the cheese on top and the bounciness of the fluffy bread paired with the sweetness of the honey. It creates a very balanced bite that keeps you wanting more. The raw salmon appetizer was a huge hit with our table. The citrus paired very well with the salmon itself, and even though this is a common appetizer at many fusion restaurants, they really do it right. The beef carpaccio was a great fusion dish and a wonderful nod to the Asian flavors that inspired them. This is a dish I have ordered multiple times, and it always hits the spot. Out of all the pizzas, I enjoyed the mala lamb the most. It actually was not too spicy, with a nice peppery flavor. Sometimes lamb can be a bit overpowering; however, when topped with the mala honey, everything balanced out perfectly. I also want to note that I have never seen this flavor combination anywhere else, and I think it is definitely something you need to try if you are here. The short rib gnocchi was another favorite of mine. The gnocchi was fluffy and cloud-like and paired really well with the umami-rich, savory flavor of the short rib. The meat itself was very tender and pulled apart easily, making every bite delicious. There are other dishes I could mention, but I do want to shout out the scallop risotto. This one definitely surprised me, as I am not usually a big risotto eater. I appreciated the creaminess of the rice mixed with the scallop, and even though it was a cream-based dish, it did not feel heavy at all. The service was very friendly, and everything came out in a timely manner, which I especially appreciated considering we had a big group. Overall, I will always try to find a reason to come back here, as this place really does take the cake for me when it comes to Kei concept restaurants.

I also appreciate how on top of it the servers always are and how they make sure you are well taken care of. Nep is known for their Banh Mi Chao, which is kind of like Bo Ne but with an "everything but the kitchen sink" vibe. The tenderness of the beef mixes so well with the sauce, tomatoes, and pâté, while the banh mi acts as the perfect dipping vessel that ties everything together. Besides the Banh Mi Chao, there are so many other dishes that are equally mouthwatering, such as their Crab Toast (with a generous amount of crab and a creamy mouthfeel) and their new steamed egg dish with pork floss (a salty flavor balanced with custardy egg).
