Salmon Sashimi
Thomas M.

I stopped into Crazy Rock 'N Sushi today for lunch, and I was not disappointed! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was cozy and clean with Madonna playing on the stereo.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was fast and friendly, with everyone helping out with bringing food and the check. I ordered the Tuna Tacos for an appetizer, yum! Three tacos came out on a bed of panko flakes. The tuna was served on light and delicately crisp shells, drizzled with Japanese mayo. Next was the trio of salmon sashimi, thick cut, and buttery. Lastly, I ordered the House Roll - Tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and avocado wrapped with cucumber Served with House sauce. It was a delightful lunch! I will be back to try more rolls and appetizers. Enjoy!

Didn't love the sushi. The lunch special is good value for sure but sushi just didn't taste that great- tasted like Lower end pre-frozen fish recently defrosted (vs fresh sashimi I am usually used to). Service was also particularly slow (it was a 2 pm weekday lunch, only other 2 tables were occupied when we arrived). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Space is cozy and welcoming[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . I would not go back.

Soooo disappointed so bad. Ordered take out. First off, I ordered the Mango Salmon roll because of what it has listed: Salmon avocado and cream cheese. It was only salmon and mango. The salmon tasted of nothing special at all. Next I got spicy tuna crispy rice that truly tasted awful I couldn't even finish it :/ The spicy tuna tasted fishy beyond belief. Super upset by misleading menu/ingredients and fish that tasted like it went bad

It was pretty average. Better than grocery market sushi quality. Several of the rolls had shifted over in the container. It's a convenient delivery option for a quick sushi fix. The menu had variety.

The sushi chef gave the recommendation of the spider roll and it was unbelievable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was very clean and organized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm definitely coming back

Good experience! This was a unique one. Started off a little rough as they seemed very understaffed, but they came through. My spouse and I felt like things were lagging and it took us a long time to get our edamame we ordered. We couldn't tell if they were just incredibly behind or if they gave our edamame to the wrong tables, but it got to the point where we were about 90% done with our dinner and then they finally brought it out. The staff had good intuition because low-key I was getting a little frustrated, but without even asking they comped it for us and we're incredibly attentive for the remainder of the night. I really appreciate things like that. Overall, their rolls are quite large. Between myself and my spouse, we ordered 3 rolls and couldn't finish it. 2 could of sufficed but 3 ended up being more variety. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'd come back here again, it's a chill spot and it doesn't seem overly fancy or bougie which I appreciate as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Food was phenomenal! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service seems kind of avoidant and made the ambiance a little weak and depressing but it's still a cutely decorated and quick place to get food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Red Spider: 8/10 Red Dragon: 7.5/10 Hungry Sweetie: 10/10

The food was so good and the servings were big. Like the prices definitely reflect what you get. Also Pam WASSSS AMAZINGGGG. She was extremely kind and helpful over the phone. Our server I think his name was David was also extremely helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music ??? GOOOOOD.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes were so good and the chefs were also so kind and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 100/10 recommend My friend is also gluten free and they were so accommodating and helpful in helping her

Decent sushi place with solid dishes. My friend and I came here for lunch on a Sunday. We came right at opening so there was no wait! The restaurant itself is spacious with table and bar seating. The menu is large with many rolls, appetizer, and entree options. I got a sashimi salad ($15), my friend got the chirashi ($30), and shared an albacore roll ($16). We also got a hot tea. The hot tea came out cold first but the waiter was nice and did not charge us for the 2nd one. Albacore roll had a citrus sauce, a little too much red onions on it but a lighter roll. Sashimi salad had decent amount of sashimi and light dressing. Not the best sashimi but filling and a solid meal. My friend liked her chirashi but said there was too much rice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall a family oriented eatery with large portions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would love to try the sashimi my next visit!

Mixed Tempura

We're enjoyed the food a lot! The portions are surprisingly big and the service is great. We had crunchy roll, mango salad, mixed tempura, crunchy baked salmon and tons crispy rice- everything was great. Highly recommended.

11. Salmon Avocado Roll

Enjoyed our meal. The sunrise roll was great and the fish was fresh. We will be back.

I really loved the private dining room with the beautiful bonsai tree as the backdrop. It created a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, and the room gave us plenty of privacy to enjoy our celebration together. The food quality was outstanding. We ordered the Premium Chirashi ($80), which was incredibly fresh and absolutely excellent. The Seared Scallop ($31) was perfectly prepared and delicious. The Tuna Pringles ($17) were both fun and flavorful, with crispy wonton skin adding a great texture. The A5 Wagyu Beef ($70) was premium quality and exceptionally tender. We also enjoyed the Salmon Skin Salad ($20), as well as the King Salmon Sushi ($28) and Hokkaido Scallop Sushi ($27), both of which were fresh and delicious. For dessert, we had the Amato Special Black Sesame Ice Cream ($15), which was unique, rich, and a perfect way to end the meal. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our servers were professional, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. We even had a fun conversation with one of our waiters about the World Cup matches, which made the experience even more enjoyable and personal. It's those little interactions that made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. IZAKAYA OSEN truly delivers a high-end dining experience with exceptional food, beautiful ambiance, and outstanding service. We had a wonderful birthday lunch, and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and look forward to visiting again.

For the kushiyaki, we ordered the beef tongue, prime beef, chicken gizzard, and bacon enoki mushroom skewers. Every skewer was packed with flavor. The prime beef was especially tender. For sushi, we tried the Blue Crab Uni Bowl and the Premium Sushi Hachi Mori (8 pieces). While the sushi was excellent, the standout for me was definitely the Blue Crab Uni Bowl. It felt like a DIY hand roll experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, spacious, and has a great atmosphere. There's a parking structure available, and the restaurant validates parking, which makes visiting even more convenient. Overall, everything from the food to the ambiance was outstanding. Service was amazing during dinner rush. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi and kushiyaki!

Inside was busier that night, due to Fifa on the TVs. The Mongolian beef was probably my favorite, eaten with the garlic noodles and cucumber salad. The carrot ginger soup was a nice appetizer, and the black rice used in some of the rolls was an interesting twist. one thing to be aware of...when your server asks what type of wasabi you'd like, the fresh and pickled wasabi both come with an additional charge. Unfortunately, our server never mentioned this. She assumed it was common knowledge, but we ended up being charged $9 for the fresh wasabi and $3 for the pickled wasabi without any warning. at one point, i asked if we could try both types, and she replied, "Of course," which made it seem like it wasn't an issue or an added cost. If we were paying for both, there wouldn't have been any reason to ask for permission in the first place. When we asked if she could let us know next time that wasabi was extra, she simply said that fresh wasabi is "always extra." That may be true, but it's something that should be communicated before ordering rather than assumed. while the ingredients were fresh, I didn't find the food or the experience memorable enough to justify the price. Not authentic either..There are plenty of other sushi spots with better value and a more transparent dining experience, so I probably won't be back.

Horrible customer service and hospitality…read more I called to see if they could add a side of spicy mayo to my DoorDash order, and they flat out refused. Normally that wouldn't be a huge issue if there was actually a way to add it through the DoorDash menu, but there isn't. I explained that I was trying to pay for it and simply wanted to know how to do so, yet the woman I spoke with was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of trying to help find a solution, I was treated like I was inconveniencing them by asking a simple question. Good customer service is about helping customers (I've ordered there many times before and dined in person as well), especially when there's an issue with your online ordering setup. A small side of spicy mayo should not turn into an unpleasant interaction. The food may be decent, but customer service matters too. There are plenty of sushi restaurants that appreciate their customers and are willing to provide basic courtesy and assistance. Based on this experience, I won't be ordering from here again.
