Nothing memorable about the service but the food was memorable in a less than positive way. The rice wasn't that good on my visit. They are comparable in price to other poke places but not in quality. The poke bowl was a good size. The parking is easy in the lot. Easy in and out. The restaurant is clean. We really like this place. The owner is super friendly. At first, I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that it's a Poke place that does Mexican. We really only order the poke bowls- but we had to try the Mexican side once out of sheer curiosity... and it didn't disappoint. We ordered some tacos and a quesadilla (neither pictured, I forgot to post.) I loved the crab Rangoon, super crispy and very tasty. They also have a very good Thai tea- the large is a good portion. We usually do the 2-protein or 3-protein bowl. You can jam pack it full of fun ingredients- depending on which delivery platform you use, sometimes the ingredients may vary slightly. They also have a website you can order directly through (qmenu) if you don't feel like using UberEats- but it doesn't always work. You can always call your order in, of course. I'm gonna give this spot 5 stars because I love sushi bowls. At first I was thrown off from the name because it says Mexican poke. They have both Mexican food and poke/sushi bowls. I have yet to try the Mexican, but if it's anything like the sushi, it's got to be good. You get to pick your base which could be rice, noodles, etc. Then your protein, toppings, and sauces. I get a white rice base, tuna, salmon (sometimes spicy) with avocado, mango, cucumber, seaweed salad and Kani salad with spicy Mayo and eel sauce. *Chefs kiss* I never remember to take a picture of the bowls because I end up eating them too fast. They have a loyalty card if you buy 10 bowls, you get one free. read more

Stopped in and ordered poke. It was good and I'm glad that I can get poke in town. I ordered as close to my usual poke bowl as I could get. I had tuna, salmon in a brown rice bowl with mango, seaweed salad, etc with spicy aioli. I want to try the spicy tuna and spicy salmon next time I go in. The portions are good and I was full after finishing the bowl. It's healthier than a lot of the other fast food in town and easier to get than sushi takeout. I think they could benefit from having a special menu item like the "Bristol Bowl" where I could walk in and order that automatically. I think that will make ordering somewhat easier if you are not sure what to get. read more

Food here is fabulous and fresh. So nice to have fresh healthy choices on a quick stop. I got the Poke Salad and will definitely will be returning! Large portion. The workers are very friendly and happy to help you navigate any ingredients you are unfamiliar with, but may want to try. A bit confusing that they offer both Mexican food and Poke Bowls... but worth overlooking that oddity! read more

Well if you wanna try some place new and awful here you go. From the repeating of my order more than 4 times and having ingredients not asked for end up in my burrito along with the finality of them cutting my to-go burrito in half and placing it on a plate after telling them 5 times its to go... I almost walked out, and i should have, but this place is new. So I brought the food home as suspected it was as good as the service. I really hope you guys get your listening skills together soon. read more

I had originally ordered a poke bowl off of Uber eats and I did not get what I asked for. they did not put the salmon and tuna that was on the order in the bowl. I called Pokes Works and told them what had happened and the man who answered the phone understood completely and asked if i wanted the same thing again with the protein obviously. I said yes thank you. and he asked me for my address and brought it to me in 20 min or less. He himself brought it to me and was so kind and helpful. Would definitely order again from here. Great Poke place!! The salmon and tuna were completely fresh and delicious. It's about time Bristol added some diversity to its culinary choices and this place is a heck of a lot closer than West Hartford for the nearest poke. The poke bowls are a good price and nice quality ingredients. You create your own bowl with what ingredients they have, similar to Subway or Moe's. I agree with previous reviewers that if they had some pre-selected bowl ideas, it would work to their benefit for people who are unfamiliar with the food (especially since there aren't many poke bowl places in the area). I tried a chicken burrito bowl as well, which was a great size for the price, but I wouldn't say it was any better than what you would find at Moe's or other a similar places. It was just "okay". Nothing really great about the selection of toppings or choices of meat for the price. It is a healthier quick meal than other options available in the area. It is very similar to another restaurant further down Farmington ave. but not as hot and tasty. Probably better for people that enjoy the cold Poke options. Be aware that you will have the dreaded tip screen at the end of your card transaction. Can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable while server is staring at you to choose a tip amount. read more

I ordered here for the first time today... I had never had a poke Bowl and didn't know what to expect... But wow was I happy! The food was fresh and flavorful and a generous portion! I also ordered three appetizers, the butterfly shrimp that came with a yummy coconut sauce, the vegetable spring rolls again yum, and the fried cheese triangles that I didn't particularly care for... The filling wasn't just cheese it was just a little odd for me... I believe it was supposed to be crab but it tastes a little more like tuna fish for me but that's just me. The packaging was superb... And I requested my sauces for the Poke Bowl to be on the side and they all came on the side... I just wish I had gotten more because the sauces were amazing! First time trying the poke here. Got a rice burrito with just spicy salmon and was not disappointed! All the ingredients are fresh, and flavorful. Ordering was a bit cumbersome, but it's definitely something you want to order a la carte. It's a nice alternative to all the chain fast food joints that litter Farmington Ave, will definitely be going back to try the other ingredients I did not include on this trip! read more

After doing some Christmas shopping a couple weeks ago I was really in the mood for poke. I had already left the area where I usually get my poke so I figured I would give a local restaurant a try since I like supporting them. It was relatively busy which I thought was a good thing. The moment I heard a poke/burrito place was opening I did have my doubts but figured it's something different. Upon entering, it is very clean. It took awhile for me to order since there was several people in front of me. Once I was able to order it was pretty quick. I took it to go so I could eat at home. Honestly, I should have stayed where I was and just got poke there. There was absolutely NO taste to anything that was in the bowl. The rice was hard and not cooked through. Even with the sauces added and the toppings it was not edible. Also their version of "crunch" on poke is crushed up nacho chips. disgusting. I won't be returning and it's unfortunate because it's nice to have something new in town, but this won't do. read more
