    Poke + Boba
    Sarah N.

Suka Poke is great! My friend and I both built our own medium bowls ($15.85), and I thought the portion sizes for the toppings were very generous, and the toppings, themselves, were fresh and flavorful. We also each got boba -- she got honeydew which she enjoyed, and I got brown sugar. I liked the flavor of the brown sugar, though it was a little too sweet for my liking. The pearls were also a little hard and probably needed to be cooked a little longer, but the service made up for it! Suka was offering a 10% discount on boba today due to the extreme heat, which I thought was generous of them.

Beautiful and surgically clean! The best taste experience! I love getting the fishy bowl with jalapeno and spicy sauce. Be sure to grab a musubi or 2 for the road!

This subway-esque Poke restaurant gives it to you any way you like it! You can see all your potential selections through the glass and can verbally adjust how much or how little of something you want in your bowl. The staff are so friendly and attentive. I wish I took pictures of the inside because it is beautiful and spotless! This poke place has endless toppings and sauces to add, most with no additional charge. The best part of it all is the staff is not skimpy with portions and you get a mountain of a bowl. The Ahi Tuna, avocado and Salmon tasted so fresh!! The bowl was 10/10 great experience. The Thai milk tea was incredibly tasty, smooth and honestly perfect, even the tapioca pearls were not too chewy and didn't have an overbearing taste that complimented the tea very well. Another 10/10 experience with the milk tea, and I can't wait to try other flavors, particularly the mango milk tea. The miso soup was extremely flavorful, albeit very salty. Fresh scallions and chunks of tofu helped alleviate from the salty broth. I highly recommend coming here!

"O M G" is the first thing comes to my mind after visiting this place. This place is owned by Indonesian people where Suka name came from. First moment we walked in, we were greeted very politely. The place looks clean and decorated by nice art on the wall. There are 6 round tables which can fit about 12 people. There were 3 groups of customers ahead of us and they were all ordering to go as same as us. We got all large poke bowls which costs $18 a bowl while medium bowls are $15.75. We are amazed by the portions of the food given and how fresh the food were. It's totally worth $18. I still couldn't believe I coincidentally found this place on Yelp and I was so pumped I did. We will definitely stop by there again if we have chance. Note to the owner: Hi hope you remember us from NYC. We all love the food so much and we probably see you again next month. :)

YUM!!! Was looking for places that sell Boba Tea and discovered this absolute gem!! Picked up a Suka Hawaii bowl which was delicious! The restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall and was deserted when I walked in. Inside is small with several places to sit and VERY clean. Looks a bit like an old ice cream shop which I believe it may have been. The gentleman working was very nice and helpful-explaining things to me. I will definitely be back and encourage everyone reading this to stop in!!

This is the best poke spot around. Incredibly fresh ingredients, great choices, and very filling. The owners are the nicest people and really want you to enjoy your experience! This is my 4th visit.

Love it! Good portions, fresh, I try to go every Friday! Hard to find a good poke bowl anywhere, and this is by far the best.

It's located in a plaza and it's a small, cozy spot; there were about 7 tables. I don't think they accept reservations. We went on Saturday for dinner, there were a group of about 15 to 20 and then my family. I was glad we were able to get a table for 4! The service was great! Food came out fast too. My kids had the chicken katsu with fries which they enjoyed. My husband had the sashimi platter and Philly roll, which he said was fresh and tasty. I ordered 3 sushi rolls: Dragon Roll- it had crispy tempura shrimp, avocado wrapped in sushi rice and nori seaweed; it was topped with eel sauce and sesame seeds. Shrimp Tempura Roll- which had Tempura Shrimp, Avocado, Cucumber, Tobiko, and Homemade Eel Sauce Spicy Crunchy Tuna Roll- fresh minced tuna, seaweed, rice, and I believe popped rice to make it crunchy Honestly, all delicious. I couldn't find a negative. The sushi were fresh and innovative. The menu had so many delicious options that I wanted to try all of it in one sitting, if I was a rich sumo wrestler lol. Yes, it's worth the hype and I'll be back soon!

Nothing memorable about the service but the food was memorable in a less than positive way. The rice wasn't that good on my visit. Sorry to rain on some of your parades. I see other happy customers. Unfortunately I wasn't one of them. It's ok though.

We really only order the poke bowls- but we had to try the Mexican side once out of sheer curiosity... and it didn't disappoint. We ordered some tacos and a quesadilla (neither pictured, I forgot to post.) I loved the crab Rangoon, super crispy and very tasty. They also have a very good Thai tea- the large is a good portion. We usually do the 2-protein or 3-protein bowl. You can jam pack it full of fun ingredients- depending on which delivery platform you use, sometimes the ingredients may vary slightly. They also have a website you can order directly through (qmenu) if you don't feel like using UberEats- but it doesn't always work. You can always call your order in, of course. The food is always ready on time. Always fresh.

I…read moredon't live near the center of Newington so I was unaware that Mom and Pop's existed (and has for about four years, apparently - oops!). Once again, Yelp to the rescue. I was confused when I first checked the menu options on the website because literally every choice said 'unavailable.' To be fair, it was 10:42AM and they open at 11. However, this remained the case until closer to noon, at which point I was able to build my own bowl. Picking two proteins was easy but they don't really make it clear how many mix-ins and toppings you can have, so I probably shorted myself. Ultimately I chose salmon and tuna with white rice, carrots, cilantro, pickled ginger, and green onions. After placing my order I waited for the promised email, which never came. Finally, after about 20 min, I saw that my order was 'complete' and headed over, miraculously scoring a parking spot right in front. Once inside it was more confusion as there is no dedicated pickup area, Mom was in her own prep and chop mode, and Pop was focused solely on walk-in orders. But after managing to catch his attention I was on my merry way, with a somewhat underwhelming poke bowl, ONE napkin, and the offer of chopsticks (which I declined). A takeout bag would've been appreciated but was not provided. Back at home I surveyed the bowl before digging in. Everything was accounted for and the fish was good. The rice tasted like yesterday's leftovers, though, and I've never been served cilantro stems instead of leaves. Again, the bowl was fine; not the best poke I've ever had, but I'd be willing to give them a second chance and perhaps choose some different or additional fixings next time.
