I even had family members--who had never stepped foot inside a comic book or card shop--go in to pick up my orders, and Dustin made them feel completely welcome every single time. After my surgery, each time I stopped by, he'd celebrate my recovery, show genuine kindness, and always encourage me. I went from walking in with a cane, barely able to stand, to coming in regularly just to hang out, talk cards, and enjoy the atmosphere. This place isn't just a store--it's a community. We're a big board game and puzzle family and this is the best store for both of those things in the San Fernando Valley that I'm aware of. It is located inside the mall so be aware of that. They have a good selection of games, they have a really excellent selection of puzzles. I'm sure this is driven by what sells for them but they have way too many Funko pop figures for me. That's not my thing, and it takes up a lot of space in the store. But I'm sure they sell a lot of them. They also have some great toys, although not a great selection of them. Everyone here who works here is friendly and helpful. We've never had any issues there. I will say their recommendations are not always great. The main thing that does bring this store down a little bit is just how expensive some of the things can be. It's pretty often that you can find the same item for less money on Amazon. I know that makes me sound heartless, and I love supporting shops like this, but sometimes the price difference is very considerable. But overall it's a great store, definitely check it out.
