    Fresh Salmon Poke Bomb
    Luis M.

The staff was super awesome. Shout out them! The place was brick, so bring a jacket cause it's cold. The food was not well executed. The bombs were delicious, not sure if it's cause they just came out, but they were really good. The Musubi was insanely bland and just weird. I make it at home and I eat it all the time it needs work. I eat a fair share of sushi and uncooked fish, there was something slimy about this one. The burrito is a really awesome concept but mine came out slimy as heck, I felt like I was eating an actual fish. We normally put down plates of food but I only made it to the halfway on this one. The owners need to do something about the recipes. The locals probably aren't familiar with the dishes they are eating but this could be much better.

Huli Huli Chicken Plate and Lightly Sweetened Jasmine Green Tea

The music is a bit loud, so make sure to speak up when ordering. They have a few tables and counter seating, as well as outdoor table seating. There is a lot of foot traffic in and out but I haven't had a trouble scoring a table. The Huli Huli Chicken (Plate) is super tender and well saiced. I enjoyed the addition of furikake in the Mac Salad! It was definitely my favorite part of the plate. The Side Salad is fresh with a light dressing. I love that the rice (white or brown) soaks up the Teriyaki sauce. Lots of flavors in each portion of the dish. The Lightly Sweetened Jasmine Green Tea is indeed lightly sweetened. It has decent Jasmine flavor. Overall, a nice spot to hit for a flavorful meal by the AMC Theater and shopping center. It can get pricey depending on what you order, but it generally seems good quality and fresh.

Poke Bowl - Large (3 Proteins)

Great space with ample parking spots! There's even a drinks and dessert menu which I have not seen at other locations. The fish was very fresh and for those not into raw fish, they now offer hot plates.

I've only been here during lunch time but dinner time is really busy. They have a lot of take out orders as well. Plenty of parking in this shopping complex. It is a bit pricey but sign up for their rewards program and you get a free bowl

We'd been craving for Poke bowl and this is the closest to us with a fair diner reviews. It maybe under a chain but the stars in the reviews engaged us to drive here and tried. The place has this vibes that brings a good feeling to us the moment we walked in. Clean. Neat. Friendly staff. I have always ordered a ready bowl as I believe they have given a lot of thought about each meal on the board. I trust them that all ingredients in the bowl I picked complement each other. I was right! From carbs down to protein, sauces , veggies and toppings taste great as one whole thing. The Hawaiian soda is a good thing to get for a package experience. I'd never had the dole whip ice cream for a long time and it satisfied my cravings for a Hawaiian dessert. I can't help myself not to take home samples of their spam musubi and can't help not to eat right away when I get home . Definitely coming back to this place in order to try their other selections in the menu board. A recommended place.

Always a delight to come to Pokeworks. Luckily there is one in fresh meadows sort of close to me. Staff is always helpful, patient and polite. It's fast paced when it's busy so be prepared. The food is fresh to death and portions size is pretty big they don't skimp you. Inside: Very Clean and spotless

list of ingredients you get with ClassPass.

I seriously have an issue with this place. I used my ClassPass to order a Hawaiian poke bowl. all of the ingredients are listed. They are very strict and will only give you what is listed exactly on the ClassPass. If you were in there ordering a bowl without ClassPass, you could add all kinds of stuff without an extra charge. I understand that it's ClassPass and they want to be very strict with just the listed ingredients. However, on the ingredients listed it says that you're supposed to get seasonal crunch. I enjoy crunchy stuff in my Poké bowl. The guy refused to give it to me after I pointed it out. he said it it only comes with sesame seeds. I showed him the list of ingredients on the ClassPass. Clearly there were sesame seeds and then after that, it stated "seasonal crunch." I think it's a pretty crappy policy that you can't get what everybody else gets when they order a Poké bowl. Having said that, I respect it. So they should respect their own policy to give you all the ingredients that are listed. shame on this place.

Kind of new offering: Hawaiian chicken plate (chicken and rice served hot)
    Essie L.

This is still the only poke place I visit in Queens, as their quality is consistent and everything looks fresh and clean. They started offering hot plates / bowls as well which is great for families with younger kids. I got the chicken plate for my kid, and it's good. I wish the macaroni salad wasn't spicy though, my kid wouldn't eat it. It would also be good if the salad can be replaced with something else from the poke side selections (eg edamame, corn).

    $20 + for rice

Order was wrong. $20 for rice. Had to look for the protein. I have had too many bad experiences with Poke Works and will remove them as my place for Poke. There are other places that will do better.

Came on a weeknight to try a Poke bowl. Two proteins, unlimited add ins, sauces to top off for $17 after taxes. There were a few people ahead of me but the line moved at a good pace. I got a small amount of white rice, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, sliced onions, corn, edamame, shredded nori, fresh seaweed, salad mix, kale, green onions, garlic chips, onion chips, little sriracha aoli sauce, little cilantro sauce, chili crisps, Thai chili, mango, cucumber, cabbage, Serrano pepper. They mixed everything except for the rice, putting the mixed food on top of the rice. Good flavor, fresh. Definitely will return.

This particular business place has ample parking which is very convenient for costumers. They keep their place spotless, has a casual atmosphere but I have noticed that a lot of their costumers prefer their orders to-go. What I specially like with the food that they offer is fresh, costumizable, delicious, healthy and unique toppings/ingredients/sauce. They give a fair amount of ordered food when you order a bowl of poke. The food is delicious, flavorful, has a vibrant taste of the mixed ingredients and sauce. Prices are a tad higher than expected. I like that they incorporate fish like salmon or tuna in their poke bowl which is healthy. They also offer vegan option which is a plus for me. Their house made sauces are incredible, examples are the Pokeworks classic, Umami shoyu and Sriracha aioli. The staff are very nice warm, provides quick and fast service and they take their time to explain on what they offer. They can try to improve on giving a more generous amount on their food bowls. Or probably I was just thinking that it was not of sufficient amount because it taste really good. At the time that I came here they were offering a discount for all healthcare workers, just have to show your ID... lucky me .

Just got introduced to this the other day. And today's going to be my third time going back to back . Love the concept and basically getting sushi in a bowl !! Love it

    Charred Terriyaki Salmon Plate
    Cairo R.

My boss was ordering from here for the team for lunch so I had to choose something. I was a little nervous as I've never had any Poke before; but relieved when I saw there were cooked items as well. I ordered the Charred Terriyaki Salmon Plate. I'm really particular about my fish not tasting too fishy. I really like the flavor of the salmon. It has a almost grilled kind of flavor to it along with the teriyaki sauce, which was just a hint of sauce, but not drowning the fish. It was great combination with the white rice, The salad and the avocado. There was a small portion of a macaroni salad as well, which had a nice flavor. I was very satisfied with this dish and would order the same exact thing again. Plus the portion was a great size which filled me up, but was not overwhelming. Definitely recommend.

SPAM Musubi--served warm. grilled spam + rice, wrapped in crispy seaweed. this was fine. all the flavors are there. however i would stick with the bigger bites on the menu or another side order of macaroni salad. the interior is well-maintain, clean, and casual sit-down interior. there's a decent amount of tables if you want to dine in. the staff is friendly and accommodating. my to-go order was neatly wrapped up and bagged. if you are looking for a different kind of comfort food, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue has got a lot of options for you. it's also nice to have a place to grab some enjoyable Hawaiian calories without a 10-hour plane flight! though, i'd still rather be in Maui or the Big Island--when are we getting that teleportation thing going?? Im giving it just 1 star for the crispiness but it's not authentic lumpia by any means. It tasted more like those bootlegged spring rolls from Chinese American takeout restaurants. Each roll was also very skinny/lacked filling. Saimin w chicken katsu - 2/5. To be fair I've never had Hawaiian style ramen before so I don't know if saimin is supposed to taste like this. But if I had to choose between a bowl of ramen from a Japanese restaurant or this saimin, you can't pay me to choose the latter. It was like a whitewashed version of ramen, in which the broth had a vegetable flavor and not rich at all. The toppings were Naruto slices and bits of veggies. The katsu was ok but not memorable. Loco moco plate - 3/5 my husband loves loco moco so I had to get it for him. I was surprised it came with two eggs (you get to choose how you want them done) and two Patties. So basically two servings in this plate! Despite the generous portion, the food was just alright. We had loco moco from vert frais (jap French fusion eatery in LIC) recently, and that was so much better. The patty here was neither tender nor juicy. The sauce was pretty average but vert frais' was above average. I was really looking forward to the macaroni salad in the plate but they didn't give a lot (they piled it on some rice so it looked like more than it was). The Mac salad was also a little on the plainer side. Only had a couple of carrot shreds I'm tempted to come back to try their seafood but I have my doubts

Hawaiian Kitchen, based in Bethpage, absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the start, they were incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I had originally requested 2-liter bottles of soda, but since they didn't have them in stock, they proactively delivered individual cans instead to ensure our team had plenty of drinks. Now, for the food--it was phenomenal. Our office hasn't stopped raving about it! The Coconut Shrimp and Grilled Shrimp were huge hits, and the Angus Steak was incredibly tender. Even the Chicken Fried Rice was a standout, and all of their signature sauces were delicious. They also did a large house salad for us with the most incredible Ginger dressing. I had numerous people ask me where I found them, and I couldn't wait to order for their next small house parties or to pick up dinner on the way home. It was all so fresh and not greasy. We also ordered spring rolls that were so light and crispy, pineapple fried rice that was really delicious, and marinated chicken and steamed broccoli. I was tempted to get the mini meal since I don't eat a lot, but I ultimately caved and decided to get the combo meal since I wanted to try the Kailua pork too. The verdict? The Kailua pork was a little too salty for me, it comes mixed with like cabbage or lettuce, and overall very mushy which I didn't mind. The food is fair --…read moreroughly on par with your favorite local Chinese takeout spot -- but the food alone isn't really the reason you come here. Walking inside feels like stepping into a themed Disney or Times Square restaurant, just without the inflated prices, and that atmosphere adds a fun calming charm to the experience. You're probably not going to get a "knock your socks off" meal or world-class service and the cocktail menu can feel a little mysterious, filled with drinks you may or may not recognize. Still, no matter what you order, some fruity and alcoholic concoction will appear at your table, and chances are you'll enjoy it even if you're not entirely sure what it is. Chaotic upon entering! We got there a bit before 9:30pm (we checked to ensure they'd still be open - yes 11:00pm) and the manager said - if you know what you want, hurry up! Kitchen is closed! LOL - Wah?! Anyway, we got our pu-pu platter and shared a fried rice and sweet n sour chicken. The platter was fun; the food just OK. It was karaoke night and we were happy that a lot of the patrons this evening were a young and mixed crowd - meaning this place might still live on for another generation. Hey - why not? Cool Polynesian-themed (albeit VERY dated) decor and mai-tai's that'll knock you on your butt if you have two or more! I do hope Mgt decides to spend a few bucks on this place though -- the carpeting is pretty gross and the chairs look like they're from grandma's basement. Old! Anyway - fun blast-from-the-past night for just the two of us. Cheers!
