5 Stars We hold this establishment in high regard--and for good reason. A Michelin recommendation six years running, it's clean and beautifully updated. We ordered bok choy, fried Shanghai udon, Shanghai rice cake, fried dough, and six soup dumpling specialties--and they were the real stars. We tried the signature chicken, scallop, gourd luffa, crab meat & pork, and black truffle varieties. Each one was perfectly pleated, with thin, delicate wrappers that held a burst of piping-hot, flavorful broth. The black truffle was intensely aromatic, the crab & pork was rich and savory, and the luffa offered a surprisingly light, refreshing twist. Honestly, these rival (if not beat) Tang Tai Fan in Manhattan--at half the price. A true hidden gem!

Very juicy and flavorful selection of soup dumplings. As someone who can't decide on what to get, this assortment was great for me and my friends. It's basically a dumpling flight. Surprisingly even the green (vegetarian) was good. My favorite was probably the black one, as it has truffle oils.

Spent the day exploring Chinatown in flushing and tried this place based on a yelp search. It was on the upper floor of of a strip mall and when we walked in we were able to get seated right away. The restaurant was clean and the service was very good. The soup dumplings were very tasty although some of them broke as we took them out of the steamer. Very tasty nevertheless and the pan fried buns were delicious. We also had the fried Chinese chive box which was like an empanada filled with egg and loads of scallions. I could eat a bunch of these for breakfast in a regular basis. The Shanghai Siu Mai was not my favorite, but I'm glad I tried it. It was essentially a fried rice in a dumpling wrapper. Definitely a good spot for dim sum.

Came for lunch on a Saturday after visiting Tangram mall which is only a block away. First time here but took about 15 minutes to get seated for a table of three. Tried the soup dumplings of course which were really good and their stir fried noodles with pork, also very good. I'd pass on the mixed berry tea next time as that was a bit too sweet fory liking, but overall a good experience. We got our food pretty quickly. Will be back to try some other dishes like maybe their noodle soup.

Awesome experience! Love soup dumplings after years dining at the now closed Grand Sichuan. Good to discover Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao, although not a part of town I'm typically at. A nice setting away from the potentially frenetic streets. Fast service. Decided on the Gourd Luffa, Shrimp and Pork Soup Dumplings! Reasonably priced and delicious! An awesome choice! Will check out their other locations in town. Recommend you stop by Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao!

I love this place after ordering the wait for the food wasn't long at all. You can see the staff making the dumplings when you walk in. It's a very popular place people visit after landing at the airport and I see why.

We went through a long (18 mile) walking through Queens and Nan Xiang was our final destination. The food was delicious and exactly what we needed after a long day. The soup dumplings are definitely the highlight on the menu. We ordered the assortment of 6 different soup dumpling flavors. My favorites were the pork + crab and the pork + truffle. We also ordered the pork + veggie wontons with spicy peanut sauce, and the chicken stir-fried udon. The soup dumplings are super fresh and packaged with flavor. The wontons are also solid if you want something a little richer. I've had better dumplings in the city, but still a very solid option. The passion fruit ice tea is fantastic and not too sweet. We were very impressed by how efficient the check in process was. The was a large line when we arrived, but it moved quickly and we were able to get seating within 20 minutes. The service was also good and the crew that helped us was very nice. We would definitely come back if we're ever back in the area!

Another great pickup, another awesome packaging job. Driving 15 mins home and food still arrives hot and crispy. Udon noodles are delicious, rolls are crispy, xiao long bao are the best in Flushing, IMO. Ordering online from their website is best, plan to allow 30 minutes for your order to be ready. They'll email you when it's ready. Until the next great meal!!!!

Visited Nan Xiang on a busy Saturday early afternoon. Once you enter, you can scan the QR code to enter your name and phone number and they will assign you a number. Luckily, there was only a short wait for our party of two at around 12pm...but I suspect the wait can be much longer later in the afternoon or during peak dinner times. Once your number is called, you go up some stairs to the eating/tabled area. There are tables and chairs for 2, 4 and more guests throughout the large space. The pace of the restaurant is very fast...as soon as you are seated, you are given tea and your waiter comes over right away to take any order you are ready to give. Its helpful to ask for a menu while you are waiting for a table so you know what to order when asked. We had some soup dumplings as well as a (large) soup. Everything was very good and out in about 15 minutes...very fast. The soup dumplings were great...but as expected are filled with piping hot broth so be careful when eating. They have some other appetizers and dishes available. There are also some drink options including cold teas, soft drinks and beer. Overall a great experience...despite visiting on a busy Saturday, we were in and out in about 40-45 minutes. Street parking can be tough in the area but there are a few garages around...one of the more reasonable options is the garage at the Skyview shops which currently charge about $6 for up to three (3) hours and is a short 5 minute walk away.

I had a great experience at Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings. The soup dumplings were flavorful, juicy, and clearly made in house. Very fresh ingredients used. The menu offers plenty of delicious options, the service was efficient, and the lively atmosphere made for a fun dining experience. The chicken stir fry udon was delicious. Definitely a must-visit if you're in Flushing!

Stopped by Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao in Flushing this past weekend and had a much better experience than the first time I came here about 7 years ago. We ordered a mix of their signature dishes: pork soup dumplings ($8.95), crab & pork soup dumplings ($9.95), and black truffle soup dumplings ($12.95). All of them came out piping hot with delicate skins and rich, flavorful broth inside. The pork was classic and satisfying, the crab added a nice sweetness, and the black truffle had a subtle earthy aroma that made it feel a bit more elevated. Definitely the highlight of the meal. For mains, we got the pan fried noodles and beef noodle soup. The noodles had a great crispy texture on the outside while still soft inside, and the flavor was savory without being too heavy. The beef noodle soup was comforting and hearty, with tender beef and a rich broth. What really stood out this time was how efficient everything was. Even on a weekend, the wait was surprisingly quick, and once seated, service was fast and attentive. The space itself has also changed a lot. It's much more modern, clean, and upgraded compared to what I remember years ago. It feels more polished while still keeping that busy, lively vibe. Overall, great food, quick service, and a big improvement from before. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area and craving soup dumplings.

Incredible. Came late night for a snack and decided to try the lucky six, and the spicy peanut wontons. The sauce on the wontons was velvety and not grainy like some peanut butter can be. It had the perfect amount of heat. The lucky six was delicious and juicy, with the truffle being my favorite. Price was very competitive and I've been thinking about returning since I left.

Service could be much better.... But wow the soup dumplings and noodles here are awesome. We ordered a bunch of food for the 4 of us to share and agreed that the best parts of the meal were the pork buns, pork soup dumplings, truffle soup dumplings, and crab/pork soup dumplings. Special shout out to the chicken udon noodles and veggie rice cake dish. Veggie rice cake dish had a bunch of different types of mushrooms in it - yum!! We also got the hot and sour soup which was tasty, a little too vinegary for us but we liked it. The new osmanthus chicken item was basically sesame chicken but SO small. Only a few pieces each for the 4 of us. Definitely would come back for dumplings though...

Sadly, the food did not live up to my expectations. On a positive note, the service was good. There was only one server, a young woman working this afternoon, and she was courteous and pleasant throughout our meal. For drinks, Hubby ordered Aunt Xu's Blood Glutinous Rice Milk Tea, while I had Aunt Xu's Blood Glutinous Rice with Fresh Milk. Both were refreshing and delicious, and these were probably the highlights of our meal. I ordered the Stir-Fried Tomato and Scrambled Eggs Mixed Noodles. It was decent, but nothing particularly special or memorable. The biggest disappointment was the Double Mushroom and Vegetable Heart Gluten Pot. There were barely a few pieces of gluten (面筋) in the entire dish. For a dish that features gluten as its main ingredient, the portion was incredibly disappointing. The taste was just okay--nothing particularly memorable. Gluten pot is one of my favorite Shanghai dishes, so I was especially excited to try it here. Unfortunately, the dish was far from what I had hoped for and made the experience even more underwhelming. Hubby ordered the Crispy Bottom Pot Stickers, which he described as just okay--nothing memorable and certainly not something that would make him want to order them again. We really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, the food simply did not impress us. Aside from the refreshing drinks and good service, there wasn't much that stood out.
