I grabbed a regular bowl, then we head home coz we have a busy day ahead and we were hungry. When we started to eat i noticed that the rice was hard (not cooked well kind of hard) so i decided to call the store to let them know that they served me a not well cooked rice. Spoke to Bailey and she confirmed to me that indeed the rice was hard. Then spoke to the manager Eunice and wanted me to bring the bowl back so they can replace it. Told her i cant because of the schedule we had and wanted me to bring it back tomorrow. Told her that i cant because i am working. She seemed to not understand what im telling her. I think they are under new management. I was a regular here for a few months - I came almost every day and I loved the place because they gave a lot (which is expected from how expensive the bowls were compared to other poke places). Now, the bowls and drink sizes are smaller , and combos are gone. The portions got smaller while the prices went up. I pay almost $20 for a regular bowl and large drink. I will not be coming back anymore. They have one of my favorite sauce combinations, but I don't think what you get is worth the price anymore. read more

I went to this place today and I was thrown off by the setting. It was dark and I thought the power was off which is not a good sign for poke. I ordered the regular with two proteins. They charge extra for sauces and the serving size was very small. They use one tiny scoop. The box they put it in made it look like I had already eaten half of it. Usually at other places I can split it for two lunches, but not here. The food was ok but this was way over priced for what they give you. I don't think I'll be back here. The prices are about average for the area, but if you sign up for messages you will receive a text for a small bowl for 4.99 or a discount on your order. We went here a few months ago, and were served by the new owner. From the way he was talking, it seemed like he was going to improve the location, if not make it better. Turns out he is a big fat liar. We returned last night and went to order our usual. This is when we noticed the first change. They used to have a large, medium, and mini. Now, they have a "kahuna" size, which is the same size as the old large, even though the worker tried to tell us it was bigger. Oh, and the kahuna is about $5 more than the old large ($18!). I would much rather pay $3 more and go get all you can eat sushi! The final straw was the memo on the glass that due to "produce shortages" they now charge $1 for avocado, which used to be free. Sorry man, I don't think your greed counts as a produce shortage. Needless to say, we walked out and will be finding a different poki location. It just sucks when someone new comes in and is more concerned about getting rich then about continuing on a great restaurant. read more

So a couple weeks ago, I stopped in with my daughter. We've been coming since they first opened and usually get the same items every single time. This time when I ordered the octopus that I usually get for my son what's not perfect and when I call the owner to complain, he listen with genuine concern. He understood and told me that he would have no problem replacing all our meals. I told him that I only wanted my son's meal replaced but he insisted.
