Now when I get a regular bowl, instead of three toppings it's two and if I want to get avocado I have to pay $1 extra. The price of the bowls also went up. Some other things have changed too. When businesses are under new management you can only hope its for the best, but in this case it's going to be a little more expensive for the customers now. read more

Anywho, it was my moms first time having poke, so I let the guy behind the counter show her the ropes (because she wouldn't listen to me, moms). I wanted to give it a second try and see if they had gotten better, since the day I first went was opening week. It was better but not amazing! The protein is still too cold, the sauces are a bit more flavorful and they did give me more ingredients this time. But....everything is extra, they give you two sauces one small one large if you get it on the side. Then they charge if you want extra, seaweed salad is extra, extra finger was extra and the green thing on top was extra. So my bowl ended up being maybe $15.00. I can't tell you for sure since I didn't get a receipt. But for two large bowls I paid $29. That's way too much. It looks appetizing but it was ok. read more

I've been going to the location in Riverside for years and I actually prefer this one. Which is good because it's less than 1 mile from home. The workers are super nice and welcoming. This place is way better than Ahi Poke on Day street! I would recommend to the manager to start some type of rewards program. Give customers a free bowl after the 5th purchase! My first time having one of these bowls. It was alright, I'd much rather prefer actual sushi rolls. I had a bowl with tuna and salmon. It tasted fine and they give you a very generous amount. My only problem, I asked to taste the tuna first, before committing to having that as one of my options. Nope, they don't let you sample anything except their sauces. I almost walked out at that point, but figured, I had really been craving sushi and figured, 'why not, I'm already here.' I actually had my leftovers for lunch the next day. It still tasted good.
